Move to a less happy household, it makes going to the match something to look forward to (I'm told).2 likes

Called in town for a couple of things and a walk around. The pavements and landscaping around the new housing and the courts on Howell Croft is looking impressive. The new Elizabeth Park across from the market is now open and is great. (Site of the first Benjamin Hick factory) When all the new buildings are finished, that part of town will be the 1st stage of the town’s redevelopment complete. A visit to Mrs. Walsh’s for some pasties, whist pies and potato cakes for my walk tomorrow. Lots of people in town too. Still some oddballs but it wouldn’t be Bolton without them😊2 likes

I'm happy to pay the current prices if we be in Championship, League one, or league two. I enjoy watching us and would pay twice as much if need be.. I've renewed mine already, think it was the 2nd or 3rd day. 4 season tickets all sorted.1 like

Aye Worked for Aaron Ramsdale Play well in a shit team, get a big move He's not done that, as it turns out but he's young and came through the ranks are city so he'll be good enough Not sure why anyone would opt for the championship when the PL is on offer, not if you believe in yourself1 like

As it’s pedantic Tuesday, the Guardian also makes obvious school boy errors. https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2006/jan/26/israel1 It’s an interesting read. This still sticks in my mind. The exit of the Qureia cabinet will change the wider politics of the region. Fatah, the party of Yasser Arafat and President Mahmoud Abbas - supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while the founding charter of Hamas commits it to the destruction of the Jewish state.1 like

I’ve got 3 to renew and working on a 4th. They are decent value but I am definitely seeing the appeal of watching it at home and not losing my entire day for the football.1 like

I think you may want to go back to some of my previous posts where I said it wasn’t ok. I did quote a survey where 85% of Israelis (that’s a large chunk) were dissatisfied with the government for their handling of the war. Having said that, it’s a war. Any war has to have an objective. Israel’s objective is to remove Hamas from Gaza. Does anyone know what Hamas’s objective is? Israel will defeat Hamas in Gaza. Thousands more will be killed. They will achieve their objective. Hamas are not just based in Gaza though, the resulting casualties of their defeat may work in Hamas’s favour. The support of the west for Israel will be tested. I suspect that is Hamas’s objective. Mass casualties to turn the west against Israel. It’s almost Putinism. 🤔1 like

Trafford is playing first team and on premier league wages. I’d say he got it bang right. Hopefully not next season mind. Would not be surprised if he gets picked up again in the summer. Good luck to him.1 like

I thought Exeter was a must win. Derby was a must not lose. We fucked up those two and we still have a fighting chance. This really is a must win for me. Opportunities can’t keep coming and going at this late stage of the season. We need to close the gap on Derby after these 2 Easter games as I can’t see them getting 6 points.1 like

Course he will but don't burst the bongs bubble. Not be too long before he can rid himself of all these trumped up charges (see what I did there?). I'm waiting for the retribution. Biden, Pelosi, Schumer and the rest of the utterly stupid cunts who have manufactured all of this will hopefully pay the price. You can't put the genie back into the bottle.1 like

Labour will, unfortunately, be judged on their first term back in power, when they won't have had to undo even a fraction of the shit the Tories will leave behind. The incumbents are a bit like the lad at work who has handed his notice in, but they're making him come in each day to see the time out. He's doing the bare minimum, causing as much shit as he can and nicking everything he thinks he can get with. I remember sitting listening to Clubcall (£1+ per minute) and racing lines all day most days when I was seeing a notice period out many years ago.1 like

Not something I'd ever imagined saying but Ugly Kid Joe were really very good last night. That whole genre almost totally passed me by so I was pretty much going in blind but came out really glad I'd gone. Full of surprises life is.1 like

And I'll say it again, the brexit/reform/blue rosette on a lamppost loons are salivating for Labour to get into power. They get to bitch and moan and not have to defend the indefensible anymore, forgetting all consequences of the mess that they have helped prop up and support. The usuals on here are going to have a lovely time - along with GB News etc the slightest misstep and they'll be wanking themselves into a told you so frenzy.1 like

Aye was also there. Even from the away section you could see it was a bad one. Seem to remember when asked about it Holden put it down to one of those things that happen and absolved Evans of blame. No idea if he ever changed his mind on that1 like
