  1. I think people just need to stop analysing every single snippet or piece of information and getting all hysterical when it doesn't transpire how they want it to. Players get injured. Players get delayed in recovery. Managers get grumpy with the press. It's fucking football, professional football and a man's game. Our cunts behave like soccer mums on an under 9s what's app group. Stop being melodramatic fannies, making shit up in your heads and focus your thoughts on beating Stevenagea and not some bizarre conspiracy dreamt up on twitter. Get a fucking grip for crying out loud you bunch of women.

  2. I’ve renewed, takes up a big chunk of my Saturday with the travelling. However for the first time in my life I’m thinking, go and watch the whites before I get too old and I can’t make the trip.

  5. Remarkable. The UN almost coalesces around an idea- one that says stop scrapping and release hostages. Well buggerfucktwat, that's the sort of thing that Hamas themselves said bollocks to previously, so isn't likely to wash. The sort of thing also offered by Israel and rejected. Decade upon decade of fighting, decade upon decade of word-smithing from many folk, invariably leading to more violence at a later point. Little in history suggests that it is a solution. Only one way will it all end, and that requires acceptance of Israel's right to exist. That was almost sorted with Saudi etc, and may have been the start, but surprise surprise, the extremists scuppered it.

  7. You've received loads of reasonable answers over the last few weeks/months, but you've instantly dismissed them - usually with the 😂 emoji, as though that's some sort of brilliant put down. As with every single issue ever discussed on here, it's blatantly obvious you're not interested in a nuanced discussion - you've already picked "your side", and you'll defend it regardless. Not that you're the only one.

  8. The state of our rivers are a fucking embarrassment. Privatising water has been a disaster. Where is the competition to keep prices low and quality high? No investment, just stripping money and now we are supposed to pay more to clean up their lack of investment.

  9. Nothing changes. He’s never been one for nuance. Kids die in wars. It’s just how it is. Alternatives don’t exist.

  10. Not what I said or was even inferring and is typical of the responses on here . “Gaza screechers “ really? that alone shows where this thread is in terms of rational thinking. I’ll leave you to it

  11. £219 (NSL) divided by 6 games is £36.50 so not a million miles off the mark with some of the match prices and a way of showing support. Been to a couple of away games that he wouldn’t have got a ticket for, and another mate’s Mrs tends to use it on the games he doesn’t go to. Everyone’s a winner.

  13. Tell you what though you can't blame any of our supporters for being either confused or angry about the situation, been a complete farce. They were apparently returning a month ago, then they're out, then back, then out shake it all about, one goes off on international duty, doesn't play, then still out and now this. Tbf, if Evatts pissed off too, then I can't blame him. Either way, it's been an absolute mess. I think the best thing for now is to leave this in the background. If they are out, then let's focus on the 11 or 16 available. We've got more than enough to get promoted. It's all about the team against Stevenage on Good Friday. Players have had a rest and have reset, no excuses.

  16. Nonsense. The ONLY answer is to obliterate every single human being in Gaza, then invade every other nearby Palestinian population, even though they're not governed by Hamas. There is literally no other option.

  17. Now, now, Bolty has taken a bit of flak over the Power Walking - and I feel bad because I instigated it. Whatever exercise you can do and whatever age you are, no one should be poked fun at for getting up and doing it. Well done, Bolty, you keep it up and don't listen to the naysayers.

  27. I renewed and still enjoy Saturday games and I still don't agree with making the match bus an hour earlier. If I didn't get on a pub bus at decent time I might think again. I go to night matches in the league but as I've said before cup matches I don't bother with. I get a ticket for the match but don't go. Fiver for a ticket plus ten for WTv will do do for a cold wet Tuesday night and I'm still in pocket.

  28. I'm happy to pay the current prices if we be in Championship, League one, or league two. I enjoy watching us and would pay twice as much if need be.. I've renewed mine already, think it was the 2nd or 3rd day. 4 season tickets all sorted.
