  1. It was also the 4th take, as IE kept insisting on doing it again as he wanted to look serious The 3rd take he wore his suit

  2. It seems the club is doing everything it can (and doing it well) to increase turnover but the brutal reality of trying to run a club sustainably in this era is hard (impossible?) to achieve We seem to be in good hands, though

  5. He is mid 60s but to be fair he has looked after himself was ex rugby professional , she has a very good job so independent, shes mid-late 30s so its hardly a Gary Glitter situation.

  6. Softening my stance on Will and Kate after speaking to folk from Arts & Homelessness International, and hearing more about the couples £500m fund to help the homeless, and how they've actually got homeless experienced people and grassroots organisations guiding them on how that money should be spent. Apparently Will himself has been very hands on and as a child along with Harry would be taken to a soup kitchen by Diana without the press and royal hangers on to pitch in and help out. The anti royalist in me is wondering how much good could be done with all the royals cash but I'm chuffed he actually wants to help out in a meaningful way and isn't just donating a token amount to shelter/crisis for it to be lost in admin and directors wages.

  10. Yes give them a try, easily do both in a 2 week trip. Its the UK kids I feel for. I wouldn’t be surprised if mine leave the UK too at some point. Hope they do, but it’s their life and all I can do is show them other cultures & countries.

  14. Vietnam or Cambodia. Do a month or so in Thailand & The Philippines, but will be back in the UK for July/August and maybe Xmas too re the kids etc. Waiting for the youngest to finish Uni. The people are amazing, the weather is beautiful, it’s cheap as chips and it’s not woke. They are rightly proud of their countries too, with national flags displayed everywhere. A great thing to see.

  17. Not got round to it yet, but probably will renew our two. If I didn't have such great seats, I'd consider applying to join the ESU elite.
