  1. Christ. I don't doubt that everyone who commented on this last February will have completely forgotten that they had an input but I'd just like you all to know that your words really did (and do) mean a lot and have helped more than you know. A full course of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a number of counselling sessions and countless physio and sports massage sessions (every time I convinced myself that pins and needles in my arms/hands/legs/foot etc. was the onset of MND) over the last 13 months and I've finally got to the point where I had a blood sample taken for this yesterday. Results in 6 weeks time. Here's hoping for the best. Expecting the worst but hey ho. Thank you all.

  4. Appeasing a country that's invaded another and stole it's land killing thousands of civilians and soldiers is not peacemaking. It's short term thinking cowardice.

  8. Spazzy Darren could negotiate peace if one side is giving in because it has no choice and the other is getting everything it wants. Trump is bullying VZ into conceding everything. Thats not a negotiation, it’s a bollocking. The only winner is Putin. And Trump. Who's side is he really on?

  16. Hands up if you've ever watched a home game from the south upper I have, we beat Birmingham 3-1 in 98/99 The away side seemed pretty full and there was seemed like about 10 of us in the home side and obviously we sat as close as we could to them We were 2-0 up in 5 minutes and just spent 90 minutes getting abuse and hand gestures about meeting outside and perhaps having our throats slot, should we decide to meet them

  17. Fucking hell. An emboldened Russia with a load of newly acquired Europe will simply stop and let the rest of Europe live happily ever after. At what point do you change your mind, by which time the costs to us will be for greater? They're not even communists any more.

  18. they were not until millions of egg laying bird had to be destroyed because of the bird flu, oh and Trump brought it up over and over and over again, and said he would bring them down on day 1, so 60 odd days in and they are still killing birds and the price is still going up, so he's having it rammed back down his big open month and I dont think he like it

  19. I don't think there is WUM at play here I think these are genuine views In the same way those who don't like Trump have theirs And it's all up for debate DT didn't get elected by WUMs If they are WUMs and don't actually believe what they're saying then that's up to them But the narrative is real

  20. We all hope he succeeds If this really is some ‘art of the deal’ masterpiece where Putin leaves Ukraine in peace, with its land & sovereignty, in return for being made to look good in front of the Russian propaganda machine, then fair play to him. I’ll be the first to bow down to the six foot Oompa Loompa. But I think most rational minded people, who don’t have their world view shaped by Twitter algorithms, know how unlikely it is. Putin wants all of Ukraine to be Russian, or to be a pro Russian government. Until that changes, then giving them large areas of land would be a disaster. And calling that peace would be nonsense. I’m 99% sure a man intent on colonising Greenland isn’t about to defend another nation’s sovereignty. I hope I’m wrong

  25. That U21 squad would give that first team a right good game. Burn, Quansah, Walker, Henderson, Ramsdale, Jones, Solanke, Rashford all shocking call ups. Spence, Wan-Bassaka, Branthwaite, Archie Gray, Hudson-Odoi, Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson, Adam Wharton, Delap, Nwaneri ALL would be better than those above, even Foden is lucky to be in. *And Conner Gallager...lads on fire!! Mandess really, 36 year old, 33 year old Debut, lads getting hadly any mins for clubs, selected above some of the best performing plpayers in the prem ALL season.

  29. Part of the problem with having trump involved is that he simply doesn’t understand what a sovereign nation is. So giving up land to Russia makes sense to him. He will justify it if Putin goes and takes more because he just doesn’t give a fuck. See Canada and Greenland for details.

  31. Anyway, amongst all of the crossfire, two things to say. 1) I hope a good bloke like Kent who really does care gets to keep his job. Even better, gets promoted. 2) Astounded that it's a Labour government doing these things. They've clearly sensed the wind of change happening all around the globe and are proactively trying to get ahead of the game. I never thought I would ever say that I am impressed by much that a Labour government is doing. This is, of course, if they actually follow through and do it.

  36. The encroachment rule has changed and it only comes into effect if the player has a significant impact, so if someone thundertwats it in but his team mate has gone in area it stands. Same if keeper saves it, or the guy misses only if the player who has encroached gets involved in any rebound does it matter. Statto.

  38. This cannot be good. Added to an ageing population and 500 boat people turning up a day I'm not sure who is going to pay all the tax. I read today those above 70 are more likely to pay income tax than those 18-30. Madness.
