Why would there be? The outrage isn't when folk are convicted, but when they're not, or when there is a clear failure amongst authorities to get to the bottom of it, and prevent it occurring. Another thinly veiled "R" accusation. There is a good reason why a Labour peer and unofficially, several Labour mps have backed the attempts to bring a full national inquiry into being to examine the full situation behind the Pakistani (majority) grooming gangs. Sense is prevailing, slowly.4 likes

remember Sonny....the 0.3% economical shrinkage, is more than made up for by the +100% increase in how miffed George Clooney and Ellen DeGeneres are. A Government/Administration cannot and must not be judged after just a few months in power (apart from Labour in the UK, of course)3 likes

Thought fuck it, popped to the local beer garden for a pint in my dinner hour. There's just something really nice having a solitary pint sat in the sun in a quiet beer garden midweek.3 likes

I've never seen Conway play so don't know how good he is, but having had a successful season playing in men's football at a good level, he must be the best hope of one of our young players breaking into the 1st team squad next season. Sending players out on loan has worked well this season with Conway & Morley ( even Dan seemed to do well at Cambridge )& weeded out one or two others. It might be better for the likes of Big Dave, SSA & Inwood to have a season gaining experience & toughening up in League 2/national league rather than a few minutes here & there in our 1st team squad.3 likes

If we were signing a you lad who was the previous season player of the season at Crewe we'd be thinking it a good signing. Conway has more than shown he's up to playing for us.3 likes

None of which is relevant to the point being made, repeatedly. There are also some individuals in North Western towns that haven't been banged up, and are seen regularly by their victims.2 likes

Leavitt? She's a fully signed up MAGA disciple, she knows it's got her to her position. She ran for the house of representatives and made some very odd statements. I'd say it's easy being the press secretary for Trump, if someone disagrees it's just fake, biased lies, just make up numbers, blame external forces for anything that goes wrong. They even gold briefings only for MAGA online influencers now and those friendly whilst the legacy media are cut off. You dont have to tread a line of balance, you just ignore any sort of robust questions and analysis all supported by your boss.2 likes

Great lads. Proper stalwarts. It was only when we moved to the Reebok I think we realised how many die hards we have that side of Lancashire. Huge numbers in Chorley, Leyland etc.2 likes

No you are You're the biggest mentalist, probably the best mentalist in the history of the mentalism. I doubt we've ever seen mentalism on such an amazing, winningist scale before. Let's Make Mentalism Great Again.2 likes

Definitely gives you a good perspective of what we've got doesn't it when you look at it as if we were linked to signing him. 21 Year Old, 6 Foot, Left Back/LWB, Player and Player's Player of the Year at a League 2 club that finished 12th and he scored their goal of the season. How much would we be paying for that player do we reckon?2 likes

Sucker punch early doors and Arsenal's lack of intensity probably to blame. Always found their newfound atmosphere a little bit forced anyway tbf. Grounds full of middle class toffs. Reminded me of Evattball that last night. Even at the death still looking for intricate passes down the right and little cutbacks from the byline and over/underlaps. Stick Rice and Saka up top and lump the cunt in ffs.2 likes

A good listen. I've been saying for some time that the conflict is fucking Russia's economy. Therefore, now is the time for Europe to up it's own game in defense terms, to make them (Russia) realise that they can't bully their way into neighbouring countries. At the same time, it's imperative that Putin is given an off-ramp such that he can save face and appear to have succeeded to his people. The guy also says Trump is right to try and stop the war (whilst hinting that his rhetoric is off). I'm convinced though that despite Tango man's bluster, those working behind the scenes are putting pressure on Russia, but in such a way as to provide a face saving way out.2 likes

Lamine was outrageous, so close to getting 3 himself, Inter played well and it's a good result, with Barca's way of defending and high line, I thought Inter with their nice passing to escape the press would create more Barca have to play well 2nd leg, not like the Dortmund 2nd leg quarter, anything like they've done on 3 occasions at the Madrid's will do nicely, gotta rest players vs relegated bottom at weekend, Pedri needs one.1 like

Another Arsenal thing I've noticed is when the PA guy announces a goalscorer, he's taken to doing that continental thing of shouting out the first name "Leandro...Leandro" and the Arse fans are supposed to (awkwardly) shout out "TROSSARD". It sounds great when the Germans do it in a big game. Arsenal scored a routine goal v Brighton that nobody was excited about, and it sounded like about 500 people took up the invitation to complete the announcement. He'd be better just doing the job himself. If Bolton ever see fit to attempt that I'll give up. I can imagine half of us wouldn't know the answer to the question anyway😀 David, I said David.....🤷♀️1 like

There's been nothing stopping the manager that's been in charge for the 2nd half of season from picking him. Other than he's nowhere near good enough.1 like

Tommy Robinson didn't hang around outside courts reporting on cover ups, he was stokng outrage because the offenders were Muslim When he led of charge of his followers to Barrow to kick off over alleged offences, it wasn't because of a cover up or failure of authorities, it's because he thought the perpetrators were Muslim As it turned out no crimes had even been committed The outrage is at its loudest when the offenders are Muslim1 like

They hadn't really evolved from latter day Wenger in that last 20 mins last night, remember them needing a goal in a UCL game or they were out and just kept passing it sideways and backwards till ref blew whistle. It was a bit like us, you're right, nobody to aim it at in the air so scared to put it in unless they could thread it through on the deck. Massive shortfall that they'd nobody to change the game on the bench and haven't had a focal point no9 for a couple of seasons. PSG should have killed it off near the end1 like

Absolutely gutted with this one. A top, humble, selfless bloke. Saw him solo / with the Alarm several times over the years. Great performer. He bravely battled blood cancers for over 30 years and set up the Love, Hope, Strength charity to encourage more people to become bone marrow donors. He also raised £££ for charities and hospitals through various fundraising activities. Been seriously ill for the last 12 months after the cancer came back again with a vengeance, yet still found time to write new music and his biography. A life well lived. If anyone deserved a knighthood he did. RIP.1 like

I think that's where there's been a bit of an issue this season, players like those two and Collins, Schon, Tutu, have been brought in with significant outlay and related hype about them helping make us 'championship ready' when there's been little in their CV to suggest that L1 isn't their ceiling. Schon and Tutu a bit harder to judge as their backgrounds/journeys have been different, but the others have done all that they've done at L1 level or, largely, below. The two outliers amongst them are Dan, who somehow played a dozen games of Premier League football, and Vic, who played 60 games in the Championship. Matete has played 8 games in Championship but hardly enough to suggest he'd elevate us in midfield and he's looked what he's been, an average L1 player. Collins wasn't exactly prolific for Forest Green or Bristol Rovers, while McAtee was bought on the back of one decent season in L1 for Barnsley. Prior to that, 4 in 26 games for Grimsby and 1 in 30 for Scunthorpe. Of course, a player can improve in an environment and structure that suits them and, in reality, it could be argued those two's numbers for us are about as good this season as can have been expected I suppose where I'm going with it is we've shelled a lot out on a host of players who aren't as good / productive as we might have been led to believe. In some cases because they've been played out of position (Vic, arguably McAtee), in others because they've turned out injury prone, and generally because they fitted into Evatt and Markham's fanciful idea of how we were going to flick and trick our way out of the Division1 like
