He's not good enough for what we need but it's like people just need a boo boy or someone to hate. Just a human being trying to be his best at what he's doing at the end of the day. Really don't get the hate or ill-feeling with him.6 likes

By the way - if we don't go up this year then I will be amazed if Max Conway is still with us next season. Super little player - looks super comfortable at this level - like an old head who has been playing there for years. And some of his work at bringing the ball forward is Bradleyesque. Probably not as quick or as forward thinking. But if we could bring through a player of his calibre every season - I'd be over the moon!4 likes

Fucking hell mate. Did you see them!!!??? Job??? Those that weren't doddering hippy leftovers from the 1960s who couldn't get one anyway were pissweed oddballs with multicoloured hair, more piercings than brain cells and dressed in Op Shop tatt with dysentery slack bottoms. Other than that fucking loon from Forest Green Rovers, who the fuck would employ them anyway?3 likes

If he hadn't been dragged back at Stockport when on for a certain goal he'd have had 5 in 7. The form of the mystical 20 goal striker. He also played a part in ACD's goal. SS was hoping after the game that the injury that forced him off isnt bad. So am I. He knows where the goals are scored and gets himself there. We haven't had his like for some years.3 likes

The dummy turn that he did near the half way line in the second half had hundreds of us going the wrong way. Breathtaking. Nightmare to play against.3 likes

Just had a look at Wimbledon's recent results. A narrow loss at Bradford and also a narrow loss at home to Cardiff. Nothing disgraceful there. A 2-0 victory over Barnsley. A good result there. Whatever their performance was today, maybe they are no mugs, and perhaps we were just quite good!3 likes

It's a strange one for sure. Especially as the modern mantra at corners is to get everyone back and pack the box as much as possible, whereas the high line we hold on free kicks leaves the box empty. I imagine the stats all show most goals are scored in the penalty box, so don't let them in there is the first thought, hence the high line on free kicks. Whereas you can't stop the ball going into the penalty box on a corner, so let's pack it with blockers. Either way, both look wrong to my untrained eye. I would always leave a player or 2 forward from corners to avoid the second phase stuff, and I'd drop the defence back at free kicks to allow the defenders to head the ball away, rather than allowing attackers to sneak through.2 likes

This might not get any traction given it could be buried, might only be for Salford residents- but if you could sign this it would be a massive boost. In a nutshell, we’re a club with fuck all, nestled in the arse crack of Salford, Bolton and to a lesser extent Wigan. Going 30+ years and constantly overlooked, more favourable areas seem to do ok… but I’m not mixing politics and football Imagine how good Joel Coleman could’ve been if he had decent facilities? Cheers guys https://northwalkdenfc.org.uk/news/campaign-a-new-home-for-north-walkden-fc2 likes

Ned head. Undeniably. You wanted off over Southgate, who did well initially, but tailed off. This bloke has had barely any time and no championship games as yet. 100% in qualifying though, yet he's shit.2 likes

This was the original info that the club put out. It also explains the replacement scheme. Hope that explains it all 👍 https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/fan-stones-launched-become-part-wanderers-home2 likes

I think the idea that the migrant issue is cultural and not political/economic is no longer the case. Millions per week. Lack of housing and consequent rent increases. Loss of jobs for hotel workers. Use of public services: NHS, dentists, power, water. These are no longer small beer, and all contribute to the feeling of unfairness and gradually resentment.2 likes

Looks like it’s being done professionally as well👍 The Town Centre is looking great now that the redevelopment and road/pavement improvements are almost complete. All after a big grant from the previous government. This must be the final cherry.😊2 likes

He is clearly going to play at a higher level. He would thrive playing alongside better players. Comfortable with the ball, moves easily, athletic, reads the game etc. Sometimes a player appears and is obviously a cut above. Doesn't mean they can't get better still, and will still have ups and downs, nevertheless virtually everyone else can see what he is.2 likes

If your striker gets a goal and an assist every game he is more than doing his job.2 likes

Will give some full match thoughts tomorrow but took the Man City "supporting" nephew and he's definitely wavering towards us. That's the main thing2 likes

It’s been clear since about minute 5 of the Stockport game that SS has put together an excellent League One team. 7 games in and I believe been the better team in all 7. Only one defeat. I’ve had us down as top 6 with a chance to push for top 2 since day one. I’ll stick my next out now and say this team will get promoted. To anyone watching rationally and putting emotion to one side, the draws were never going to continue. As this team develops and gels, we’ll go on some long unbeaten and winning runs. Any team at this level with Erhahon, Dalby, Forss, Cissoko et al on the bench, and no Dempsey, Toal or Sheehan, but still wins comfortably, is a top level league one outfit. Regardless of stupid sending offs. Some were bemoaning our lack of a 20 goal striker on deadline day! Surely you can now see we already have him. Risk is he gets called back in January. Last note. Conway. There’ll be bids for him in January! Top level player.2 likes

Hiya - just a quick note to the other late back to the seaters after half time that Wimbledon had a man sent off on 59 minutes. I managed to sit through the entirety of the second half with absolutely no idea! Had a couple of beers in the hotel before the game with a couple who had southern accents but Wanderers kits on. Turns out they were family of Xavier Simmons - and they were explaining that he feels really at home here and tells that that he feels really happy here after a tough couple of years. Just bought a house up here too apparently! 👍2 likes

It's all your incessant negative, over analytical, dour, boringly obtuse utter fucking drivel deserves. You'll never be happy. You sad little man.2 likes

Lots of folk had a go at our youth development in recent seasons, but Conway looks like a pro comfortable at this level as does Inwood and the lad Smith who stepped up - all defenders so maybe that’s our specialism?1 like

They get 5 years. The Tories got 14, and still some people who were sniffing copious amounts of glue voted for them. Like I keep asking folk, how have Labour made your life worse? Are you homeless, unemployed, eating the scabs from the weeping sores on your undernourished skin? Nah, all i see are thousands of new cars, people moving into fancy new houses and folk spending on holidays and down the shops. People don’t want to admit that life is actually decent.1 like

Surely the two are linked? If most voters are heading in a particular (perhaps unique) direction, then for them, it is the biggest issue. If it wasn't, I doubt there'd be much support for Reform, and the established parties would be battling it out over the usual factors. At the moment, even the criticisms over a lack of experience, policy etc etc aren't gaining traction. There's a general malaise over the main parties, and their abilities to deal with the regular issues too. It may all change of course, but the attacks being launched in their direction say everything about the concerns of those traditional parties.1 like

I literally posted yesterday it's far from the biggest issue. By a long way. However, it's currently the biggest vote winner.1 like

Agree Morley had a quality game both halves, and Gale a stand out 1st half, ACD the same 2nd half. But Conway again MOM for me, just oozes quality and doesn't do it in patches like the wingers, its consistent every half I've seen him play this season.1 like

Yeah, Lincoln 1st minute header goes in, Wimbledon's goes wide. Nowt to do with how we played in that respect, one opposition striker puts it in, the other doesn't. Toal's header hits the post at Barnsley, nobody there, Forino's hits the post today and it falls perfectly for Burstow. Reading was our best performance of the season for me, but the 2nd goal didn't happen and they get a deflected fluke. Its in the lap of the gods where the ball decides to go from game to game. But we'll win more than we lose with this squad in L1.1 like

Of course they do pal. If it gives just one person remembrance over a loved one then that's all that matters. You and most know that's not the case and many more appreciate what you do. Keep commemorating those that deserve. Folk like cheese would last seconds in a war. He'd be kitted up ... guns the lot. But then he'd open his mouth and start asking the enemy questions before firing. "Prove you're the Taliban" etc He might have been ok against the Germans because they're not brown.1 like

Thank you for the kind words mate 👍 Today in East Kilbride, we met the father and twin brother of a chap from the Paras and Special Forces Support Group who was killed in Afghanistan, on ops to try and rescue a journalist from the New York Times. The journalist was rescued, sadly, Corporal John Harrison didn't make it home. They acknowledged and truly appreciated what we do in remembering their son and twin brother It's what we do ♥ 🏴1 like

Always are, the whole "anti woke" and "free speech" lot are usually the biggest snowflakes of the lot. They also hate virtue signalling, and love to call it out (even when it's not there) yet are currently climbing up lampposts and hanging spray painted bed sheets, in the biggest show of virtue signalling ever.
