Just been on Facebook and there are people on their point scoring over this. 2 kids just could have lost their dad. Just no respect and both sides are at it.4 likes

Made the mistake of watching the video when I knew it was someone I shouldn't have trusted to press play on 😪 For what its worth, I couldn't be further from the lads political beliefs. But fuck me, I don't mind admitting that I just shead a tear after seeing that. The world is fucked. How has it come to such devision, even between lads I I've known since childhood, I've never seem such fall outs even just chatting in the boozer. Obviously not as bad as what's just happened, but just as sad in it's own little way as far as I can see. 😪2 likes

Their myopic bias never fails to astound me on every topic. I’d love to know if they feel embarrassed by their hypocrisy. Probably not. But it’s ok as we know they’re just playing us like a fiddle and don’t really believe any of the claptrap they trot out. Phew.2 likes

https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/25455604.bolton-wanderers-kyle-dempsey-different-comeback/ I don't normally read many BN interviews but passed a few minutes by the pool in Playa Blanca reading this, a good news story hopefully. Last chance saloon for Dempsey and I'd love him to get a run of games (bench or starts or cup games) in the next few months.2 likes

Those photos of Condoleezza Rice looking horrified as they all watched Bin Laden get terminated. Then Obama with the public address and opening with "Ladies and gentlemen; we got him". We all danced a little jig (even if just inwardly) of celebration. Not once did anyone even consider "international" law. Two sets of Islamist terrorists have their leadership taken out. One is celebrated, one is pilloried. This one may have a degree of naivety about it, because of the "bridge" Qatar was providing, but the fundamental aim is the same.2 likes

They don't "forget". They're just thick as fuck and have never thought about it for longer than it takes to read a headline.2 likes

Somehow - we've all got to get back to being human beings again and not automatically hate someone just because they disagree with yiu about politics. I saw Tim Berners-Lee being interviewed yesterday. And he was explaining the algorithms job is to keep you locked in and engaging in the content. So it will deliberately show you things to become enraged about. His argument has that this has led to a lot of the polarisation we see in society and gives us a false view of the world really is. He essentially said the Internet had been monopolised by these huge companies - all keeping us scrolling with their negative algorithms. He said it should be outlawed. Social media firms should still He able to exist but with strict guidelines around hiw their algorithms work. Banned in the same way that we banned guns. Because it's so damaging to society. Remember when Facebook was good and it really was all your friends posting stupid shit all day about what they were doing? It's NOTHING like that now. I barely see any posts from my friends anymore. It's just adverts and videos to make me start doomscrolling. Fuck that shit - I'm done with it! Let's just start being decent with each other again. I'll put my pipe down now! 😁✌️☮️🕊1 like

I used to think this..there might be one incident that finally unites America to act. It didn't happen after Sandy Hook so never will.1 like

False flag. Trump can stir up a civil war with this. And deflect attention from his failures. Only the blind wouldn’t spot this for what it is.1 like

re: driver jobs, no idea, though for me the point is techology has been replacing jobs for some time now, well before the digital era as for this bit - "AI is going to have to work overtime to sort out that shit storm." - nah, humans are, but AI will help them1 like

All well and good staying cool, but the only thing Putin understands is force. He got away with it in 2014, but not in 2022. Can't be allowed to get away with his creeping green men.1 like

You cannot take away beliefs by bombs and bullets... the only way to win a war on terror is by genocide, that child who is being radicalised needs to be taken out alongside his grandfather. Don't forget tomorrow's date and what happened afterwards in Afghanistan and beyond.1 like

Nah. When you're dealing with a death cult, no level of decent, western values will wash. Pre programmed to despise those very processes, and using them is a weakness. Quite simple really: keep your culture within your own areas, and leave it there. Do that and be left alone to take their own path to ruin. Step outside, and face the consequences.1 like

Easier to find in a smaller expanse of water. Shorter trip back to France. Could take then back anyway, ECHR or not. The French navy have been filmed escorting migrant boats away from their shores, thus facilitating organised criminal gangs. They're signatories to the ECHR too. French police official admitting they not doing much and explained they even spent the UK money on the wrong equipment. Send them back. Immediately.1 like

I didn't say it was. Have a browse on Google; you'll find references to the odd thing that crossed into Polish airspace before. Not many, just the odd thing. Which is all I said. It was a risk then, and it is a bigger one now1 like

I love watching music theory professionals experience Radiohead for the first time. I don't really have a clue what they're talking about most of the time, but I find it fascinating, and it vindicates my love of Radiohead, because even the experts think they're amazing.1 like

Hence why I stated I’ve only posted it for the image. calm down not twisted anything , just find it ironic that a bloke protesting about immigrants and the implied “ coming over here being a threat to our kids “ is himself a convicted of abusing kids. Don’t be so defensive, not everything posted is an argument against what you have said, I even stated that.1 like

I'm not sure I share this level of optimism... I think it's far more likely that 'we' will feeding off scraps because we won't have an income of any sort. I can't currently see a world where people whose jobs have been taken by AI will have any kind of help from Governments and/or the business that will profit from it at levels we have never seen before. Imagine a company like Amazon. With zero payroll. Do you think they'll suddenly find some level of benevolence, or do you think they'll continue avoid tax payments and ensure maximum profitability and wealth for a small group of share-holders at the expense of people?1 like
