He really doesn't He's dull as shite, and hardly a revolutionary in political terms, but right now we need someone who will just get on with the job, without making it all about personalities. He's a long way from perfect, but it's obvious his intentions are to try and improve the UK's situation, which is dogshit in a lot of ways right now. He's had 1 year, and deserves more. The dull cunt.

One thing about Reform which seems to be ignored by its supports on social media, is what the fact they seem to be against workers rights and want to make it like the US where you work "At will" employment... They have not been in power in Lancashire County council long and are already trying to close a retirement home near me that has a waiting list, so its not like its not needed. So I'm not seeing how they are for the working man or even the elderly.
  3. This is another example of the far right trying to hijack religion. It's becoming more and more prevalent and makes me extremely uncomfortable. The last thing we want to be importing from the states is this kind of bible belt nonsense.

Boomers are the richest pensioners Britain has ever had or likely ever will. Yet reducing a £200-300 a year bonus was greeted like we were throwing old folk on the nearest bonfire. Utterly ridiculous.

the problem is not Islam universally, it's political or extremist factions and regional communities the grooming gangs aren't black or arab muslim for example and you don't hear much about indonesian muslims or there being issues in indonesia, who I mention becase they have the largest muslim population in the world, and are quite moderate by all accounts and as i've said many times before, i've worked with plenty over the years, and not one would be described as incompatible BUT i see the isuses occuring, i can see why they are of concern, i don't know how to make the issues go away but islam is here to stay like all the other relgisions, it's not going away, and we need migration, and plenty of them will be muslim no political party here or across europe will be getting rid of extermist elements in a hurry, or keeping the locals happy about the incomings dunno really where to go with it miself

  11. we could, but we probably wouldn't just as likely to drop off a cliff like we did last season was hoping to see us sustain a challenge for the top two miself, we still can, but the away form needs to improve sooner rather than later still think we're heading in the right direction, still think we'll get better just need that away win to reaffirm my thoughts

His supporters will actively cheer it on, same as Trump being a Paedo. They'll forgive their idols anything

They don't give a single fuck about 'the working man' beyond getting his vote. It's going to be funny as fuck when the penny finally drops for their supporters.

I thought it was always means tested. Isn't £35k per annum enough to be able to afford heating? As I said, I wouldn't be against increasing the threshold tbh but I don't think every pensioner in the UK needs it.

I think Kent County Council, that they run, are talking about Council Tax increasing by the maximum of 5% next year, after promising they'd slash costs and save money. I suspect, they blindly thought they could come in and save a load of money, without properly looking into it. For what it's worth, I suspect most other County Councils, across the country, will be looking to raise by the maximum 5% as well next year, so it won't just be a Reform issue

I think the people living in the councils they run could be in for a very rude awakening in the not too distant future, sadly......

Far from a poor loan loan deal, in my opinion. Looked much more solid than other options on the left - Randell Williams, anyone - and also had a good eye for goal. He scored a cracking header against Barnsley, from a cross by Collins (on debut). He also scored a delightful chip at Carlisle, which was goal of the month and set up a 4-1 win. I always felt Evatt never gave him a fair opportunity, versus his favourites; see also Jack Iredale.
  27. We have booked on train tickets, I will be using my Senior Railcard for the first time. i assume I will also have to tell people to sit up straight, get their feet off the seats and be generally unfriendly to my fellow travellers. Not much new.
  28. The scumbag who carried out the attack is dead, and thankfully my friends go to a different synagogue so are shook up after the attack but physically ok. I'll go round and see them later in the week when I have a free day and despite my protests Mikes mum will give me far too much food as usual. These 2 fuckwits who tried to burn down the mosque with people in it need catching and locking up sharpish. Luckily no one was killed (thank Allah 😉) but to dismiss it as not a big deal or the result of muslamics being wronguns isnt on.
  29. I think it'll have at least some reputation damage if he's potted after a month I have to admit, I'm quite enjoying that wanker Marinakas' suffering - coming onto the pitch to confront his manager towards the end of last season was fucking farcical

The problem is that not all Boomers are rich. Also most Pensioners are not Boomers. My 89 year old MIL certainly is not. Changing the winter fuel allowance was 100% the right thing to do. How the Govt did it was stupid.

Gonzo and LT Aldo Raine have pretty much answered already. My gripe is mainly with the tories who repeatedly stated they were going to reduce immigration only to let it spiral.

Spot on / great post. Like it or lump it we live in a multicultural society…..and that’s never going to change (thankfully). Surely therefore it’s all about living together based on common values and UK law. The only group of people who need to be “demonised” are criminals - of any colour, religion etc. Full force of the law on these please with no mercy. Certain political parties/leaders are trying to sow divisions for their own gain by blaming and pitting communities against each other to fracture society. We see the results of this on the streets already with daily/weekly protests by one group against another. This doesn’t solve anything - just look at the US. The problem is the more moderate parties are lacking strong leadership to provide this positive vision and earn the trust again of those folks who understandably are either scared or disenfranchised with the current state of affairs. The clock is ticking.
