Don't worry, he's not injured.. Just a little anecdote from yesterday Mason Burstow has moved onto my street - I'm putting the recycling out yesterday and he's stood outside my house with his dog and his missus. As my 9yr old lad was stood by me, he's going "Dad look it's Burstow" so I shout "Nathan, sorry to bother you, please can I get a quick photo of you with my son" So he says, Course, no problem - Really friendly and happy to oblige, Spoke briefly to my son and we got the pic. I said "cheers Nathan, appreciate that mate - Good luck on Saturday" Got in the house and my son says "Dad, he's called Mason, not Nathan!" FFS I felt like a right prick!!!15 likes

He is amazing. Young lady round here suffered serious nerve damage after chemo for a brain tumour. Been following her story on Facebook where he’s taught her to walk again. Absolutely brilliant bloke9 likes

I really don't care what I get called... to old and ugly for all that malarkey. I've been sat on the fence but events like these are tipping points... never mind sticking plaster politics promising to prortect mosques in order to get votes... no railway station should be unmanned when a young lady is catching a train and we need more bobbies on the beat4 likes

Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws. I’ve found a channel on the dodgy box called Hairy and Hard? 👀 Poured another drink, put the remote in her hand and gone to bed 😂4 likes

We’re quite lucky where we live as there are a few players past and present live within a couple of hundred yards of us. Exception is that I actually remember their first names 🫣 We've got Vela, Clough (still owns it), Coleman, I believe Morley does or did, but never seen him and now Burstow (think he’s renting off Coleman while he’s in London). He was particularly buzzing for Burstow though. We all love a striker. My son and his mate had a photo with Osei-Tutu a few weeks back and were buzzing thinking it was Cozier-Duberry the little racists3 likes

Imagine being a MP and liking and sharing a post like that, then deleting it saying “it was accidental” Some thick as fuck people will believe her as well.3 likes

right, the fundraiser closed a few days ago fair to say we did a "grand" job literally we raised 1,010 from 61 donations brilliant have paid £380 for the next 12 months, leaves us with £630 which covers £380 for the following 12 months, and £250 towards the next prices might increase but not by much I wouldn't have thought we may also need some technical work done on the database/server to accomodate a forum platfrom update that is imminent, asked for a cost on this, waiting to hear back, but I doubt it will cost much will keep everyone posted anyway3 likes

They couldn't have picked a worst time. The footage of the PM sat pandering to Muslims in a mosque complete with folk in Burkas in the background. PR catastrophe. Reform folk will he laughing their cocks off. Might have been better announcing a plan to get to the bottom of why there's incidents at these places in the first place? Fuck knows but that yesterday was political suicide.3 likes

Brilliant. Ontario have ran an ad with a voiceover from Reagan telling the truth about tariffs. The corrupt orange man baby as a result has called off US-Canada trade talks. He’ll chicken out of course and they’ll be back on soon. Still, it gives him another nice distraction from today’s hot topics of: - vandalising the whitehouse east wing for his vanity ballroom project - suing his own DoJ (and US tax payer) for $250m “damages” - pardoning criminals purely for personal or political gain (George Santos, Changpeng Zhao) - threatening to send troops into SF - Being played like a fiddle by Putin - Epstein - generally being an obnoxious knob https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjrlmd4pmeo …..wonder what tmro will bring. What we are seeing is the breakdown of two party politics. Reform will only reach so far. But also, the Welsh vote is always left of centre historically. The next national election will be a watershed, the start of a new way this country has to govern. Reform won't be the biggest party bumy any stretch- thats a little dramatic, but the big beasts of party politics will both get bloody noses. The Tories got 2% yesterday- and yes its Wales - but thats not national party numbers.2 likes

I wonder if we saw 'peak Reform' at about the time of the flag protest? I still think they will do well at the next election. I just hope not as well as some of the predictions. Next time around could be one of the most interesting and meaningful races for a long, long time. Especially with a resurgence of support for the Greens.2 likes

Every one in the country is getting a little bit ahead of themselves , its as if we all believe there will a be a meaning full enquiry that will find who decided to sweep this "distasteful " episode in our cultural history under the carpet. I believe it will lean slightly towards the words of the MP Naz Shah "Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere need to shut their mouths " Member of parliament no less , multiculturalism and diversity at its finest2 likes

Playing 1D football, no alternative, getting sussed by every other manager. Mr. Angry. Ranting at our fans, mocking the idea of a 'Plan B'. Narcissistic, unstable, bullshitter. Debt ridden, bailed out, rebuild the debt. Wasting money on identikit players. Buying wingers & forcing them into wing-back roles. Tippy-tap. Bully. Putting a picture of his knob on line. They're welcome.2 likes

Clearly recommendations from the first one should have been implemented, and still should. Nevertheless, it doesn't stop the first one from being inadequate, and deliberately evasive when it came to the specific issue of these grooming gangs. Reportedly, the areas that were chosen as part of the study, (one of which was Durham) had little to no history of these serial, cultural rapes. When there is a known issue, I wonder why the efforts where deliberately hampered from the very start.2 likes

Looking at recent attacks around mosques they’re Muslim on Muslim attacks. Maybe they should fund themselves2 likes

Said the same on here a few times before. It was unique - the clapping would just resonate with the whole Burnden stand, paddock and everything. The structure itself. Just heard it do that a few times in the late 70s; but it was literally the structure, resonating. Nowt like it since. Even may times with massive crowds in that era it often never quite happened. Just summat about those few times when quite honestly, the physical stand itself joined in.2 likes

I don't care. Anyone who tries to convince flatdicks he can make their tits bigger with hypnotherapy should be sectioned. As I think about it, I should shut the fuck up. A vote for the Greens is one less for Labour. Vote Green, you know it makes sense.1 like

You really need to get a grip matey and let it go. We can see veins throbbing in your forehead from here. You can wave him bye bye in 2029. It isn't that far away.1 like

We also ended up in that end. Upper tier seats behind the terrace. I didn’t keep quiet as usual and was lucky to get out unscathed. Walking down to the ground at Blackburn for that memorable match I saw my ex Deputy Headmaster. “Hello” I said. “How are you?” “ Fine” he said. “I saw you down at White Hart Lane, in fact I was sat behind you!” 🤭 I wasn’t a Griffin type.1 like

Isn't that true of a lot of sport? If you're a sprinter you train for four years for less than 10s. He could've also taken us up automatically, or in either of the other two and a half seasons he had. Can't say he didn't have a fair go at it.1 like

Been talked about before, this one. When most Bolton fans got there, the section we'd been told to go to was already full, mostly with Spurs fans and was closed, so we had to split up & get in anywhere we could. We finished up in the opposite end & had to keep quiet & heard later that the Bolton fans who did get in the "away" bit had a hard time in there, though apparently a group from the Griffin were left in peace 😄.1 like
