  1. It's a national disgrace. Worse than any other I can think of. Remember posters even on here said it wasn't happening. I've got friends who said the same. Some still think religion or cultural differences didn't play any part. Unbelievable.

  2. Anyone saying JDC was shit today are fucking loons. Clean sheet. Got forward lots his energy is exceptional. His crossing ain’t great but we are a League One team our players are not perfect. Randel linking up with JDC to get the ball to ACD for the goal would probably annoy the folks that sit behind us. They are fucking loons.

  3. We need a Russian style media blackout on his actions.

  4. Also worth noting that his anticipation and general command of the box also prevents a lot of shots. Despite what that particular stat says he had a really good game today. He very much played his part in that clean sheet.

  5. I don't know about immense, he's an attacker and was pretty anonymous on that front. But he absolutely put a shift in. It was noticeable that we lost control of the game when he went off and we went Dalby-Burstow, then we looked much better again once Randall came on to play deeper. Not convinced by Dalby & Burstow as a pair, even though the sample size is limited.

  6. Toal was back to his best yesterday he’s not been same player after his injury, looked back to being a league one Alan Hansen yesterday, lads capable of playing further up the leagues.

  7. The bend on that shot is ridiculous. No wonder the keeper didn’t budge….

  8. Maybe a blend But definitely a reward for more on the fringes who have been working hard to get into the starting 11. Miller Christie. Forino. Forrester Taylor Morley Dempsey Randall Warren Cissoko Dalby

  9. Blackburn can stay where they are, preferably clinging on after a terrible season. I want to go to Ewood next season when we’re promoted and take over the place like the good old days, whilst we’re on the up and they’re very much on the decline!

  12. I wouldn't start both Dalbys. Just think they'd be a bit too similar.

  14. Toal’s last two performances and Schumacher’s handling of him in relation to the international break deserves special praise IMO After the nightmare he suffered in that Germany game and subsequent omission from both the NI team and our starting 11 it could have been a troubling time for Toal. But with his managers backing and fantastic attitude, his impact and leadership skills have contributed to two fantastic results. IMO that’s why it wasn’t an obvious decision that Forino would start as number 1 CB for this game. No downer on Forino he’s been great too. It’s fantastic that we have him and Forrester in wait when the opportunity arises - which IMO will be next Saturday against Huddersfield.

  17. Like so many, it's the sort of fact that has been played down or dismissed for ages. Blatantly obvious that it will have an impact, and with so many being thrust into poorer areas, it puts up rents/house prices making it even more difficult for them to get a home.

  18. So now we need some more targets to push to the next level More shots on target Consistency in the lesser games 2 points per game in a bigger chunk of games An away clean sheet Scoring away first Defending a lead away A “significant” run of positive results I don’t disagree, just as long as folk arent searching for perfection. We are never going to get all things happening every game. Optimism eh @wakey 😂

  20. Sheehan had a fantastic game yesterday. In the first 10 minutes he put in more hard challenges than anybody else on the pitch. Also agree with others regarding Cogley had a good game. It's worth pointing out that nearly all of Duberrys wonder goals have come from having an overload on his side from usually Cogley, which takes 1/2 of their players out wide and allows Dubbery to do his thing. When Gale & Erahon comes back too with Demps on the horizon we will look very strong. More clean sheets from now on too please. Still buzzing, get in!

  21. McGinlay's post-match walkaround interview with Nathan Blake is well worth a watch on WanderersTV. And Cosier-Duberry kissing the badge as he makes his way back to our half after the goal... 😍 What a fucking club. 🤍

  24. Huddersfield had the joy of the equaliser almost immediately followed by the winner. That has to be the winner for me.

  28. Cardiff are one paced and a bit boring, they didn't create one chance in 94 minutes. They ponce around with the ball nice enough, but just don't create anything. They came for a point and got fuck all. COYFWM

  29. "Along with imprisoning all drug dealers for life, withdrawing benefits from people who haven't found a job in 4 months, scrapping the equality act, leaving the World Health Organisation and legalising fox hunting" All these are batshit! As is putting the Royal Navy in the channel and them just watching the boats go by. It would cost a fortune and make us look like a laughing stock. These would all fall apart under a tiny bit of scrutiny. Surely you must have questions about the policies I've outlined above. Even if you agree with what they're trying to achieve? They just seem unworkable to me?

  32. Liverpools demise (allez, allez, allez) topped off a great weekend. Obviously our win was the main course but the missus' lot delighted at the rebound win for Napoli over what they think will be their main title rivals. The grief junkies loss was the cherry on top. Decided on a celebratory cruise up the West Coast Highway today. Spot of lunch looking out over the Indian Ocean washed down with a few beers (or night riders) to toast our sensational win. Just about over the jet lag too. Bonus.

  33. The main one of these for me, from both a points but also enjoyment perspective, is our ability to now win the ‘big’ games. Under Evatt, you could basically write off 8-12 games a season where we’d be lucky to scrape an average of 1 point per game. Under SS, I appreciate other things have been an issue but we’ve beaten Wigan twice, Huddersfield (and another under JD) and Cardiff. You don’t have to write those points off anymore, we’re as likely to win those games as not and if we’re being honest, they’re the wins that actually get us properly excited after so many years in this league. Bradford can turn up with 5,000 fans, Sarcevic and that twat Humphreys, I back us to turn them over - especially at home - whereas I’d have been dreading it last season.

  39. Taylor's a hard one to weigh up, sometimes looks a bit out of position but then gets back and gets a foot in. Got nifty feet on the ball. The lad they brought on at right wing was decent and pepped them up a bit

  40. Forss and Burstow were off today but are still quality and will both score many more goals this season. our defence apart from the free header in the first half were brilliant; Taylor got skinned though a few times when he come on

  41. I'm assuming that's big Davy Banks from Colwyn Bay and his brother Richard. They've been travelling from there, home and away, since the 80s. Chatted with them at or travelling to many an away game back in the day. If not watching us he watches "the Bay" home & away. (His late Dad Alan was born in Walkden & supported Bolton but moved to Wales in the 60s, he was secretary & director at Bay for decades till about 2000).

  42. Talking of TSL, anyone still thinks he needs to be taken out of the firing line and given a rest because his confidence is shot and none of the defence have any faith in him? 😀

  44. He's more of a traditional Conservative than most of the Conservative party. The radical aspect is Reform's approach to solving the immigration issue. Something that in one aspect Blair was stronger on than recent governments. A sign of the times.

  45. It was, but remember, that cunt Johnson purged the party of any talent as soon as he became PM, thus bringing them to where they are now. Will more MPs defect from Tory to Reform, I'm sure they will, will they improve the Reform offer! Probably not. I'm sure Farage knows he needs to make sure his Party aren't just seen as a load of Tory cast offs,so he'll have to be careful how many he allows.

  46. No. Nothing like. A sorely needed reinvigorated conservatism. You only have to look at the absolute shower of shit in charge now to know this is true. Sir Nigel to clear out the chaff/drain the swamp.
