Not the crime of the century though. Their loss, and their decision, whatever their reason. It's also a bit odd making an X post/video about it and having a bit of a pop. Just enjoy the win!6 likes

I know we have this debate/moan periodically, but why on earth would you systematically leave a game early watching Bolton at the moment? I get the one-off personal circumstances and the game-over what’s the point hanging around occasions. But leaving early every week or leaving as an expression of annoyance when the game is very much alive is just moronic. Spending your money and time to miss out on celebrating last minute winners is just bamboozling!5 likes

I can say with absolute confidence that the Royal Navy would be unable to turn any dinghies back, shoot them out of the water, or in anyway endanger the life of a single soul in a boat without severe repercussions. Only properly, genuinely thick people will think otherwise. And that is because they are completely unaware of maritime laws. Spider the Sailorman.2 likes

Fucking hell mate - I feel your frustration with that scenario. That very much falls into the category of personal circumstances dictating your decision making. We’re often coming up with a complicated 10 part plan to sort my dad out attending. The latter part usually being the opposite. Waiting till the big crowds have left and being the last out. It’s sad that fans miss out on those highs. Hopefully you won’t miss anymore this season!2 likes

Last 20 seconds and the vast majority are still in their seats a really small number come back up the vomitory. Who really carries just a good excuse the use the word vomitory.2 likes

Rather than “everyone”, I see about half a dozen people run up the steps to celebrate the goal. These people will have retired to the concourse, where you can still watch the match on TV, to allow a quick getaway. They “saw” the goal. Personally, I don’t leave my seat until the last player has left the pitch. But everyone has their own preferences. However, many of those who’ve “left early” have simply moved from their seat to the concourse TVs.2 likes

Don't worry, he's not injured.. Just a little anecdote from yesterday Mason Burstow has moved onto my street - I'm putting the recycling out yesterday and he's stood outside my house with his dog and his missus. As my 9yr old lad was stood by me, he's going "Dad look it's Burstow" so I shout "Nathan, sorry to bother you, please can I get a quick photo of you with my son" So he says, Course, no problem - Really friendly and happy to oblige, Spoke briefly to my son and we got the pic. I said "cheers Nathan, appreciate that mate - Good luck on Saturday" Got in the house and my son says "Dad, he's called Mason, not Nathan!" FFS I felt like a right prick!!!2 likes

Martin O'Neill in, he's 73 now. Probably while Ange recharges his batteries.1 like

The difference is that Cardiff - joint top scorers in the league and one of the best defences - compelled SS to do something different which was for the whole team to defend instead of piling forward. Everyone tracked back, everyone put tackles in and that is exactly why we weren’t under much pressure. Defending ain’t just the back line blocking and heading - on Saturday most attacks were repelled before they got anywhere near our goal. Whether SS sets up like that every game remains to be seen but I doubt he will - it’s just good to know we can do it.1 like

Because the club was supposed to pay for them when building the stadium as part of the planning conditions. So the planners made the decision during and since the build to let wanderers get away with not spending the money.1 like

I’m sticking with what I said at the beginning I.e. that nobody is running away with it this season as all the teams are a challenge this year - and I guess that means the title is there for the taking. Saturday’s results showed it and they really helped us close the gap. But more importantly Schumacher has made changes for the better - he’s shown we can defend well and we’ve started to score more goals than the opposition which is a lot better than looking good and not winning. Keep up the performance level and there’s no reason that we can’t wind up at the top come the end of the season.1 like

We could save some money by asking them to bring a packed lunch. Or ask David Lammy to bring some to work with him?1 like

I missed the goal on Saturday and to be honest I'm still not over it Couldn't get on the hotel car park before the game. They'd allocated way too much space for the Cardiff coaches, loads of space redundant. My old man can't walk from any other car park, so I dropped him at the hotel doors and drove over to Scott's. I did this for the Wigan game and it took me over an hour just to get off Scott's carpark nevermind the ridiculous bottle neck past the police station. That meant my old man and Lad were sat there for well over an hour while I fought through traffic to pick them up at the hotel. Couldn't face that again so I left on 88. I was fucking raging. It still took me ages to get to them. They'd managed to get to the entrance of hotel carpark, I turned in and picked them up and that carpark was gridlocked too and their coaches hadn't even moved yet so I lost my shit and went back out the no exit on to De Haviland way. I'm probably going to get a fine now as well. I didn't speak all the way home1 like

Oh yes it'll be more than the estimated amount we can't seem to deliver massive projects in this country without going way over budget. Spending around £2m a week to maintain the place as it is isn't sustainable so something needs doing1 like

After some research there has been no agreement on refurbishment plans for parliament. Moving everyone temporarily out is estimated to cost between 7-13 billion and be the quickest method. The longest and most expensive option is trying to work round folk whilst they're still in there and could cost 22bn across up to 70 years. https://www.architectsjournal.co.uk/news/new-search-for-palace-of-westminster-design-team-set-for-20261 like

It's just another example of how you can't trust a word Trump says. As for our HoP I'd have thought. £20bn could build about 4 new ones, how they've agreed to spend that much is bizarre.1 like

Do you really give a shit? And no we’ve not pulled a 3rd of Parliament down yet spending is going to cost 20 Billion (yes that’s a B )1 like

Not pulled down a third of it to build something new after saying it'll all be left untouched though have we? Not arsed about him building a ballroom plenty of presidents have added things to the Whitehouse over the years. The bullshit and bluster around it is what deserves calling out. Had he said the entire East wing of the Whitehouse would have to be pulled down from the start he would have faced more resistance to his plans.1 like

Said it many times.. sell it off to Alton Towers, make it a tourist attraction with holograms of Churchill, Cromwell and Guy Fawkes. Spend the money on a purpose built parliament next to the NEC with living quarters1 like

An interesting debate this. Use public money and it's a waste. Use private money, and it's mates etc that just want to buy favours and preferential treatment. Folk bitched when a private doner paid to have no 10 (or was it an adjacent flat) decorated. Same would have bitched had they used tax payers cash. Can see arguments both ways, but it becomes a no-win situation. On the face of it though, it does seem a bit of historical vandalism to the Whitehouse! We'll have to see what the end result is.1 like

I am also a big fan of both SS and Firino, but i think reinstating Toal has been a good move. We are certainly still a team that is learning his ways and we have a very young inexperienced team. Burstow blows hot and cold but he is learning his trade. ACD would be getting slaters on here if the games ended bang on 90mins. We will get games like Burton simply because we are a team in transition. I am sure this team is only at 60/70% potential and will improve as the season goes along1 like

Cardiff are one paced and a bit boring, they didn't create one chance in 94 minutes. They ponce around with the ball nice enough, but just don't create anything. They came for a point and got fuck all. COYFWM1 like

So many interesting comments JDC was shit, yet he was involved in keeping a clean sheet and got the assist for the goal. Sheehan amazing, when he was just good and has had far better games. We were lucky, yet we created many opportunities against the tightest away defence in the league and scored the first goal in open play they have conceded away from home. We played well, defended well, kept going and scored an amazing goal. We kerp building on this and the Huddersfield result and we can do this.1 like

If Sheehan doesn't take another corner in his career I'll be happy. He's woeful at them and instead a great option to have on the edge of the box for a shot if it's cleared out. Corners aside I thought he was excellent. Did a lot of tough tackling and using the ball really well. The issue today was Forss wasn't really on it so there was no infield option for him to play to. On the game as a whole, I thought we were better than Cardiff but we seemed to be in a no risk mode so crossing opportunities and throw ins into their box were constantly being rejected. Little bit more adventure and I think we win today much more easily as we were better than them all over the park1 like

What a fucking day!!! 6 of us who left school 43 years ago in LOV on the ale at 11am. Was a good day but that goal topped it off and made it summat else McGinlay/Blake in LOV was decent entertainment Cardiff were nowt special. Decent in the tackle but if that’s top of the league then it says a lot about this division We were nice, as usual, but end product wasn’t there until…… Bastard cold but glad of the sun on my first time on the East side (apart from the charity game) Stewards vs Cardiff over the segregation netting was fucking funny at the end Cant be arsed picking holes in who did or didn’t do what. 5 pints of Brewdog Black Heart and a slice of toast all day, with a 94th minute winner, and I’m like a pig in shit1 like

We’re quite lucky where we live as there are a few players past and present live within a couple of hundred yards of us. Exception is that I actually remember their first names 🫣 We've got Vela, Clough (still owns it), Coleman, I believe Morley does or did, but never seen him and now Burstow (think he’s renting off Coleman while he’s in London). He was particularly buzzing for Burstow though. We all love a striker. My son and his mate had a photo with Osei-Tutu a few weeks back and were buzzing thinking it was Cozier-Duberry the little racists1 like

right, the fundraiser closed a few days ago fair to say we did a "grand" job literally we raised 1,010 from 61 donations brilliant have paid £380 for the next 12 months, leaves us with £630 which covers £380 for the following 12 months, and £250 towards the next prices might increase but not by much I wouldn't have thought we may also need some technical work done on the database/server to accomodate a forum platfrom update that is imminent, asked for a cost on this, waiting to hear back, but I doubt it will cost much will keep everyone posted anyway1 like
