  2. that's just going to make the situation "worse" whoever is in charge really needs to get this sorted asap to a satisfactory level because this is the tip of the iceberg i reckon if they don't

  3. People seem to forget these 'gangs' involve some massive companies, agencies, folk with vested interests making some absolutely massive money. Reckon Serco and their investors want the boats stopping? It's one giant corrupt racket.

  4. Its the first football shirt I've bought in about 20 years but it seems to fit like normal. Sleeves are elbow length rather than short tshirt style, I dont know if that was a feature on the original kit. I like it. Not the most breathable though, I'd say 😃

  5. Vietnamese migrants to be returned under new deal with UK | Politics News | Sky News https://share.google/koudZFUkjWcsfxAKt Now this is the kind of shit that will help. Last year Vietnamese topped the charts. You know, war torn Vietnam. Deals like this will go a long way. A similar deal helped stave the flow of Albanians.

  9. I know it’s possibly still a bit of a trek from your seat @gonzo, but have you had a look at getting a parking pass on the disabled car park immediately behind the North Stand? Might even be able to use that to get a head start in the traffic and pick your dad up on the banana road although I’m not sure how frowned upon that is these days. I spend every home game praying it doesn’t piss down but have spent the last couple of seasons parking near the Royal Oak on the A6 and it’s been a game changer in terms of getting home at the same time every week. The retail park was getting worse with every match, although we do still tend to park on there for the midweek games.

  10. I'd have done the same, effectively, by changing my name by deed poll to Cuntface The Dolphin, and standing for the "Dolphin (Cuntface)" party. The brackets are important as they cut out any ambiguity. The electoral commission people come down on that sort of thing like a ton of bricks. I've got a deposit to save, when all is said and done. Main policies on the issues of the day: Green: mitigate the visual blight of vast solar energy farms by building them underground. Law and order: Prison sentence for anyone found in possession of a skateboard or electric scooter/bike. Scandals and public trust: Prince Andrew to be given official residence at the old Pontins site at Ainsdale. Now, the lad has to make a living, so he gets the deckchair concession. Fair is fair; but he has to be chaperoned. Health: Henry Westons cider to be available on the NHS. Once in power, me and my cabinet (or should I say pod) will make Britain great again. Oven ready but not tuna friendly. I'm anyone's for a bit of hake. We'll be reeling in the floating voters before you can say "Fishy Sunak". "I have a bream"....that'll be me slogan, oh yes. Vote Dolphin (Cuntface)! The only party fit for porpoise.

  11. Seriously, don’t bother. I’ve taken a step back from this thread (and others to be honest). I don’t post that much and feel better for it. Certain people gradually shutting down this part of the message board. It’s sad to see if I’m honest. You can’t have a sensible / rational debate or discussion when you’re trying to debate with entrenched ignorance / stubbornness / tribalism. When all else fails, they’ll find a typo.

  12. I reckon you should watch the news occasionally. Given that both labour and tory mps have spent much time attacking them, I'm surprised you didn't know.

  13. Same script as Raynor. Seemingly throwing her advisors/agents under the bus. Starmer's human shield ministers is gradually collapsing, while he remains (tries) Teflon. He used his largely female entourage as a protective group of "attack dogs" in opposition, whilst putting himself up as the sqeaky clean future PM who would clean up Westminster. There will be no executive left at this rate- potential for a vote of no confidence in him and his government. As above, there is a risk of Reform peaking too soon, but I think they have chosen to go early on their on their policies etc as they see the potential for an early eelction. They weren't supposed to come out with so much, so soon, but are doing. Maybe a risky strategy. Maybe Conservatives may have a sudden increase, but surely it is too far to come back from. Even if the vote is split, there is still every chance of a coalition led by Reform.

  23. We can’t stop them. It’s as simple as that, we can’t turn them around, we are stuck with them. France will happily take 100s of millions off us whilst promising to help out when in reality they do fuck all. Looks like being an island is working against us! Go figure.

  32. They’re in the process of building a new link road at the far end of the retail park, aren’t they? Think the aim is to take some pressure off the roads in to Horwich One traffic grumble I’ve definitely got is that there should be a pedestrian crossing across the northbound motorway junction. Absolute miracle nobody has been killed trying to cross there after a game.

  33. You sound pleased. He achieved a hell of a lot in getting what he did. It is down to those in the conflict to ensure the ceasefire is adhered to. Not surprising that some strikes have happened, we all thought it would again at some point, nevertheless some positive strides have been achieved. Especially if it facilitates the expansion of the Abraham Accords as was happening beforehand.

  37. If you let Scott’s traffic turn right you are just moving a bottle neck, anyone coming off the main car park would be stuck for longer, including the buses. We were late v Wigan and parked in a different spot on main car park , took over an hour to get away. Saturday was 10 minutes. Given the club have abdicated all responsibility for the car parks can not see them spending money moving stuff around. Last home game V Peterboro one of the barriers coming off the main car park was down so halving the number of exit roads The only realistic solution is to put on more and affordable buses that are given priority leaving. For those of us living outside Bolton won’t help but getting more people to use buses and reducing cars would make a difference but this would cost £££s.

  40. Spent the day in Wigan, went for a small run. Highlights were two blokes keeping each other up pissed as farts at 4pm, one lady shouting at a broken down house, a fella clutching a can of cider whilst i was a crossing.. "You not got a coat" "Nah, just going for a run" "Why?" Made me laugh. But got off the train at 12.30, about 4 blokes outside the cornershop all with cans of stella, all stinking of weed, must have be much younger than me. I dunno, @gonzo is right, Im anured to this sort of stuff probably, if this is daily life - or living with it - its very different from when I left home. Doesnt mean the North isnt still the best of this country but every time all I see is these towns being let down again and again by every government - and then the grifters of reform move in, and to be honest its easier to feel these lies when it's not effecting your life. But tomorrow, Ill be at Wigan's only awarding winning theatre company who have sold out their full run and are now transferring to London - on the basis of creating stuff from here. On thursday im making my small part in tranferring a small show from the North East into the west end - to prove our stories needs to be heard and its not just public school kids that have a voice. But yes, it proper made me think about the differences in our island and how much the North has been fundementally let down over generations.

Randel linking up with JDC to get the ball to ACD for the goal would probably annoy the folks that sit behind us. They are fucking loons.
