If your first thought about those who carried out the attack wasn't Muslim terror attack you're lying.4 likes

Not wishing to be a smart arse or pedant, which I quite clearly am, this is a common misconception. Most don’t actually suffer from mental health problems but from personality disorders such as psychopathy or sociopathy. They are different. My eldest, who is a psychologist, explained this to me a while ago The important things here is when it goes to court. The defence may say that the accused “couldn’t help it” due to mental health issues. The prosecution, with the aid of a psychiatrist and psychologist will call bollocks demonstrating the thought processes, planning, etc that went into an attack. Playing the mental health card is getting ever more difficult with better diagnosis I’ll be following this case because of the above. Interests me just because of my daughter’s chosen career path3 likes

Must just be me, maybe all the killings carried out by Muslim extremists are in some way skewing my view when other mass casualty events take place. Back in the 80’s and 90’s, any bombings or similar events and I’d be there thinking “oh, it’s those religious nutjobs squabbling over some bogland in Ireland” like some sort of bigot. All that’s changed here is the religion. Maybe if there weren’t so many Islamic attacks I’d start to assume the vaccine or 5G masts were sending folk round the bend.3 likes

Fair enough on not betting but have you ever waked a dog ? Today’s conversation- nice and sunny is nt it ? But still cold , Sue who used to work in Sainburys said ‘bloody freezing’ , we then met a 10 month old puppy called Esther and later another puppy called Patch, the conversation was ‘how old is yours ? What is he/she called’ then no worries when they jump up. There was a bit of controversy as the junior rugby club were training in a different place where people walk their dogs. So we went another way. My missus then talked me through her working day yesterday so a diversion onto any other subject would have been welcome. We did discuss skin colour briefly but this was only debating if skin colour had any impact of the juiciness of orange peelers. Then we did a small shopping list. No mention made of any subject relating to current affairs. As I was intent on reporting back I actually had to listen all the way round. Please do not put me through that again.3 likes

Dempsey is a winner and as most games in this league are a battle, if he stays injury free is like a new signing for us.3 likes

A lot of praise being given to our players today and rightly so. But Randall; he gets stick around where I normally sit and sat in a different tier today, the criticism seems the same. He always goes for the safe pass. He is weak and backs out of challenges. He messes up when the big chances fall to him. The one from 6yds out in the first half was typical, he topped it into the deck. There was also an occasion where ADC did his high speed dumy and dribble and he passed it to Randall, where time stood still in contrast. I believe we are in a rich vein of form and we have some good players and a deep squad. But I think we've all seen enough of Randall to make an informed decision. He's a weak link, was expensive and if we can loan him or move him on in January that would be good business.3 likes

Brilliant that you felt you could share stuff on here pal x It's really hard for people to understand who don't suffer stuff like this to the same level where it's like a proper diagnosed condition. Bit like folk thinking migraines are just day headaches or anxiety/panic attacks are just feeling a bit wooshy after a coffee. Although it's ace issues are now diagnosed and it's much more socially acceptable to seek help, it's opened up the market, for want of a better expression, to folk who think they've got clinical depression when their dogs just died or Bolton have lost. There's levels. I'm glad you seem at peace with stuff anyway pal. Fuck every fucker else anyway.3 likes

I spent them climbing trees, playing football, watching cartoons, and messing around on computer games. Stuff like that. I definitely didn't spend them sitting around contemplating terror attacks, you absolute bullshitter.2 likes

Nice avoidance. We know nothing of the motive yet. I pray it's not an Islam thing, that's the last thing we need right now. This shit carries on and we will have Big Nige in, and that's no good for anyone.2 likes

Aye, just because you cause terror doesn't mean it's 'terrorism'. For it to be terrorism it needs to be part of something bigger. Anyway, it's a lovely day today so I'm assuming @Tonge moor green jackethas been out for a nice, long dog walk. I wonder what the topics of conversation were today.2 likes

Maybe why you do not have a gun mate ? Earlier this week you would have shot someone for saying ‘crikey’ 😂 Even if they had guns not sure shooting folk on top of a can with no visible weapon would be good. The Police as RW said were just milling around waiting for the prick to get down. Be better chucking few rashers of bacon on there as it got hotter, get him down and make tea at the same time 👍🥓2 likes

Watching goals at breakneck speed on the TNT "highlights" show, I noticed Blackpool look like theyve switched sides for the main camera angle. Funny how you notice stuff like this when you've been hooked up to a TV football drip for 30 odd years 😃2 likes

I think Dempsey and Randall are very different types, Dempsey being energy, tackling and running and perfect for a more open or direct passage of play, whilst in theory at least, Randall is supposed to use tight control and short passing to unlock a packed defence - but for me he hasn’t quite done it often enough yet and Forss or even McAtee have been better at it. With Cissoko, I think he is attack minded, but doesn’t do the defensive side well whereas I’ve noticed eg ACD getting back more and getting tackles in recently. Of the wide men, I think Cissoko is the weakest defensively and I think SS has been asking more of the wide men in that respect - which has coincided with our improved results. When Hudds started playing in the second half we looked far more vulnerable on that side even though the cross for their goal came from our right (but I put that down to Miller going walkabout and it shouldn’t have happened) As for Cardiff, I reckon our defensive performance for 85 minutes against a very good team was as outstanding as the goal.2 likes

He’s had multiple opportunities both starting and from the bench. He is surrounded by very good players behind him, on the wings and upfront. His contribution has been practically nothing. His standards are that low that he’s now being praised for ‘getting in good positions’. Anyone could drop in between a midfield and defence, but it’s useless if you do absolutely nothing with it. He has no speed, no strength, no ability to take anyone on, I’ve seen no evidence of him being able to find a good pass or put someone through, he’s too weak to shoot with any conviction.2 likes

Reading different reports on the number of attackers, some saying one some saying 2. Either way another shocking incident on our shores. Question is what can be done? I’m struggling to think of anything. I feel These random attacks will always be a problem now.2 likes

I use that line a lot too, saw a lot of non UK based social media saying it happened in London. Close enough, hey? Must have been absolutely terrifying on there, not the most spacious as it is and with what was probably complete chaos going on. If someone's coming down that aisle attacking people and everyone is scrambling to run the other way, dread to think.1 like

No one mentioned strangers, so why did you? I also said it readily came up in general conversation, rather than any specific chat. You seem to be having difficulties with some basic sentences, but you're not the only one. Then again, if it doesn't suit to read about truthful anecdotes, then it is quite typical that you and others make things up. Basic lies. It's a common tactic used by so many on the 'left'.1 like

Thanks for getting us (me) back on track. I think this is a really good opportunity for Inwood to show what he offers. Despite their lowly position, Aldershot Town are the 4th highest scorers in the National League, with 29 goals. They clearly carry a threat going forward. Their problem is at the back, where they’ve conceded 35 goals: 2nd highest in the league. If Inwood can help shore up this defence, Aldershot could move up the league very quickly. An opportunity to shine, and make a name for himself.1 like
