Here we go - some blame the board material to get the moaners back in the game 🤣 I’m genuinely gobsmacked that some folk are getting so upset about this, even more so that we would fast forward and make a forecast that this could cost us promotion! For Gods sake, embrace the occasion, be prepared to turn your voices up, out-sing the yorkies and have a bit of faith in SS and the boys that they will rise to such an occasion. I’m really looking forward to it COYFWM 👏11 likes

True Patriots - the going gets tough and they bail overseas. Rule Britannia, or run from Britannia 🏴 Hopefully not going to somewhere like the Costa Blanca or Costa Del Sol 🇪🇺 I wouldn’t want to be in the trenches with you chaps. I’m glad the rest of your generation were made of sterner stuff and protected this wonderful country. GSTK 🇬🇧5 likes

Absolutely,.....if we could sell the tickets to Bolton fans, of course we should have done but since we still haven't sold out our tickets, it's a pointless argument. We're not tinpot fucking Blackpool who prefer to have 2000 empty seats rather than sell them to away fans ( & are no doubt turning away a decent amount of money in doing so !! ) I like big away followings, it creates a big game atmosphere , & if we're scared of their fans giving them an edge when we outnumber them 4 to 1, it would show that we have some low quality fans who would rather whine & complain than support the team. Me, I can't wait & look forward to seeing them streaming out 15 minutes before the end !!3 likes

Not World Cup but, for me, nothing beats watching Stelios celebrate Greece winning the Euros, while carrying his young son, who was wearing a Wanderers top. ❤️3 likes

I was a lot younger but I was proud as fuck seeing McAteer at the WC in 94, then Frandsen in 983 likes

That’s the best bit of Bolton news we’ll hear today 👏 He’ll be fit and fresh for the biggest game he’ll be involved in this week. Hope they’ve given Luxembourg 5000 tickets, he could do with finding out how to cope in front of a big away following.2 likes

Yep. This. Adding BOTH Irelands. Much as I like Sheehan I do not want to see Wales in the WC finals.2 likes

Disappointing. Hoping they get Italy in the playoff. Is it only myself who is a Denmark and North Macedonia supporter this week? Ireland, Scotland and Wales all at home watching England play in Canada/Mexico/US the best result for me.2 likes

“Speaking in the House of Commons, Mahmood said: "If we fail to deal with this crisis, we will draw more people down a path that starts with anger and ends in hatred." Under the plans, refugee status will become temporary, guaranteed housing support for asylum seekers will end and new capped "safe and legal routes" into the UK will be created.” Hard to disagree with any of that let’s see what happens next1 like

Can’t be true. @London Wanderersays he’s desperate for them not to be released.1 like

Both are possible together: annoyance and positivity. The comment about not selling out "home" tickets misses the point, as you say, no need to give anyone a helping hand.1 like

If there was correlation between the number of away fans and results we'd be top of the away league table. We've won once in 7 and that was thanks to two goals in the 93rd minute.1 like

Aye I can't wait. Proper big match feeling. I just don't get the decision. I'll still be there and still moaning on here at 7pm when I'm still sat on carpark1 like

I caught a bit of United v City when Rooney scored that bicey the other day. Like you say it's s different sport. End to end, mad challenges, wingers flying down the wing whipping balls in and no VAR in sight.1 like

Blackpool gave Stockport a full allocation last season then there chairman said never again after a partisan atmosphere. Another place were we get a ahit allocation like the rest of the clubs in 3 quarter full stadium but instead of following suit when they come ro ours no doubt we will give them 4 to 5 k1 like

Pretty much were I'm at really. I get the annoyance, why would you give them a "helping hand" with so many, but I'm really looking forward to it as a good test. Let's see how we get on against a good team infront of a bumper crowd. I fancy us to make a statement win.1 like

At that age the body is still developing, growing and changing by the day. Hormones and all kinds of shit whizzing about. Everyone thinks 15 year old lads are just lazy fuckers but theres that much stuff going off in the body it leaves nothing left. Hence they can bed down like a hamster for 12 hours a time Its even worse for girls.1 like

Bjarki. Can't find any record of him being on trial with us. Whilst searching, I stumbled across this article about Denilson nearly signing for us in 2009, which I never knew about. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/person/i-was-given-a-locker-and-a-parking-spot-after-a-trial-at-bolton-but-the-next-day-they-told-me-the-manager-had-opted-for-another-player-instead-i-still-dont-fully-know-why-it-fell-through-denilson-on-almost-signing-for-bolton And it's literally been covered by Bolton News in the last 20 minutes. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/25627566.ex-brazil-star-denilson-bolton-wanderers-move-failed/1 like

That is correct. He missed a couple of matches and was a sub as he came back from injury. However, he was in the starting lineup for the final, highlighting how key he was to that team.1 like

Another video from the 1978/79 season against Liverpool and another defeat , bizarre to think we drew twice with them the following season AND got relegated.1 like

I believe that BBC News are. Their Gaza coverage totally and utterly biased. Their fake news attempts to damage Trump. It goes on. There has been a litany of 'errors', 'apologies', 'debacles' for a long time now. Needs the shit expelling from its bowels before it can be trusted again.1 like

The last goal of that clip summed us up. Ball up to SKD , his arms all over the defender , pin point header across to CYL and celebrate. Life was simpler in those days.1 like

To be fair, I am sure some landlords will sell up before as they don't want the added hassle post May 26. But you can bet your arse with the current rent market others will buy those and rent them out again, not all sure but plenty. There are loads of great landlords but also loads of cunts and the rules are well overdue reform.1 like

Or someone attending a fund raiser for Sinn Fein , although someone attending an event to raise money for a terrorist organisation is slightly different than politicians meeting after the ceasefire or earlier to discuss how to end the troubles. So to be clear Trump attended a fund raiser for the IRA, apparently did not contribute on the night. So he would rather be known as a free loader than a terrorist sympathiser. Personally if invited to a fund raiser for terrorists I would say no. Just avoids any confusion.1 like

I posted about this in the politics thread in response to a 'politician' suggested some children diagnosed with ADHD were just "nuisances" and that the root cause of the illness was "bad parenting" Iva also been being treated for anxiety for the past 20 years. I'm not going to lie, it was really hard for me to type this, put it out in the public domain and it's been hard to tell certain members of my family due to how people think it's a made up disease, when I know how much I've suffered with it. I got diagnosed with it about 6 weeks ago, I'm 40. It's a ridiculously complex illness with a lot of symptoms. I have the issues with concentration and it's not about effort I can force myself to read the same page of something 40 times and not have actually read it because my brain is having a chat with itself about something else, just one example. Another one is I can get hyper focused on one thing to worry about and it can go on for weeks. Just a couple of examples. The meds have been great but not without their issues and I can to a lot of stuff I couldn't on the past. I was given the QB test and scored in the 98th percentile of people suffering with ADHD meaning my performance in that specific area (inattention, impulsivity, or activity) was higher than 98% of people in the age and gender-matched control group. Which is quite a relief because I have actually been fired from jobs from not concentrating and making stupid mistakes or getting overwhelmed and my brain shutting down, regardless of how hard I had been trying. I've been titrating on Elvanse and its been hard. Oddly, I actually was able to sleep on it during its peak effects, which is funny as its basically speed! But its helping my concentration which has been a godsend. Oh and I don't claim PIP nor do I have any intention of doing even though with comorbid anxiety I could. I work full time and have a degree.1 like
