I’m new to suffering from anxiety & stress, began about 18 months ago, work related, anyhow I basically hardly slept for 18 months, ended up wife had to sleep in the other bedroom as I was tossing & turning and cursing all night. I hate taking medication so after seeing doctor she gave me some pills anyhow read the side effects and thought fuck that, carried on working through with little sleep luckily my job ain’t physical. I spoke to a few people and read on here folk who recommended sertraline, looked into what it was and thought what it does makes sense and might help. I am a couple of months in taking it and sleeping really well anxiety while not perfect is better, wife moved back in to the bedroom and things are much better. Sertraline helps preserve the serotonin which is a big factor in sleep and mood. Anyhow the upshot of 18 months anxiety is I’m 10kilos lighter🤣 Thought I’d share this as it might help some folk. Also I recommend this chap. https://nickwignall.com/morning-anxiety/9 likes

I quite like the fa cup. All those "white hot" games weren't simply flashes in the pan, but part of building towards something even better. We've done nowt in the competition for ages, and we'd all like a big scalp occasionally. Winning on Tuesday would be fantastic, but it wouldn't erase this. Winning several away games soon might show that it wasn't something to get too concerned about, but it will make Tuesday's game that bit more difficult. Fans will be demanding better, and for the amount they're spending to attend away games, they ought to be getting better value.6 likes

Don’t weaken, keep positive even when we lose, kids pick up on negativity…. My lads 21 and hes in Naples watching Napoli tomorrow, sent him picture after the match of me having cup of tea in my BWFC cup and message saying keep the faith. Messaged me back saying love you Dad.6 likes

Theyve certainly benefited from side-stepping that shit today! I was questioning earlier this week whether Tuesday might be too soon for Erhahon to start a league away game, now I’m not so sure! The one thing I will say after seeing the game live today, for me, it was more the combinations that stood out as being poor. - Toal as LCB, next to Forino - That Midfield trio - Taylor behind Gale - Randall behind Dalby Some of those individuals with different players around them/next to them will go on to have good games for us this season. Schumacher needs to make sure we don’t see some of those combinations again this season!6 likes

On the face of it the league campaign benefits from lack of cup complications but this is shocking. Indeed our overall away form is concerning and this is not wholly out of keeping with some previous performances on the road. Tuesday night at Mansfield is what counts now. Big reaction needed. I would pair Erhahon and Simons with Dempsey ahead of them, bring back the first choice full backs and perhaps even give Forss a chance as central striker. For today though - hang your heads in shame BWFC.6 likes

getting beat 4-0 is not a overreaction...The 11 players Swindon turned out will be on 50% of what our team was on.....This will go down like the stoke and Scarborough games4 likes

Making no excuses but this was a bang in form Swindon team under Ian Holloway. Possibly the worst manager ever to send a mixed bag team of reserves, returning players and fannies into. He'll have them bang at it. Think our man underestimated them. Or our players out there did.4 likes

I get those saying they don't care about the cup or SS will sort it out for Tuesday. Fine. But we are also allowed to be annoyed about this result in isolation. If we'd won a league game at home 4-0 we would be revelling in that result, not saying "its only any good if we don't balls it up next time out". So we can complain about the collective failure today even if we win 5-0 at Mansfield. Its not beyond the realms of possibility to turn up and compete in 2 away games in 4 days. It doesn't have to be one or the other, incredibly there will be teams that won in the cup today that also win on Tuesday (Swindon probably). We'll be buzzing if we win at Mansfield, but it won't erase today's result from our records, its up there with any bad cup defeat in our history and its doesn't make it OK if we happen to win the next game.4 likes

3 players have to start every week, Erahon, Simon’s and Dempsey… those 3 start we won’t lose many. I’d hope Schumacher realises that.3 likes

At that moment, everyone was beating Huddersfield. They were at their respective rock bottom. Oldham’s reserves don’t count in my opinion. I don’t class that competition as competitive. I’m slowly coming round to the idea that we’re just not anywhere near as good as we think we are, or hope to be. Some disappointing performances and results recently and we’ve got almost everyone available3 likes

Bang on this. Some of the outrage is borderline insane and frankly for the birds. But we can't pretend that it's all OK. It was more than pretty shit. Whatever went on today needs nipping in the bud pretty sharpish.3 likes

All about Tuesday, fuck the cups unless the fixture is being played at Wembley. Big reaction required as the away form continues to be pitiful. Let’s hope we don’t see that middle 3 together anytime soon. Everyone called it.3 likes

Always a balance to be had. Of course some rotation is necessary to protect players from fatigue/injury- sports science helps identify when they're at risk. Not sure that rotation, just for the sake of it isn't always the best idea. Partnerships take time to form, and for some being in and out is more of a frustration than for others. Take today for example: both Dempsey and Erhahon have had injuries and are coming back. Nevertheless, surely they could have managed a half each (or thereabouts). Keep them ticking over. Chances are that only one will start the next game anyway, so why not give both some time today. Forss is another one- he isn't always a league starter, and shouldn't be fatigued. He could have played today, having scored in the week, and maybe a group of games is what he needs. One thing is certain- today we knew a strong Swindon side would be up for a potential upset (albeit not a huge one) but we started with a number of invertebrates, and never seemed to have much control. OK, had we equalised with the first half chances we did have, then who knows, but for me the manager has to take some responsibility. For me, the midfield sets the tone of the game, and when they're not at it, the defence becomes exposed and the attack more sporadic and inconsistent.2 likes

This really is the big difference between Evatt and Schumacher so far. Evatt won when we were supposed to win, pretty much routinely (cups aside) and we racked up points against your Shrewsburys and Northamptons. But then we fell apart in any local derby or top 6 clash (home or away). Whereas Schumacher has us fully up for the big games, and they feel like proper events that we could win or draw rather than the write off under Evatt. But we've lost all that consistency of picking up points at the small grounds away against teams we should be beating2 likes

Agreed on Randall (without having seen anything of today) but not sure how he gets grouped together with McAtee? I'd say the opposite, McAtee hasn't been given enough time this season, his lack of game time in the league is surprising given his scoring ratio in the last 16 months, and general impact, compared to Randall, Dalby, Forss etc.2 likes

Hard to disagree on that. At least 2 of those 3 if we're just going with 2 in midfield. With 3, then Sheehan too. Although not always the case, far too often with Morley and Sheehan together, the lack of bite is evident. As much as he is sort of "one of our own", Morley isn't cutting it, and doesn't look like making himself un-droppable. As for Randall, we'll fancy putting him in front of those 2 midfielders.2 likes

We did actually win a difficult away game at Huddersfield, thrashed Oldham with half a team and last week was a decent point, so in theory there were signs we were improving away, Mansfield needs to be a showing that builds on that and consigns today to an unpleasant little memory.2 likes

Not arsed about losing, not got money on us to win the fa cup But that's a bad result all things considered, we're shite away2 likes

It’ll be interesting to hear schumachers after match interview… when he selects a team that looks poor on paper that’s how it pans out on the pitch. He’s had a few shocking team selections this season.2 likes

I personally wasn't arsed before kick off about this game but to get thumped 4-0 is fucking woeful. SS needs to use this game as a wake up call for all concerned.2 likes

I'm genuinely glad we have Mansfield away in just a couple of days time. Give these fuckers a chance to put it right. It's all well and good playing in our fantastic stadium and pitch in front of 22,000 every week. But we simply have to show up away from home at these tight grounds. Until we do so, we will forever remain in League 1.2 likes

Good to hear mounts. But whatever you do - and I am speaking from personal experience - DO NOT just stop taking them at some point, even if you feel the best you've ever felt. Coming off them needs to be properly controlled, as the withdrawal symptoms can be fucking mad.2 likes

Saw Eddie Halliwell was at Fabric last week. Ace set. Think it's like when lads stop playing footy in their 30s as they've got families and commitments then in reach mid 40s and think fuck I'm old and start playing for a vets team2 likes

That's my issue with all this bollocks just do the draw there's no need to suck off the supreme leader of one of the host nations. Not sure the Qatari leader or Putin got so much pomp and ceremony to massage their ego. And with the other 2 leaders being relatively ignored it just made FIFA look bad.2 likes

My old mate is 14 and a 1/4 and as deaf as a post. Nothing can be done for his hearing. He has some arthritis in his shoulder and is on yu move for that. He is stiff as a board in a morning but still manages and loves an off lead walk in the woods. He is still sharp as a tack but his body is definitely starting to weaken. I haven't had insurance for him and I reckon he has cost me less than a grand or 2 in all his life . Border Collies are fucking units.2 likes

Yeah, pick any 11 of the 28 used so far 😀 And that's 28 that have started, not counting subs. Miller, Taylor, Morley, McAtee and Dalby all started 5, Christie with 4, so that's 6 of them sorted. Forss, Forino, Johnston and Cissoko started half of cup games too. 7 players have started 2 so they can fight it out for the last place, or sit on the bench No place in the squad for Toal, Dempsey, Randall, Gale or ACD 😀1 like
