That's the thing I don't get, Farage and Tice are corrupt as fuck but their support just turn a blind eye. Just like they did with Johnson, it's absolutely mental. But what really makes me laugh is how they, and with a straight face too, say a mix up with a rental property permit means they are all the same these politicians. Utter rot. But I say that knowing that Starmer isn't capable of turning public support around and isn't actually very good at this PM business at a national level. We will get what we deserve, just like Brexit, just like Johnson and their supporters will all suddenly get selective amnesia when it all goes wrong, yet again.
  4. Personally really struggling to find the big issue with a 8pm kick off on a Saturday night. Okay its not 5 hours earlier, but it's the play offs. Just look at the 2nd leg, which is on a Thursday night. Under the lights on a Saturday night with the chance of having one foot in Wembley depending on the result. I saw a comment in the dark depths of Facebook (god forbid) and somebody's excuse was that Britain's Got Talent semis was on TV 😂

is that the 2 who 'won' the leccy bills paid competion who then turned out to the nominators of a reform candidate in the local elections and long standing Nige supporters. Labour and Tories are bad but neither compare to reform on the coruption scale

Two can play this AI nonsense game 😁
  7. I reckon we'll shift about 22k-23k in total by Saturday

And there's no local election near me today but if there was I'd vote Labour and I'd vote Labour in a GE. So fuck off

  10. First away of the season sorted. Get in.
  11. Congrats to everyone lucky enough to get em. Big responsibility now. Anyone who's not sang and shouted themselves hoarse by full time should be banned from future purchases!

Get me a Dukla Prague Away Kit will you ?
  13. I miss the odd night game especially in winter usually due to work and it all being to much of a rush. No way would I miss this. Yeah kick off time is shite its on tv etc but unless I had a long standing prior arrangement it would take a seismic event to stop me being sat down in the ground at 8pm. Nights like this are why we do what we do. Most Saturdays are taken up with the football anyway this is one no different ,just a little later. I cant think of a better place to be at 8pm this Saturday .
  14. I'm also surprised EFL.com don't have a say in wanting their product to come across in all its glory. They'd want to see two games with stadiums packed out, and there could have easily been 25k on at both games if more away fans had been allowed. Folk that aren't invested in a game will quickly turn off when they see a half empty stand or 2, if I was the EFL or Sky I'd want a good reason for the restricted attendance.
  15. 8 o’clock start, 10 o’clock finish, time to get away I will do well to get home much before midnight. Plenty travel further than me but it is a pain in the arse. People are right that it is a better Saturday than midweek , wonder how of the tickets for the Barnsley game were sold after we won the first leg ? The fact it is 8pm on Saturday I think for folk living local will mean the crowd will be lubricated and vocal !
  16. Kids in work were asking today "how many people have to die before we have lockdown". One asked what the symptoms were and so I told them "loss of hearing", then ignored them all for the next 5 minutes..
  17. I think it is pretty simple you get points of going to away games that give you priority for away game when supply is limited. No need to over complicate it. Virtually every club has such a scheme. The only argument i have seen against is that some people can not afford to go to lots of away games or can not due to other commitments. Which I get but when a Thursday night game at Bradford or Barnsley comes round everyone is available. I do not do enough games to be in any elite group but the fact someone who has done 15 aways this season is in the same group as someone who bought a kids ticket is unfair.
  18. Just get out of this tinpot league Problem solved
  19. There just isn't any system that would suit the majority. If 15,000 want 2,000 tickets, 13,000 will always be unhappy.
  20. Haha, same as me! Sat here with a cup of coffee and available tickets are 5945
  21. Because I have nothing better to do, I have just had a reckon up of the remaining tickets available, they total just short of 6000. So sold 1000 since they came on open sale at 5 pm yesterday.
  22. Just functional..looks much better and can use it now, doesn't matter that it doesn't look professionally made. Before any of the WW officials start up.. I did the strip of block paving and it's being levelled out at half term. It's a good cheapish way to cover a multitude of sins and much cheaper than the 6k I was quoted.
  23. You always look at the past as an indicator, but one thing is for sure, our fan base has grown much larger in recent years. 22k average in the 3rd tier is virtually unheard of throughout our history, albeit we've not spent too much time here. For comparison, we got a 22.5k crowd against Posh when we got promoted on the last game during our last period in League 1 9 years ago. That's just above our average this season. Our average that season was 15k. If we were told that we'd have 16/17k season tickets alone you'd have thought it was a joke. Who knows what we'd be getting in Champ/Prem, you'd be looking at talks of expanding at that point. It's what makes these 5 years in League 1 so painful, we are desperate to kick on now and to finally make our way back after now 7 years since that near extinction. It's been a long hard road back, I'm on my knees now to the footballing gods that we are 3rd time lucky in the play offs in League 1. Bradford, Stockport & Stevenage can all wait, they've had enough recent joys and promotions. Our time now, please 🙏

  25. Really bad not to have a points system for aways in this day and age. Would be so easy to implement now everyone has to be a member and would reward those that go regularly. Doesn't sit right I've been to 3 aways this season and have as much chance of getting a prime away as everyone, so I took the moral high ground and didn't try / forgot about the 10am sale time while I was in a meeting....
  26. The only real winners from us selling more tickets are the EFL & Stevenage.
  27. That was stress-inducing but managed to grab ours. Kids are excited - I'm already dreading it.
  28. Rachel Reeves takes 20% to waste, the EFL then take 50% of the remaining 80%. We then have to give 50% of the remaining 40% to Bradford. So, we only get 20% of the ticket revenue, from which we have to pay additional stewarding costs of a segregated lower tier. All this to give our opponents a bigger presence and backing at our home leg. Give your head a shake!
  29. I was 500 all gone, used up by selfish folk buying 4 😂😋😎👍
  30. Does it show you as being ‘in the waiting room’ - as per @freds dad’s screenshot above? If not then refresh and it should put you in it. Looks like it’s then a lottery at 10am as to who gets put in to buy them
  31. I'm not being funny, but this is what fucks the system up, thousands of people all logged in for hours before they go on sale. It's highly likely you'll be logged out after a certain amount of time.
  32. Why on earth should we do that!?
  33. Happy Bradford Away Ticket Day...

Ah, but Nige would love to close them again. An enemy within as well as boat people, he may not need to engage in any pesky foreign wars.
  38. Brought a Geordie mate in the north lower when we beat them 5-1 around 2010 I loved it, didn't spoil it for me He didn't enjoy it as much
  39. Oh I forgot about Chelsea 98 last game at Stamford Bridge - fortunately they wanted us to win too! 🤣

  44. It’s great - wouldn’t have it any other way. But I could do without that level of interest tomorrow morning at 10am 😂
  45. Same folk moaning about an 8pm KO at home on a Saturday will be moaning tomorrow they didn’t get a ticket for an 8pm KO in Bradford on a Thursday
  46. It's a good job they do. Some of the recent night games we've barely had 10k on. Don't tell anyone our secret though as everyone else in the league thinks we are massive

Sounds good. Media still seem unsure as to when, and who will put their head above the parapet and try to oust the dalek. Seems our Ange may be in trouble over her antics at that school (and the school itself) which could seriously blow up in her face if complaints are made. That might finish her off.

Few gigs lined up here in Toronto over summer: Foos and QOTSA GnR A7x and Good Charlotte Interpol and DIIV Altin Gun Also debating tickets for Peter Hook later in the year.
  49. We don’t play with Wing Backs. Tutu has worked hard this year, but isn’t good enough as a full back or winger. We’ve stumbled into fifth place and it’s time to be ruthless, whichever league we’re in.
