Abimbola gone to NL. Shows the levels required even to get a L2 move. Many lads leaving pro clubs have massive bump of reality, not sure many are prepared enough.
  12. Oh don't. Just even the mention of them brings back a pang of nostalgia. Can taste 'em now. Shove the whole lot in your gob at once for a subtle melange of flavours. Do it three time and you'd be sick as a nun. God I miss them.
  13. No. Fuck off.

  21. And they all lived happily ever after.
  22. without looking on companies house (tbf the pre-emption rights one might be worth a read if I get bored just to see if there's any interesting wording in there) it just means the company can issue new shares - as you said, it'll be for the yanks - and that the normal pre-emption rights (existing shareholders are offered them first) are waived. It;s what we'd expect to see given waht we already know. The potential 'interesting' wording would be if there were any permanent removal of pre-emption rights, or removal for certain classes of shares. There probably isn't. And I may have exaggerated with 'interesting'. Given that you'll be all over it anyway, if you see any bits you think are salient feel free to share. Althiough for the sake of brevity, I'll emphasise "bits".

  24. Absolutely loved a bar six.
  25. Not going to post any old social media shit on here, but Luke Cundle 24yr old Attacking Midfielder at Millwall, does seem vaguely credible so worth mention. SS had him on loan at Plymouth, then took him on loan at Stoke.
  26. I'd guess so, I reckon French would be quite high up there, certainly with some travelling up from Africa
  27. It’s the Toughsheet, they all want to visit it, Oh and Moss Bank Park

  31. Yes, a very good (preferable to me) Cadbury's alternative to Kit Kat. Wafer biscuit with what was, back in those days, Cadbury's quality chocolate 👍

That made me laugh more than it should have, reminds me of 2 blokes who drink in my local pub, who are always willing to tell people they're not racist.....but.... Everybody calls them the "Daft Old Racists" You'd think they would be Reform voters.....but they're not, apparently Reform have gone soft and are no better then the Conservatives. They're fully into Restore now, because Lowe "tells it like it is" and "says what everybody else is thinking" - they're most amusing, in their own way. They don't seem to realise people laugh at them, not with them. They're both farmers as well, so fucking loaded, but tight as fuck
  33. The old hovercraft port at Pegwell Bay is now completely derelict so it'd be a bugger to launch. Its now part of wildlife reserve as well. Nice walk if you are ever down this way.

Is it bollocks what I think. Just 2 daft old racists spouting utter shite.
  35. seems to me that back 4 and midfield are what we go with up top is now the full focus, and maybe a back up keeper
  36. Temple going on loan to Oldham
  37. What attacking department? 🥱
  38. They're not requirements though. They're options, and ones they don't really use. Been here loads of times. France could send them back to the EU country they came through to get there. But they don't. Dublin convention isn't worth the paper it's written on. Bit like the ECHR, where some countries use it or ignore it, as it suits.

  45. Inwood on loan to Swindon.
  46. He's already back in full training as of at least a week ago
  47. you got your VPN on, you pervy owd fucker?
  48. Don’t interpret this as we are ok as we are, definitely not. It would be naive to suggest we are close to a side that can comfortably compete in the Championship. We are all desperate to see who these incomings will be, that can propel us forward. However, talk of us being no better in any area is also wide of the mark. There is still plenty to be positive about and which wasn’t in place this time last year. FH and SS are another year along the line of building us up to compete at a higher level. The defensive line has been re-shaped. Early signs are good. We’ve addressed the area that was a weakness last year. They’ve also consistently been playing together in pre-season, building relationships and partnerships. Compared to blooding a questionable U-21, we have an experienced keeper who has played at this level before. Rodrigues is a massive plus. A proper pre-season behind him and one where he has excelled and looks like he can be our creative impetus this season. We’ve got added Investment into the club. There’s a confidence among the players and squad, now that they have a promotion behind them, and a belief that they can prove themselves as Championship players. We are in the Championship, and competing, in our mini-league against sides who potentially, could be facing bigger problems than us. Still a way to go, but it’s a good foundation from which to continue to build on for our 26-27 season in the Championship.
