Santos left the building months ago. His performance at Barnsley showed that.

Tutu can do one for me , any reasonable offer should be taken .Undoubtedly talented but application is pisspoor plus he’s a definite sick-note.

Not sure about Dempsey , he’s injured an awful lot , probably give him the benefit of the doubt.

Jones despite his limitations has at least been professional.

Baxter has turned into a disinterested clown .

Johnstone probably would be ok with someone like Sweeney (Burton A) stood next to him.

Matette has shown up late to the party but maybe lack of game time in a more forward role has hampered him ?

Tutu is the only one who looks like he's ever going to get round the back to me. I'd be keeping him if I were SS.

Santos is a huge question mark. Dempsey can only be relied on for half the games each season. Baxter is decent but I don't think we can afford to keep him and Southwold. Johnstone is a decent enough L1 defender for me. Jones's legs went half way though last season and we're going to need much better than Matete.

I can’t find any. Whereas when I google Starmer lies that’s a completely different story 😉

You need to get on the dark web mate 😁 Everyone knows the main stream web was infiltrated by the deep state in 1998.

    Just after rotten.com went down

As to “discussing whether Keir* is a liar or not” there’s not as most sane people know he’s a liar.

This is called confirmation bias - and it  makes you look like a moron unless you keep it in check.

    No, not daft.

You just lean left and struggle to see. Understandable.

    What is it then?

I can understand why people who didn't like him anyway would say they have no confidence in him.

But I genuinely can't understand why people who did approve of him now don't. The must be incredibly fickle.

You’re confusing American politics with UK. Starmer is unpopular because of his party. Trump because… well he’s Trump.

Remember, only 33% voted Labour. (52%Trump) The latest opinion polls have Labour around 25%. In fact Reform are ahead of both Labour and Tories.
    Julie likes this.

Maybe that's got something to do with it. But again - I can't point to anything massively controversial the Labour Party have done to deserve that tanking either?

  6. Putin won't concede anything. Trump will spit his dummy and blame it on Zelensky and Europe.

If only we'd play ball and completely surrender to the aggressor then none of this would be happening.

And it wouldn't have happened if he'd been in charge either!

Who knows? Both more unpopular than before they were elected. One more than the other. 🤷‍♂️

See when I look at DT's first 100 days in office - it's completely clear why his approval rating is as low as it is. With KS - I'm scratching my head a little to really understand what he's done that's switched people off to the extent that he seems to have.

He's about as competent of a prime minister as we've had for a long, long time. And he's not even done anything that controversial - at least not much controversial in the eyes of the kind of people that might be quick to flip from liking him to disliking him anyway.

I'm starting to think that British people might just be daft.

I thought it was progress in that one session we were challenging for top 6 but not top 2

The next season we were challenging for top 2

    Either way

8th is a massive failure on everyone's part so fuck knows what the aim ought to be next season

    I'd say play offs.

I just can't see us being able to move enough dead wood on to challenge for the top two.....

    It is the norm

US presidents get a state visit

We've offered a second state visit to Trump because he's an enormous egomaniac and it's something of interest to him that we can offer

We'd still have to dealswith Trump if we were an EU member and appealing to his vanity is how to deal with him, at least at this stage

    Starmer's got it right imo

I think I'd have done the same in KS's situation. I might have just been a little bit sick in my mouth mind.....

Think it is a second visit that is unusual. But so is a President having his term split. Diplomacy means having to do things for the greater good. There is no problem with the invite IMO. If stroking his ego helps the relationship just do it unless we are happy taking minimalistic deal we might get. Despite everything he says the US are our biggest most important ally as a single country.

Yes - it's the second visit.

I suppose it just comes down to how much arse licking you're comfortable with 😁

It's not for me - but I shan't be out protesting.

    Nah, it would

The Royal Family/state visit is one of the cards the country has to play and it'd still be in our interest to maintain a good relationship with the US even if we were still members of the EU

Well it's never happened before in the history of the US presidency has it? So it's not the norm.
