The thing that used to frustrate me was the discussion around hospitality There was a lot of folk who all of a sudden had concerns for the hospitality industry Which is fair enough in isolation so to speak But I found the same folk didn't care much for the industries that rely on commuters and town and city centre workers going into the office Or certainly didn't make as much noise about offices and workplaces getting back to normal Basically they wanted to work from home, still go to the pub and fuck everyone else I will say though that I was at a point in my life where going to the pub or the office weren't in any way important to me, and my daughter was 2 so home schooling want an issue, we just watched Disney plus all day, I did lose around 30% in forecasted income but was more worried about vulnerable folk close to me dying So I was all for lockdown Had this happened in the 90s my attitude would've been very different
