  1. Question is when he punted in long in the general direction of a player.

Was he deciding to do that.

or was he being coached and told to do that.

saying that. If he was being told to do that and it wasn’t working after the 8th time he should have told the manager to do one

Difficult for me to say without knowing what is happening with the Administrators at the hotel but in general all footballing creditors (the players, Vince at Forest Green will be paid up in full, the secured creditors (Anderson, James, Warburton, the bank) will be paid in full and all non secured creditors HMRC, the Town Hall, the clubs admin staff wages, etc, will get a minimum of 25p in the £.

I have made a bit of a flippant remark above about the similarity to what the Administrator is asking and what Anderson was but my point really was that if the amount to come out of Administration (ie the sale price of the club) which includes the hotel and presumably car parks and other land etc, then it's doubtful that Anderson has raped and pillaged the club anything like some/many hoped/believed.

As I said though all will be revealed in time no doubt.

    Bang on.

During the last few days of Anderson’s tenure it was banded about it would cost £80m to buy the club.

That figure includes about £30m worth on transfers needed to buy a new squad and deal with £6m losses per year.

now its £25m to get the club with no mention of the daily losses, oh and the cost to buy an entire new squad

    basically the numbers are bollocks.

I’ll admit I’m in the party out brigade but only because I think it’s time for a change but I’ll put money on it most of the ones who are foaming at the mouth for him to go because of the style of football he plays are also the one creaming themselves at the thought of big Sam coming back. Irony in its purest form??? 😂

I remember when Kevin Davies was suspended and we had Diouf and anelka upfront.

We didn’t just lump it, instead we played to the strengths of the players we had.

When Madine was injured or suspended we played le fondre upfront.

Parkinson decided to continue in the exact same style as if Madine was there. Needless to say we got done in by sheff Utd.

    Nothing to do with style.

absolutely everything to do with complete tactical ineptness and a failure to correctly utilise the players you have personally bought and chosen.

  4. Swansea selling a nobody winger for £15m.

Our failure to generate consistent high value player sales over the last 10 years has really screwed us over.

so many other clubs are living day to day by selling shite players for inflated figures

Make sure we shoot right to left in the first half. I might just move seats

That will only work if we leave someone up top when defending corners...

Barring the last time we were in League One, we've probably got one of the worst records in England over the past decade. That's a whole generation of fans who've known little else than disaster, and yet our away support has generally been very good, all things considered.

Starting -12 with new owners, manager and players... I think people would be bang up for it.

It would be a dream to go away somewhere and play someone off the park and grab a comfortable win.

Like how Preston came to us and absolutely destroyed us.

  7. The reaction from the kop for the 4th goal was seriously underwhelming. They looked to celebrate the 3rd more.

almost like they weren’t sure it was a goal and it might be disallowed.

Im sure it would have been far better had it come from an open play goal.

In all seriousness you think our club in its current situation will attract players equal to or better than our 2 keepers, 3 centre backs, Lowe, Oz, Ameobi, Noone, Connell and McGennis?  I fear every single player starting our next game (hoping there is one), will be far worse.

    Sum of the parts init?

worse players but a competent manager. Maybe we’ll be better?

  9. I consider myself to be very lucky that I’ve been at some of the greatest moments in BWFCs recent history

    forest at home

    munich away

    madrid at home

    west ham and boro home

    carling cup run

    birmingham away fa cup

im finding it very hard to comprehend that future generations and my children won’t even get to witness a bolton win if we go pop.

Didn't want a hero, just an owner who wasn't a cunt and who was genuinely prepared for the job in hand, rather than a cunt, who has acted the cunt at every opportunity, and seemingly shifting the blame onto any other cunt.

As for signings, PP has said they were all his, a frugal owner should have said enough is enough, you'll have to play one or two youngsters, rather than bring in a couple of the disastrous panic signings that we saw late on.

    I like ken

But you’re right he should have told Parkinson to fuck off when he wanted more and more players having failed early on to integrate new players or even consider them.

He's not going to be a world beater, clearly. But against Boro for e.g. he made accurate passes, long and short, on the ground and in the air which as a bolton fan I simply haven't seen for years. We still won't score without a striker, or a proper manager, but Connell is championship standard which puts him in a minority of 4 or 5 in our current squad.

    He’s just turned 18.

    18

surrounded by shit players. Being directed by a shit manager.

in fact the fact he hasn’t been managed by Parkinson probably helps him.

Funny how someone with minimal ‘training ‘with the first team stands out.

  12. Absolutely no one is asking for total football.

just something, absolutely anything that resembles a plan.

booting it to a forward who can’t win a header with no one in 20 yards of him isn’t a plan. It’s absolute shit.

we know we have below average players for this league but to roll over and allow other shit teams to play us off the park is unforgivable.

It’s the same when they were paid and when they weren’t. In fact we played better sometimes when we haven’t been paid.

Yep cant be arsed trawling back but sure Eavesy, Fanny5 off the top of my head. And if everyone wanted him out you can bet cheesy bell would be contrary for sake of it.

    Ha!

there should be a fan club for his ability to retain a job whilst being complete inept.

  14. When we went 2-0 down Connell stood on the centre circle with the ball going ballistic at the players.

hobbs and beevers looking at him absolutely gormless.

connell didn’t have his best match but atleast he went for it. He certainly didn’t hoof it and pass the buck like beevers did

  15. How someone can look at the outcome of a weeks work and think that is acceptable is a disgrace.

    absolutle disgrace.

he must be managing shit on purpose . That’s the only reason you can justify the absolute shite he instructs us to do.

when oztumer came on, immediately trapped a ball and set us off on an attack.

when he sees that stood on the touch line what is he thinking?

    fuck me that was good

    or

fuck me buckley would have given it away there

    what a dick

Has to be talking about Parkinson

    Parkinson
