What a waste of time and money that was. AOB and McCann should be embarassed about collecting any wages on that performance. And why Riga was brought off instead of Helgusson I'll never know. He was one of our best 2 players alongside Gardner. Shittu was a liability in our half, trying overhead kick clearances when he was the last man, and falling on his arse regularly. When Davies and Nolan came on they were different class and the 2 of them created more chances in 15 minutes than the rest of the team had in 75. Without them we just looked like we had no-one that can score a goal. Oh, and I was sat in line with the offside decision for the disallowed goal and it was offside. What wasn't spotted was that Nolan was offside from the initial ball that led to his goal. And it was a penalty too.

About 10 rows behind the tunnel and 10 rows in front of the Directors Box. At the end of the game we could walk forward and literally see down the stairs of the tunnel. 78 euro tickets, but no trouble at all at that side of the ground.

The stewards were in the corner of the stand opposite the majority of you, and were happy to sit and watch the trouble from afar. They stayed behind in their seats after the match for 30 mins and then straight onto their coach to be whisked to safety.

Bit of a farce saying tickets were sold out when they were selling tickets to Bolton fans at the Atletico ticket office on Thursday and Friday for additional sections they had given to us. I had tickets in Madrid stand opposite (78 euros each) and asked if they would swap them for 44 euro tickets in the new Bolton part. They would have sold me them, but wouldn't swap, which I thought was a bit stupid, and I wasn't prepared to pay ovewr 120 euros to watch a match. Wasn't only me volunteering to swap and keep the Wanderers fans together either.

Gartside had disappeared from the Dir's box 10 minutes before the end of the game, so I doubt he saw the trouble 1st hand.
