  1. Good atmosphere in the main and decent turnout bearing in mind £28 tickets and the fact that we were nailed on to lose. Was ok until Spearing went off, after that it was only going to end badly. Last time I saw us win away was Lennons first game at Birmingham, think I've been to about 12 since and we've picked up 4 points ( Wigan, Blackpool, Brentford last season and Blackburn this) and it's getting a bit fucking tedious. I'm usually glass half full but I'm officially worried now
  2. Have you ever shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die?
  3. It gets easier when you get older ???? The madness subsides, the notion that you have to squeeze every minute out of the weekend goes away... Few scoops Sunday pm and an early neet for this late 40's mon... Mostly !
  4. Is it a job thing Gonz? Or would it be the same whatever you did? I don't think most folk on a Sunday are looking forward to work on a Monday, but when I'm actually at work on Monday its not that grim really, I like my job so that obviously helps I guess..?
  5. I hate Leeds and Wigan and wanted them both to lose but that was a belting game of rugby league and every man on the pitch yesterday could walk off with their heads held high. Superb, top quality stuff
  6. That last post went a bit wrong (iPhone wanker) but you got the gist ????
  7. I like Christmas but when it's Christmas I.e. not before at least December. We are a month away from bommy night yet ffs!
  8. This, cracking stuff the Bernie Gunther series
  9. Seabrooks are excellent, especially prawn cocktail. As are those potato chips (matchstick type thingys) that you could only get at Marks and Spencer's back in the day, although most supermarkets now do a version. Pringles are rotten, and now I know how they're made I like them even less. Every day's a school day on here ????
  10. Didn't get the irony. Been a long day !
  11. Just asking, serious question, how many RU enthusiasts on here actually pay money to watch club RU?
  12. A good day out spoiled. We were unlucky, arguably robbed. But let's crucify our manager, the usual suspects and some folk who've never been on here anytime recently seem to think that's an ace idea. Question to them: if we get rid of Lennon realistically who do we get?
  13. I'm 47, and I remember all the above, as I remember this country's manufacturing base decimated by an ideological attack on any group of workers having the temerity to try and defend their pay and conditions. I've no issue with folk who do well for themselves through their own efforts, good luck to them, they should be supported. I just don't see why the folk at the bottom of the pile should have to be fucked over because a bunch of crooked bankers put other people's money on red and it landed on black
  14. Nobody who's done alright for themselves votes labour for self interest. Everybody who's done alright for themselves who votes Tory does, but it's always false promises. Unless you're a banker, a 'high net worth individual' or a member of the aristocracy you will get shafted like the rest of us.
  15. Oh you've got it wrong, RU is a very technical game that us mere mortals don't understand. Nowt to do with passing the ball... and before anyone says if you don't like it don't comment on it, fair enough but stop coming on the rugby league thread telling us how shit it is.....
  16. Well done you!!i could have sworn you were a working class but ok person who votes Tory because they've done alright for themselves and hates where they're from. Glad to be proved wrong ????
  17. When have Northerners ever benefited from a Tory government? Genuine question not taking piss or owt. Just want someone to tell me? I keep getting told on here but not feeling it
  18. To Carlos, I should learn how to do quotes, apologies
  19. I was responding to Carlos for the record Cas, but you probably got that. A very close family member to me is currently being treated in a mental hospital, yes I know, pull yourself together Blah blah bollocks, that goes away soon under the current administration
  20. Agreed but neither have the Tories, at what point does anything become their fault? Just asking like
