That's right NW, I was 16yo and walked from the ground back to Kirkdale station and got mugged on the way. Missed the last train back to Bolton, the ever friendly Bill put about 10 people who had also missed the last train on the next one, back to fecking Preston. It was snowing that night, got picked up by a lads mother about 1am who dropped me off on CNR. Had to get a taxi back home, arrived in about 3am and up for school a few hours later. Enjoyed every minute of it #-o Friendly Scousers my arse.

Exactly. A marketing ploy that never goes down well. Why can't the fans just enjoy the build up without having ads rammed down their throats. Get a grip and place your ads at half-time when the captive audience has nothing else to do.

Can't understand Diouf at times. In the 2nd half he broke through, beating 2-3 players and he decided to fall on his face once more instead of carrying on. OK he was in the penalty area, but FFS why dive when he could have made something out of it. Rant over.

Pompey made it difficult for us today, getting plenty behind the ball and a solid defence. Us, well, run out of ideas. Could have been different if Diouf had bagged his chance in the first half. Okocha doesn't look match fit and his shooting was worse than Roy Greaves. On the whole, can't complain much about the defeat as we never looked like beating them. No win in 4 games now, I'm getting worried that we're on a slide down the league. Still a much better position in the league that I would have hoped for. click for Match Report

With Pompey being managerless they will be playing to impress their potential manager as always ,and how many times have we come unstuck under those circumstances. But on this occaision I'm gonna put me head on the block and say 2-0 as we are by far the class out-fit between the two clubs.
