  1. Another ruing the fact I never got to see them live. Love the early stuff and he was a fantastic showman. Bought about 7 copies of Queen 1 when it first came out from a record shop on Oxford Road for people in Aggy after they'd listened to my copy as the local record shop (yes there was one) wasn't stocking it.
  2. Now that sounds heaven. ???? Had a smoky brandy cocktail in Fitzgeralds that Mrs Dee described as smelling like back o't grate.
  3. I Still love 16yr old Lagavulin. Madhatter what should I try that compares?
  4. So dabbings the new twerking ..??
  5. Oh forgot Joe Gilgun went to primary school with my kids. Does proxy count? There's another poster with a claim to Joe.
  6. In the same class as Adam Creme at school, cousin and mini me of  Creme from 10cc. PE teacher at college was Fran Cotton from the fat lads game.
  7. They were punctual as well, always just leaving when I got home from school.
  8. We used to have a fish van, veg van, pop van and a coal wagon
  9. That'd narrow it down, not many public piss stones anywhere these days! They could always piss 'behind the sticks' like everyone else does.
  10. You can add in Grant Thornton resigning as auditors, with the usual statement that it's not because they suspect any impropriety, which I suppose they have to state otherwise it could make them complicit if anything does come out. Edit: May as well chuck this in the mix
  11. Drop the probation service a call, sounds like an ideal project for community payback. Bolton Probation Office (offender supervision and Community Payback): St Helena Mill, St Helena Road, Bolton, BL1 2JS – 03000 478400
  12. Looks like it, or maybe he's just 'hidden' it ..it had his email address on Briefly looked this morning and thought I'd have a proper catchup over lunch ..snooze you lose is the phrase! Fair play to Akram , 6 Lambo's on a declared remuneration from his sole directorship at Asons Solicitors of £7968 for the year to 05/15 ..maybe he qualified for tax credits. Familiar figure:
  13. So under the radar when you moved to Deane By the way stick the evening of 7 Dec in your diary.
  14. My lad's trying to make it. Would top him driving to Middlesbrough and back on his own for a midweeker.
  15. You'd have to be at home occasionally to be able to drink at home regularly.
  16. Looked at an estate agents in H-town that's recently set up a letting agent side, they're charging £200 (non refundable) for 1 ONE person!! I've a portfolio of photos of mates houses and I'm off to find 50-100 people who want to rent. Don't panic, none of them will be accepted ...obviously!!
  17. Thanks all. He's back up here now so planning on having some conversations tomorrow.
  18. Never rented so asking advice for my lad from renters and rentees on here. He's currently looking to rent a house, found one and applied with application fees of £200, advised they hadn't been accepted but application fee non refundable. His girlfriend has had to deal with them as he works away and when I've checked the paperwork it does state the fees are non refundable which she had missed. Is this normal? They seem to have been pissed around by these agents for the last 10 days. Apparently there were around 15 people looking at the house, seems like a great money maker if they've all paid £200 non refundable fees.
  19. I hope you're still on about pubic hair or that'll make Gonzo and his baked bean look like Robert Cabrera. (yes I had to google it)
  20. Had to evict another 8 from daughter's bedroom tonight. The natives looked like they were about to fight back against these harlequins, four of them (red with black spots) were mobbing up together on one wall with one solitary black with red spots on the other wall. She called me in another 3 times for individual ones, 2 black and red and one native!
  21. Must have thought her Casio auto updates!!
  22. Does this explain why I've been inundated with ladybirds today ...fckin loads of 'em all over the kitchen and conservatory windows!!
