Get both Davies and Helgusson in the Box at every oportunity and bombard them with crosses. Taylor from the left, Guthrie from the right, wiht Campo just sitting and contolling.
With Diouf and Super sub Rasiak to come on I can see a first away of the season. 2-1 Helgusson and a late Rasiak header to stick 2 fingers up to the thousands of doom merchants that are around at the moment.

Although that doesn't leave us with much cover for the defense in the middle, unless you ask Guthrie to drop deep and let him spread the ball about from that space.

people say we are already relegated, I would say we are in a bit of trouble but far from relegated, 2 teams are down already that leaves 1 spot, in the mix are Sunderland 23pts gd -18, bolton 22pts - 10, reading 22 -20, brum 20 -13, our goal difference could be a big factor as the season develops, also we must bear in mind our terrible start to the seaon, since then our form has been better than all the teams in the mix with us, O.K. we have lost our main goal threat, but it is just as Important not to concede goals and we have definitely strengthened the rest of our team steinson looks excellent, Taylor has the best left foot I have seen at Bolton for a long time and when he gets fit I think he will be a class act, although I have not seen much of Cahill, all reports and comments from Fans at Villa lead me to believe he is a very good addition, with the return of Diouf and the return to fitness of Vaz te(who should be given a chance along side Davies up the middle and not on the wing) and 2 other options in helguson and Rasiak we have more options than for a long time, add to the mix Megson has at last put Andranik in the squad who will score goals if gven chances,I feel quietly confident we will get out of this.

We are not in anywhere near as much trouble as people would have you believe. I am not disillusioned, just optimistic. Whats the point in being pesamistic, it doesn't make you feel any better.
We will finish in the top half of the table, we will buy a top class striker in the summer, we will finish in the top four next season, and the Ginger one will get knighted. And it will all start with an away win against Reading.
Ok maybe not the away win.

I don't understand gettin this stump in at all as it just makes the club look more like a bunch or amateurs than before if that were possible.
I would have had more respect for them if they came out and said they were being quoted silly money for players due to having the Anelka money and they were not prepared to pay it!!
He will start no more than 2 or 3 games and score no goals, so whats the point!!
And you know that how?
Don't jump on his back, whats the point? For all you know he could start every game from now and score 5-10 goals in the process.
At least give him a chance ffs.

still got Fojut, cahill, meite, AOB possibly Steinsson who can play there.
would've rather loaned him out he's been improving in recent weeks and i think he could turn out to be a good un.
I would agree if we hadn't have signed Cahill. Michalik is now surplus to requirements, We have Cahill (also still a young up and coming player and a lot more highly rated), Who I think is still around 28 so not old, and Miete who I stil rate a lot when next to a leader. Add to that Fojut (another up and coming prospect) and Steinssen if needed and there is no need to have Michalik.
I also think that even though he didn't look bad in the Premiership, against any decent striker with a bit of pace and he would be a liability. He will do well with Leeds though.

Megson may of pulled him out of the squad as he may be on the move at the 11th hour!!

Mates a massive fan, he has rated him for a few years as he had heard very very good things from even the youth team. He is extremely highly rated at the club. I haven't seen him much but from what I have seen I would say he is going to be very good.

and for us to score what appeared to me quite a number of goals, when our "top" scorer is on 4....

We will stay up because there are 3 worse teams than us in the league. Derby are already down, I can't see Fulham staying up which just leaves one position for any of about 5 teams, of which I don't think we are the worst. IMO the 3rd spot will be between Wigan, Reading and Sunderland.

Aparently he can play all positions accross the back.
Agreed we're probably a little top heavy in def now.
I also heard he can play across the back, and maybe if we were really short at CB then he could play there. All I was saying is that at the moment we have suffiecient cover at CB who aren't doing too badly, and he is doing very well at RB, personally I wouldn't change anything.

I'd be very surprised if Megson doesn't choose AOB & Cahill of Metie. Some of his errors have been criminal, a la back heel clearance into the path of the attacker against Wigan.
I'd like to see Stienson at CB & JOB back on the right.
I agreed until then. Stienson is a quality right back, he is good in defence and good going forward, JOB is w*nk at right back. With Miete AOB Michalik and nw it looks like Cahill then we don't need Steinson at CB.

Been told we have bid ?2.2 Million for Marko Babic from Real Betis. They want ?4.5 Million for him but we are trying to sort out a deal.
No other news from Spain, possibly the direction of Barcelona, for an ex player?
As for this guy I have never heard of him so can't comment.

It will be between us and Brum. Taylor chose us over Sunderland and I'm sure Cahill will do the same. As for Brum they have more chance of dtaying up than Sunderland and he would also be in the Midlands aswel.
Personally I think if we offer him a decent wage then he will choose us.

Really? I suppose everyones opinions are different, but for me I think they will be about the same price, and I would much prefer Baros then Nugent. At the moment though I wouldn't mind Nugent to be brought in.
