  1. The queues didn't appear any shorter/quicker, so maybe cash wasn't the only problem??
  2. Mine just did it automatically so long as use same email to log-in to both shop and season ticket account. But then my mate that didn't work for him??
  3. Same happened with me and my Dads Fester, will have to give them a bell when I’m back. Bit of a piss take though after all the membership bollocks they then ship tickets on different price categories on same client ref!
  4. https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/why-is-the-bbc-s-coverage-of-women-s-football-so-patronising-
  5. He was on Talksport 2 the other day and sounded a top guy to work for, not unlike how the Forest manager came across yesterday. Didn’t know who he was at first but the accent was bugging me, until few snippets gave it away. I hadn’t realised he was at Stoke as assistant manager but said he had never met Michael O’Neill before and how unusual it is in football to be given a job under those circumstances; into someone’s inner circle who who didn’t know in some capacity previously. But hearing him talk you could tell why people would want to employ him, absolutely sound.
  6. I get the stadium naming is worth a few quid, but as a nod to the past I've never understood why we have dull N,E,S & W stands when they could have copied Burnden in naming the sides of the ground.
  7. Bravo, was thinking all these things while reading the chain. Then you encapsulated it with this post!! The goal he scored at Ipswich I thought was class, just stroked it home. And I think with the movement of Charles rather than Doyle he may look more effective in that role as he does 'have' something. But playing in 4th div at his age is hardly a marker of some latent talent.
  8. https://www.thenationalstudent.com/Sport/2018-03-04/in_conversation_with_david_cross_part_2.html Mentions his time with us towards end of this article, and a misdiagnosed fractured skull!!
  9. I think he'd be worth keeping tbh, he can play our style, is quick, never really let anyone down; would we get anyone better happy being a squad player???
  10. As much as I fuckin despise them as a club and the fans; Richardson comes across very well, very level headed, and clearly done a good job.
  11. Imagine being an Everton fan now, horrible afternoon when your not playing! 🤣😛🤣
  12. Without raking over old ground, it was half a season too late.
  13. I have to watch a lot on IFollow and the Scottish guy is sound, is funny as he let's the other guy just drone on, never comments on his drivel, then just jumps straight back in with his commentary. Proper blanks him in the nicest way possible 🤣
  14. Surely it's Whitlow who is best comparison, played career at full back then converted to a centre half??
  15. I'm not sure where their 'due diligence' came in with our fans and attitude??? Did they really think they were buying a bowls club? Embrace it, dont fight it - pardon the pun!!
  16. Andy Walker criticising Celtic for playing too much football from the back, inviting pressure and causing their own mistakes against Rangers, 'Go longer and make the striker fight for it!'. And that is exactly us in these kinda of matches, rabbit in headlights for first 15/20 mins so maybe we do need a slightly different approach until the game calms down and we can play football, and do what we do???
  17. I still don't know what his position is?? He's not a wide player, he's not a striker, doesn't play as No.10? Don't get him at all
  18. Fair play for that second half and Evatt changing it, I sort of understand Bod being rested after playing games for Iceland, but Dempsey not starting is odd. We misplaced so many passes we would have won at a canter if we had played how we can. They looked utter shite second half which is testament to us. And if that Irish cunt had been sent off we'd have won that. Fucking referees
  19. That run by Dapo just was following a ball into the corner by Santos that turned their defence around. Can't we just play a bit simpler sometimes?? It's not that hard
