The old saying - defences win titles. Never been more accurate.
Yes, the clip on here shows some sitters we've missed. I'd hate to see a montage of very soft, sloppy goals we've conceeded
Surely every team could do a montage of sitters and sloppy goals though

Believe it or not we have the best shots to goals ratio at 11%. I know that doesn’t take into account ease of chance, but there you go

Failure to go up and I think IE will walk, nicely dressed up by FV.
He’s aged considerably and I don’t think he’s handling the pressure too well.
If he can’t get us up this year then he won’t manage it next season in a far stronger league.
Yes he’s connected the town with the football club again but progress has been too slow and he’s simply not savvy enough, too stubborn, emotional & inconsistent in his behaviour.
There are so many similar themes to last season from both a results & performance perspective too.
Anyway FV need to show some balls, and appoint someone with a proven track record if we fail in the play-offs.
Warne will have been promoted 4 times from L1 after this season.
It may not be pretty football but who cares.
It works.
I care. I’ve had enough of wank hoofball over the years. I just pray we can go up in the playoffs

Not going back over all the posts but that game was lost (i.e. not won) early doors and we simply started poorly. Santos especially in the first 10 to 15 minutes was poor. So we're 1-0 down and after that Santos is back to his best and as sums up our season we didn't convert our chances. We also didn't create enough so I don't blame Bod at all.
The season defining moments weren't today but for example Carlisle at home and the Wigan and Derby games where if you don't score you don't concede soft goals and at least come away with a point.
Who you blame for the above I'll leave to others to debate but for me it's poor coaching.
Realistically, how much do you expect us to create against top of the league. We had one or two where we should’ve scored. I would say we did create enough but didn’t take them

As long as we finish 3rd then we have a great chance of a Wembley playoff final

We are by far the most entertaining footballing side in the league. Should’ve won but we didn’t. I too am proud that we stuck to our footballing principles and dominated the champions

Everyone will have different opinions, personally I felt barely any confidence going into the play offs last season.
This year I feel highly confident that we can get the job done.
We just played the runaway leaders of the league and battered them all over the pitch. We battered Oxford and Reading recently at home who are both solid.
Id fancy us to grind out a draw away and get the job done home in the 2nd leg.
The crowds and support has been building over the past few years, however I think recently we've really shown our potential.
Unbelievable atmosphere today, I was a bit gutted we didn't win and possibly lost our chance of automatic promotion. But I can't help but just feel immensely proud of how far we've come as a club.

Miles better than them. Miles. Keep it up with no mistakes. That kamara lad is on loan from norwich. He's a good player but all left foot. Just don't let him come inside. Fucking Billy basics.
Easier said than done. Ask anyone who has tried that with Arjen Robben

Frustrating again. Our football is suited for the championship instead of playing shithousing, long ball set piece teams. We just need to get there

I'll tell you what gets right on my tits. Whenever the opposition have a corner and we head/clear it to the edge of the box, the number of retards who start yelling "Out!!! Get out!!" even if the ball is bobbling around the edge of our box.
This has always pissed me off, but it was at an all time high level on Saturday.
Always annoyed me too. Fair enough if it’s been booted up field and clear. “Getting out” or pushing up just leaves you open to deep runners into the box

Shambolic

A win is a win. We have won the most games in the league so I’ll take that.

Is it true that Wanderers TV aren't licensed to cover any cup games or is that just Twatter drivel?
And that Barrow iFollow isn't on?
Can't be right.
They can show pizza cup games but not Carabao cup games

I know there’s a thread on parking somewhere, but my lad parked today and said he could pay later online. He can’t work out what to do. Any help appreciated

But then all it would take is defeat in our first championship game for it to start again
