what happened to the little incentives introduced at the start of Sams regime? the kid for a quid, bring a friend for free, happy hour, bingo in the platinum suite etc? it seems tragic only the ironic/moronic drummers are left from days gone by... they truly lack rhythm and ideas... there has been a 900% rise in prices in the fourteen seasons since i physically bought my first ticket with my own money... admittedly i have since passed puberty, and the standards and facilities are far better, but the freedom and spontaneity to go to the game has gone. too many people are priced out of going, and with it the atmosphere... i still remember clambering from the paddock, and my first pitch invasion... ah sweet memories- not bad for 4 quid

i can just imagine my five year old queing for her own ticket... the ticket office appear to struggle with such basic tasks such as answering the phone, if everyone paid individually the place would go into meltdown... i would be wary of anyone exchanging goods for money in middlesbrough though
