lets just say keep a low profile its like going up deaneladesh. its a raggin horrible place.

all hate each other and even more so they hate the english with a passion.
my advice will be stay away as long as possible. :-#
Istanbul was meant to be all of the above and worse.

Montpellier is meant to be a great place - but heading away from Marseilles.
The Camargue region is the only place in Europe that you will see pink flamingoes in a natural habitat!

everyone so far has said avoid Marseilles.
Aix comes recommended by people who have lived down there - so sounds a good choice to me.

Nimes to Marseilles is about 1 hour and ??32. So guess that price and time for Nice is correct, it looks twice the distance on the map.
