I guarantee he'll respond. He's form the ''If you like it tell other people; if you don't, tell us'' school of thought and apparently a thoroughly nice chap.
  5. Back in the mid '80's this young wench used to make my Saturday evenings. Yum.
  6. Ginger wimmin Ginger men
  7. It reminds me of that security gantry at White Hart Lane. Can't see the far corner. Still charge full price though as 'there are no restricted views at White Hart Lane'
  8. I can't see the bit on there that's shown on the official site.
  9. I've been saying this to friends for a while. Most of the countries in trouble (Ireland, Portugal, Spain Greece, France etc.) could get themselves back on track within 6 months. One of their biggest 'exports' is tourism. If they agreed to slash their prices for the upcoming holiday period they would be flooded out with Brits and Germans who would see Europe as a better option than the all inclusive Florida Disney holidays. Ever since the Euro came in it has become more and more expensive to travel, effectively, a cocksstride from our country. Reduce the hotel and flight fees. Reduce the cost of food and beer. Watch Britain (and Germany) spend Europe out of recesssion and have a massive party on the way.
  10. So long as it looks like him I'm not really bothered. That Benny Hill jobbie of Fred Dibnah in the town center is embarassing.
  11. 1664?
  12. First was Ozzy Ozbourne, Queens Hall Leeds. 1982/3. Mates dad drove us over t'Pennines in the snow in his Jag, dropped us at the doors and picked us up aftrewards. All gigs should be like this. I was a 15 year old metal onion and loved it! Last was Ginger Wildheart and friends at the Highbury Garage last December. I was a 44 year old metal onion and loved it! Still moshing after all these years!
  13. I have one on average every 8 to 12 months. I get a fog in my left eye which gives me about 30 minutes to get somewhere quiet and dark before the pain hits (bright light is excruciating). Symptoms (including pins and needles down the arm, vomiting and feeling extremely cold) last for about 24 hours with a hangover type headache afterwards.
  14. ''Cry havoc, and let slip the Dogs of War(hurst)'' ''I am not gamesome: I do lack some part of that Quick spirit that is in Antony (Barness)'' Julius Caesar.
  15. Jackie Wilson sang (Conc)-reet Petite
  16. There's some vital (statistics) information missing there LW Actually, having seen her picture I'm not arsed.
  17. That's my breakfast every day. 6,000 years of british ancestors can't be wrong.
  18. There was one Spurs fan outside who took it upon himself to be the Mr Shake Hands ambassador for his club. He wanted to know of any Bolton forums he could get onto to suggest a supporters football match between the two clubs as a fundraiser for the Chest Hospital. I pointed him in the direction of here and The Wanderer. Hope it takes off. Fantastic support from the Spurs fans on Tuesday. Still couldn't get in the f*cking Wetherspoons though. Managed a pint in LT's over the road though, no bother.
  19. Been twice, 1995 and 2000. Went up to the top of the Statue of Liberty when you still could, rather than just the pedestal. Agreed about Ellis Island. If you're stuck for time it's missable. Stayed midtown near Madison Square Gardens which was great for Times Square and Central Park (10 to 15 minutes walk) Got down to the WTC in 2000 which was strange considering 12 months later they were gone. Greenwich Village at night is fantastic and if you go to Madison Square Gardens or Radio City Music Hall they have a list of gigs for the week or so you're there. Caught some cracking live bands in off Broadway clubs which are off the regular tourist trap. Never got off Manhatten (apart from the Liberty Ferry) but have been reccommended Yankee Stadium and the Bronx Zoo which I intend to do next time. I love New York and could happily go back another 10 times without getting bored.
  20. And mine. Love the Baseball Furies!
  21. I've heard him say the same about the Scum, Bayern Munich and Essex (Cricket and the County) More faces than the Town Hall clock that man. I'd rather he didn't associate with us at all, the thicket.
  22. Smack the Pony. Quite good I thought. Big Train was f*cking weird.
