I'm wondering if we can "agree a deal" in January to that effect. Get promoted and he joins.

In fairness, it doesn't sound like Randall was anything special.

You can land it on Spider's fracking funded golden H.

Oh don't! 😀

Kinell, he's underfunding public services according to her. To borrow a phrase from elsewhere, is she fucking thick? I'll say one thing for him- he at least realises we have to try to bring debt down (at least I think he does), but he can't find a way of keeping his lot on side to achieve it. If he is somehow replaced by an even more socialist type, then it's definitely cap in hand to the IMF time.

Yes, scored a goal more.

Still chance for Liverpool to make his weekend.

Seems that Starmer's government is about to be torched from within. Listened to a staunch Labour supporter and pundit really launching into Lucy Powell. I was quite surprised at the level of bile he showed. Will Starmer wait until he's forced out by cabinet resignations, go before or go for an election (or threaten to if they don't behave)? No way is he seeing out his term.

Fun and games here. Bum Boy Cheese. Bald Bob Clueless. Anyway, it's remarkable the stick the most watched news channel in Britain gets. Intelligentsia well up in arms. Brilliant. -
Certainly didn’t- couldn't- have envisaged that today. And with such a big goal difference swing. Best in the league now too. Just imagine if our away form had been a touch better!

Charles goal machine again for Huddersfield.

Tremendous. Up to third.

They can have a point.

Big oil companies are already taxed to the hilt. Profit size has to be considered alongside the size of the company. As for energy companies- if you're referring to the suppliers, then they make very little, and a number have gone bust over the years. Part of the reason for the cost is the green level applied to generation, to help the transition. When that transition is fundamentally flawed, we don't get full value.

Glodwick has been an absolute shit hole for decades. My gran lived in Ashton under Lyne, and we would pass through when driving over. On occasions, I'd cycle over, and when I approached the area, I'd become wart and vigilant. Then breath a big sigh of relief as I left. Over 40 years ago. I doubt they've learned what a letter bin is during that time.

Same west Midlands police that do pressers and open with a senior officer pandering to them, and not speaking English. We all know local political pressure had been applied, and that the ban was as a result. Simply an effort on their part of deflecting attention and trying to shut down investigation. Given the attacks on their supporters previously (in a Jew hunt) why were the protests not banned, especially once the fans had been? What are they doing about the social media organised hunt for the players/staff and maybe journalists? Did sky news cover all that?

Excellent. I take it all is going well then. Enjoy your time there.

I'm intrigued to know how they propose to do it. Any technical means would be equally applicable on all modern vehicles.

Following the introduction of the online safety bill, I mentioned this, and referenced/linked reports of some websites closing over fears the owners/publishers may be taken to court.
-
In fairness, I think she was moved because they were concerned for her safety. Perhaps the bigger issue is the proximity of the protest to the ground, and, not for the first time with such protests, heightened tensions/trouble. That, and the fact that they consider others to be unsafe- surely that should be grounds to restrict/ban these protests.

Far more to it than that. I've been following Jake Broe, amongst others, in his analysis. It does/did form a rail hub supplying much of the area. He describes the Pokrovsk battle as being "land for time". Russia is losing money hand over fist, together with refining capacity, men, food production etc. Ukraine has scaled up drone production remarkably, and supposedly outstrips Russian production. They are also struggling for money, but the agreements with other nations over military equipment manufacturing, exports etc will see some money coming in. Putin has ordered an even greater push in the area too apparently, so as to get "a win". It has cost incredible losses though- an average of 1000 per day now, and their spending on their military has fallen this last year or so. They're stalling for time until Russia's unsustainable conflict hits the buffers.

Until towards the end. They did well initially- taking on a decent situation and improving it. The growth of the services sector (financial especially) bit us hard when the 2008 crash happened. Traditional thinking says that the higher the level of services in an economy, the more the level development, success etc it has. Newer thinking says this might not be true. The comparative lack of manufacturing does seem to have affected us, though this is now changing somewhat, which is good news.

Russia have denied it. Make of that what you will.
