  1. No doubt mick. I think that as more and more football is televised and available internationally, the clubs at the top end have been able to capitalise on the exposure.
  2. He's a refuckin, but Darren oliver.
  3. Idiots. Sympathy with them but protest in the right way! Got to disagree with you about Tree hugging - give it a try with family/friends etc. If you've got a big un, try looking up at the top at the same time and not fall over. Trees are ace and not politically correct; and they make thousands of roof battens that miamiwhite rips out and gets his mates to dump at the end of your road...
  4. Dispensed with red and yellow cards. Then brought them back?
  5. I've no doubt that they gained a sympathy support initially but that's long passed and I'm sure they'd be as they are now with the passage of time.
  6. Someone scored direct from kick off (obviously a touch forward first as it was then)?
  7. Just listened to some of his commentary. He called the woman reporting on the east Midlands derby 'darling '. There'll be some up in arms over that. Anyway his commentary wasn't good.
  8. Think it was motd who said the fans aren't happy because; amongst other things, they were promised money to spend. The club has spent £29m but it's not enough! If they'd only spent £15m then I reckon by now a few thousand of their fans would have stabbed each other.
  9. Agree with that. Millwall at home is being tipped by a few as a "win" match. They're only six points off the play offs and flying. Birmingham will come here and feel this is a game they can win. Can't help feeling we will have to win away somewhere or at least keep drawing and maybe pull off a surprise at home; villa or wolves.
  10. Alan fuckyoushearer.
  11. Just watched the highlights of West ham. If ever a crowd lost a game. They were battering burnley, ok they went a goal down but at that point renewed noise from the home fans and you'd have still fancied them to get something from the game. Loons.
  12. Noticed that. It was talked about during the video; folk tended to travel around the north west for the "game of the day". After the war I suppose that football was the main entertainment and folk were just pleased to be able to go.
  13. Been some work using algae to produce gas. Not sure where it's up to but I'm sure some these biomass type technologies will become very important.
  14. Nodded off when they were around 70 ish for 5. Was a bit surprised they got as many as they did. Good win all the same.
  15. Aye. The huge increase in wind and solar farms is testament to that. Still need a lot more alternatives though.
  16. Just to add, that the fella deserved the slap tommy gave him; the video of the lady being attacked was far more powerful. By going it gives the snowflakes something to attack whilst ignoring the fundamental issue.
  17. Course I did. That's why I said just do the stuff he does first. Does he really need to go himself. Perhaps he's happy being marginalised; but as you say (and I agree largely) he's an astute bloke. I'd quite like him to get into the mainstream a bit more and keep the debate in the public eye. I don't disagree with your arguments royal, we've been here time and again on this forum, but his ilk need to be putting their intelligent comments out there and away from the real extreme elements. I know he has done this to some extent and he'll never get a good press in some quarters but I'd like him to try.
  18. Full time? Worth getting a copy then?
  19. That's rough. To cap it off you'll probably get it in a couple of weeks! How does the little one go on with regard to stuff like flu; any extra precautions or does he just sail through?
  20. This is what makes me a little uneasy about some of what he does.Show the clips and present evidence of what has gone on and is going on. That would be great. Did it need him to go himself? I suppose other news organisations do so he's entitled to go; but as I said before he's always on the edge.
  21. What's he said/done?
  22. I hope you're right; though I don't quite share your confidence. A healthy American economy should help everyone else.
  23. That's why it tastes salty.
