  1. We all thought the last window was good, but only beavers, Taylor, and ameobi until recently are pp signings that have played regularly. These new guys need to be effective.
  2. Don't get that- why should he be any more unplayable than anyone else. Agree current plan isn't working, but that's up to the manager to sort. Perhaps he is with proctor and Taylor out but selling your top scorer and bringing in someone who arguably in poorer form is a massive risk.
  3. He's come back to tropical Bolton.
  4. Once spotted Gordon Jackson coming out of a shop with a loaf under his arm in london. Also Imelda Staunton and Jim carter at Hampton court castle.
  5. Really? Done quite well this season.
  6. Perhaps. We'll see what ken says then. Gonzo- think I mentioned at the time that when ken made that statement it was tantamount to inviting invites for Clough. Guess it depends what you think a massive bid is. Personally I think £3m ish is not massive.
  7. 100% agree. Madine is hardly going to score a panful, neither will Alf out wide.
  8. Think the umpire refers it.
  9. Deja vu this. Same argument made last year. No player should be put in such a situation. IF he has to be sold to save the club then KA has lied- We were told no one needs to be sold.
  10. Forrest have no manager yet do they? How can they be bidding for players until they know what the manager wants? Fuck em off Zach.
  11. Is he assuming a bid will be accepted or is he saying one has? Either way, if he doesn't want to go he shouldn't. If his hearts not in it he'd be letting himself and his new club down- might be a bad career move.
  12. Alf is ok but we don't have a great deal of creativity. And no natural width. Cloughs the leading scorer from inside left- Alf isn't going to track back the way Clough has been, so if Alf plays in cloughs role then he's not going score as many as in the middle. In the middle would necessitate a change of style. If we're changing style then its harsh on Clough. We know Clough misses a few, but he is also more creative than others- look at his interplay with vela. Letting him go for £3.5 million is a mistake in my opinion. Above five maybe.
  13. Strangely keeps drawing me in.
  14. True. And he got in whilst stating this was his intention. However its a complete mess, and he might have fucked up with Iraq. The biggest ally in the fight against Isis and they're now contemplating retaliatory action.
  15. I thought Saturday's was good, starting to shape up now.
  16. Remember that, travelling along Bury new road and seeing one on the hill. Took a second look to believe it.
  17. Makes sense; as it said on TV that Burnley had recalled him.
  18. Paying rates as a prem club! A clever ploy by ka that; fat cliffs not exactly the most popular chap at the moment, by checking this out there ken's twisting his arm somewhat. Nice one.
  19. They bowled a good last over, but I feel we still tossed it away a bit. One of those umpires also rescued stokes with that no ball referral. Didn't see their innings though.
  20. Agreed- a magnificent bit of disemboweling.
  21. 'Long'ing for a good result.
  22. Rafa does my head in. Area picking, time wasting, interview slumping moper. Decent player though.
