  1. Just watched that highlights clip from Arsenal. When that third goes in got tingles all over. Tremendous. We think refereeing is bad now, Ashby was a disgrace. Worst decision of all time on that free kick.
  2. Might have cost us that. A few more runs was required today.
  3. Went in a few times whilst working for the council. Frankly they are dreadful, can see why so cheap. Pastry dead thick. Filling naff. Wilson's are light years better.
  4. Really! All about opinions, but for ball winning, spearing well ahead of pratley for me. Going forward I'd agree with you, but if we're playing with two wingers who aren't that great defensively, away at a team three points off the top, then I'd say we'd be too open.
  5. By the way, don't get a white/clear ibc. Water will go green, and increase risk of legionella. It's surprising, the weight isn't much of a problem, as they've got a fairly large area to distribute it over.
  6. I'd agree if the TV money wasn't so huge. The gate receipts ( or changes) aren't really going to make much of a difference. I accept its only a small number of seats, but if next time it was an increase in a bigger section, then you might get to the point where not everyone can relocate to cheaper seats as there's not enough. Wenger said recently that the extra money in the game will just go to players and agents. I know with it being Liverpool fans it clouds the water, but it would be nice if all clubs reached some agreement where a percentage of the extra revenue is set aside, to keep all prices affordable. I now it's naive, but it would be nice to see.
  7. Think they've made a mistake sacking him. Yes recent results have been poor, but they've got a decent chance of staying up judging by Saturday. Reckon it might work in our favour.
  8. It's a former comminute orange container. Got it from a place in Barnsley ages ago called raintanks.co.UK. Not sure they exist now. See them on farms. Used to use it to top up they fish pond in hot weather, before the heron got to work and punctured it!
  9. Is it the thin end of the wedge though? A fans protest at general greed, if it does happen, will start somewhere.
  10. Speaking of legs, is that Oscar Pistorius behind her?
  11. Of course. No one's saying Coyle was the dog's bollocks, but if Vardy and Mahrez were lost for the season, they'd probably not win the league.
  12. Muamba too. Though he wasn't playing frequently
  13. Got a 1600 ltr water butt currently lying on its side waiting to be set up. Bound to be a drought this summer. Ground is just too wet to sort it out. No sign if imminent improvement.
  14. Holding played quite well at right back. Like I said though changing the back line would be risky. Navies is a midfield lightweight at the moment, and Pratley looked unfit yesterday. Middle three of Vela, Spearing and trotter looks as strong defensively as we can currently muster.
  15. It's been a long time, is that opposite the old BBC? Loved the tikka kebabs.
  16. You could move Vela back to midfield. Derik and Wilson are available for the back four. Risky though
  17. Afobe was utter crap for Bournemouth. Like watching Heskey.
  18. I don't think the cheers were sarcastic, just pleased to see a striker. At least it forced us to play football (a bit) and we were the better for it.
  19. Next time someone is in Paul's ask him his opinions on Neil Warnock
  20. Perhaps I should have had a tenner on Leicester. Odds will have changed now.
  21. Strangely enough Mavies was much better second half once he went on the right. Football was better once Feeney went up top too. Feel sorry for Heskey. Does alright when they get the ball to him, but he can't run, not his fault. Still like to see us with two up, at least at home, but if not then only one of Mavies and Pratley. Spearing and Trotter got to start. The former was excellent today, doesn't always find a man but neither does anyone. He covers the ground and gets challenges in which is what we've been missing. Woolley's pace scared the shit out of them, and gave the fans and the team a lift.
  22. Adis- don't die of dyslexia.
  23. Liked going in Wingate's chippy whenever I was grass cutting in that area. Good. Currently do Jim's in Darcy Lever on a Friday night after an hour's archery.
