  1. whole team seemed to have switched off. And as you say can't blame him when he's not on the pitch. Its every time he appears we seem to go bobbins. Perhaps as soon as the rest see his name on the sheet, their hearts sink as the realise they're going to be playing like they're a man short.
  2. My neighbour encountered the latter earlier in the season, at that hotel in bury near the m66 junction. My neighbour said hello, but when he said he was a Bolton fan, Danns went a bit stroppy; giving it large as bury were above us at the time. Not sure they've won since.
  3. This is nothing. Wait until many tens of thousands of new homes are built. Inadequate public transport, more cars on packed roads, more pollution etc... Costs will rise yet more.
  4. Would Thorpe make a reasonable stand in right back?
  5. This. Can't knock him for defensive discipline, but not sure he knows what he's going to do with the ball half the time.
  6. Says 8397 on sky sports report!
  7. Can't take to mvg. Something about him
  8. For someone with such ability you'd like to see a bit more end product. Then he'd be playing at a higher level I suppose.
  9. Problem is after a few scoops you always feel you'd be better than you actually are. At least when you are tired you become aware of it and have the capacity to stop. Both are dangerous.
  10. Not been special recently- perhaps this is why. Can't win though can he; play well and they want him back!
  11. We do have a good away record, but teams do learn how to play against you, especially second time round. Not sure relying on a solid defence and attacking players spending loads of time helping them is always going to work. If were going to carry on with this system, then we must have two quality defensive midfielders in front of the defenders to allow our wide attackers some freedom to do what they're best at. Pp has said wheater was running on empty today- that's how injuries happen. Have a bit more confidence that we can win games against these lower teams with the quality of some of our attacking players.
  12. I'd now put Rochdale in with a shout too.
  13. I'd be tempted to rest Taylor. He's done well this season but I wouldn't want his confidence being damaged by getting torn a new one by Zaha/Townsend.
  14. Wouldn't want pratley as one of two holding midfielders. Better further forward competing for vela's spot.
  15. What happened; had we just not got back into gear after equalising or what?
  16. Not really relevant is it though. Different season, league, gaffer etc. We're going well generally but for some reason seem to struggle away against some of the weaker teams in the league.
  17. Will pp make changes to give some a rest after Christmas fixtures or go full out.
  18. Large price range; what's decent and value for money. Read that Bluetooth are better than rf ones.
  19. Utd players giving ref grief said it was.
  20. Have to be a charity shop window.
  21. Possibly trotter's passing being dogwank. I know I'm one of his knockers but when the commentator is continually mentioning it, to the point where he said it needed changes at half time, then it says something. I think Steve Aire talks a lot of good sense and he was trying to be polite about him.
  22. They are looking quite sharp...
  23. Steve aire was saying that vela dropped deaper to replace trotter and it gave more solidity. Until changes were made it sounded like none of the front players were a threat.
  24. He did the same a while ago, got a chance against port vale and did well for 45 mins. Doesn't warrant a starting place. Too lazy for starters.
  25. Dale won again. Doing really well.
