  1. If KA was putting his own money in then there's the question of why do delays in wages keep happening? Something not quite right. No one really knows what's going on; also no one else supposedly interested in buying the club- given our strong league position, relatively low debt, and many high earners leaving at the season's end- for a comparatively modest sum we may be worth a gamble, but its not happening. I agree it'd help if they had some money behind them, but who knows what will happen in the future.
  2. He had his op last night and is in a stable condition
  3. Reading that last sentence: presumably that was part of the master plan! Don't know if I'd really want to go to a place like that.
  4. Good effort today, not been much between the teams this series; India's spinners perhaps the difference. Presumably Cook's fault still though.
  5. Ryan mason taken a nasty blow from our gaz. Hopefully nowt serious but took nine minutes to get him off.
  6. Seems like another decent finish on the cards.
  7. Unfortunately they've recently sold the water cannon.
  8. Morticia on the left at the front holding a T-shirt.
  9. Those mugs have been fucked over already. Far fewer are going to be able to go for a midweek game now. The only positive I can see is that we have the chance to get back to winning ways at home now- wasn't confident of our chances today.
  10. Indeed. Presumably they'll stay over the night before the rescheduled game though and that'll cost. To be honest, the staying down bit is not the main issue for me- its the backlog, and surely a few phone calls and discussions immediately after postponement could have yielded a game on Tuesday/Wednesday.
  11. Take that though.
  12. I did wonder if they'd stay down after palace. You're right- they have to sort out policing etc; but in all reality it is doable- they just won't.
  13. Dale being hammered.
  14. Can't make my mind up- was he foolhardy talking to Taiwan? Maybe, but they shouldn't be dictating to america who he can speak to on the phone. If we all stopped buying Chinese tat they'd soon be in the shit.
  15. Would it be beyond the wit of man for the game to be played midweek- players could stay down to avoid extra travelling.
  16. Article in bn (if you believe it) about our quota for players. Mark Davies isn't included in our 23 as a result of agreement with the EFL. Pratley is included- currently. Wilkinson cannot go anywhere else and is included.
  17. Scunny have also had a postponed game; second is adequate, so wouldn't worry about them. Its our form that is the concern.
  18. It was -7 down there last night from what I've heard. They must have had a good idea it was going o be solid.
  19. Don't see how you could make clubs install undersoil heating unlsss they are given the money. In this situation though, the forecast told them it was going to be a cold night- could they not have called it earlier.
  20. Aye, they did invent gunpowder after all. In a stereotypical way wouldn't they pronounce it "gay fox" night. Plenty of plawn clackers available whilst watching the lockets.
  21. Won't they be doing street food and fireworks as part of the festival- might be worth a visit.
  22. Last time I was up there, seemed to be on the flight path for the airport, one after another. Must be twenty years ago mind.
  23. Nice place but don't the planes get in the way of the stars.
  24. Is that near Chu Man Phat.
