  1. Me neither, but air to air missiles are comparatively small and presumably manoeuvrable. A surface to air missile capable of reaching the necessary altitude is one big cunting missile. Happen a pilot might be able to take evasive action
  2. Michu available. Swansea just cancelled his contract
  3. Good call re Roy. Did well against the Aussie quicks
  4. Bell can go for me. Ali should go back to his preferred position. Reckon Stokes should come in lower down the order. Still inconsistent with his batting. Not convinced that Hales is the answer, but they should make a decision and stick with it for the full sa series
  5. I wasn't there neither. Probably watching fireworks somewhere
  6. Worrying. Suggests he is losing the players. Going to end in tears
  7. Where's the sky gone? Dull as took for ages
  8. Stokes to win it with nine down. Marshall-esque one armed batting.
  9. There must come a point though at which you must try something. It might work no one can truly say what the outcome will be until it's tried. As for the senior players, they seem to be pissed off already and aren't justifying their place. Youngsters might also get pissed off when they can't get a go in a failing team. Ultimately youngsters are there for a reason and you can't wrap them in cotton wool for ever.
  10. Died aged 88
  11. Frazer's possibly. Do their own curing iirc. Won awards but can't be sure they do it. Give me a ring they'll soon tell you.
  12. Could it be that Lennie is having to learn a bit about management at this level? He's played and managed at a high level perhaps where players were simply better than those in other teams. Celtic are a big fish in a small pond, and comparatively, had plenty to spend. The football was good when he first came then as things started to go tits up, we saw him regularly criticising players; this has happened with previous managers who seemed to lose the players. Interesting then that despite Saturday's poor performance he wasn't overly critical, at least publicly. In the long run it may do him some good as with plenty of managers who've started low down in their careers. I guess that's the risk with young managers, plenty of enthusiasm and ideas but less experience, particularly of man management. If this is the route PG is going down then give him time. If we do get shut then get a manager with experience of lower level clubs.
  13. Should a takeover happen, how would FFP affect the potential investment in the team? Would Lennie actually have loads to spend?
  14. He can have the Top Bull, supposedly closing later this month. Keep up the historical tradition of sporting landlords
  15. Just nicked his zimmer
  16. That shoulder injury could scupper our chances. Will have to bat well, and hope Broad and Anderson don't have too much to do second time round
  17. In fairness I felt there was commitment from the players but no confidence. Complete lack of quality in final third and, perhaps understandably, seemed happy to avoid defeat
  18. Wonder if he's willowing in his own self pity.
  19. Cleaned the fridge out the other day, the only thing left was a bunch of herbs. Later on, I thought I heard high pitched sounds in the kitchen. Went to investigate and could hear music, as I got closer to the fridge I recognised it was was a Beegees song. Alas when I opened the door it was just a chive talking
  20. This. And 30p per programme
  21. Just had a walk over the "new" bridge over the A666. It's great, can get all the way from Bradley Fold to the town centre with only Long Lane to cross. Just a pity the town centre is so unappealing
  22. Did you have any spare car keys in the house, and if so have you checked they're still there?
  23. Whichever way you slice it, we've got to earn a crust somehow, so take the dough how it comes
