  1. Isn't theirs different, or is it volume- fluid oz etc?
  2. Until this Christmas, I'd never seen a harry potter film all the way through. Quite enjoyed them on ITV now.
  3. Furlongs, yards, feet and inches. Fathoms and pounds/ounces. All a bit daft really.
  4. It would be a brave move to leave your leading scorer out against the league's top team. I think your arse is safe.
  5. There is now evidence that a "broken heart" is a real condition.
  6. Wasn't sure how it was going to go at first. Strangely compelling. An amazing story.
  7. Has anyone said Belgium? Boyata!
  8. Take your point, but it would be better to spend the money making the town more business friendly, making infrastructure better, improving facilities for potential employees. Agree with winchester. This sort of behaviour should not be permitted. If central government gave a pot of money specifically for this on top normal funding then you could understand it- so long as it was done openly.
  9. Lad just left the front door open. Was like a Harry Potter dimentor had sucked out the warmth.
  10. A number have been prevented from travelling where they have been suspected of going to fight. Those with no previous record are at liberty to travel. If they go and are found to have been fighting they are arrested upon return. Seems sensible. Attempts to strengthen laws with regard to this would be welcome.
  11. Aye, though I'm not sure how flush Charlton are ether. Be interesting to see if any bids do come in just what sort of a response we give.
  12. Mind you; its not gone to a raygun with a lambo, so no one will bother.
  13. So no deal done with Dean. Doesn't seem like one in the offing. From previous statements I thought he needed to buy out DH to ensure funding; presumably this has changed.
  14. He's going to get lynched.
  15. Stayed in a small place a few miles away earlier this year- a really nice part of the country. Drove past the steelworks- didn't realise just how big they are! Anyway can't see a large margin of victory. A single goal in it.
  16. Just read that Charlton's Ademola Lookman is set for a ten million pound move to Pablo's lot. He's scored seven this season. If true then perhaps that gives some indication of Clough's value.
  17. The law doesn't get changed so readily does it- human rights and all that. Meanwhile it is being used by terrorists/extremists and has contributed to the chaos we now see. Whilst many other nations ignore the law, I see no problem with keeping a known dodgy bastard locked up until his passport arrives, and if it doesn't come in reasonable time then send him off without.
  18. If international law is preventing deportations and causing deaths of innocents by protecting criminals and terrorists, then its fucked and in cases like this should be flouted until it changes. Doesn't sound like Tunisia was that bothered, so why not just fly the fucker straight back?
  19. Not impressed with the article to be honest. A suggestion that it was the openness that prevented more deaths because the heroic polish victim fought back. A bloody strange way of looking at it- that's politics I suppose. Don't agree with mounts that Merkel is "completely culpable"- she didn't commit the crime, but as he says policies etc are just too soft. Don't understand all this messing around waiting for a passport business. Get the fucker on a plane and take him back to Tunisia. Make sure he's fingerprinted, dna'd and photographed so that if he ever attempts to enter another country, he's turned back.
  20. Ffcoff-y-ank
  21. Not wanting to appear disrespectful, but radio five have now announced a delay to the football discussion programme, pending reflections of her passing. Is this not a bit OTT. Let the BBC schedule a proper tribute later if they want, but surely its getting just too much.
  22. Reckon he got plenty of leads flashing!
  23. Given the number of posts about how cold it was yesterday, got to thinking: some buildings/stadiums are now heavily laden with solar panels. If they were installed all over the roofs at the macron, could they be used to power some sort of underseat warming system- eg blowing warm air. Not trying to get to a barmy 20 degrees or owt daft, but just a bit to keep the blood flowing. Over the course of the year, would they create some revenue? Life line, paperless season tickets, BSA and his sports science; time for another bwfc pioneering innovation.
