  1. Me neither. Hope all is as well as it could be TW.
  2. Agreed, hardly a mistake, any signing runs the risk of injury.
  3. Love watching these storm programmes, but this one is something beyond.. Truly frightening for the poor buggers in its path.
  4. Felt a bit short changed with just seven episodes! That said looking forward to next series. Not sure why, but I reckon John Snow might cop for it. Anyway just recently seen episode three of californication. Rather interesting.
  5. Haha, nice one Dave. Walking don't be a problem, and as they are collies they'll out walk me!
  6. Wow thanks all. Quite keen on the diet side of things, (suppose I should be as I sell pet food), not bothering with loads of biscuits, and trying to use as little as possible whilst training. 'Treats' or rewards, are dried tripe or dried sprats and will be taken into account when we measure food. Not going to bother with artificial/manufactured stuff. Main difficulty is house training is ok, but if one has an accident then the rest seem to want to overpiss! I've been told to use bicarb solution to remove scent to help to stop them from pissing in the same place rather than going outside. Obviously mop straight away with floor cleaner/disinfectant but they seem to smell the same area and then start to piss. Gradually improving but this is the hardest bit! Learning their names and recall doing quite well. Three lads, and they battle Royal at times- hoping they'll chill a bit once I can take them out properly and burn some energy off.
  7. Wow. Great days.
  8. Was thinking same. Can't remember anything.
  9. Kinell embankment, that's some list. Oldham breweries- op mild. Sam smiths, didn't get much but was good. Got wrecked on Robbie's (fighting ale my dad called it) at my granddad's funeral- he left a little cash with instructions to raise a glass. Hyde's, Wilson's bring back memories. Used to have Mitchell's when lived in Lancaster- was very varied and generally poor- perhaps needed a good cellar and keeper.
  10. Anyone done it? Stupidly we've acquired three, currently around 1o weeks old. Driving me bonkers, house training OK, but with plenty of mishaps. They've loads of energy but can't go out yet (second jab tomorrow) Any tips?
  11. Interesting point smiley. Back to that documentary a little while ago. The trickle down effect from the megarich has been shown to be less than expected, although obviously exists to a degree. The point being that the majority of folk effectively don't get the benefit of the spending of those top few percent. Either way, whatever the situation, if everyone (people and companies) paid their dues, then public services would be better, and maybe rates of tax could be reduced a little.
  12. Winds now 185mph. Gusts well over 200. Savage, with a total size bigger than France.
  13. Without trawling back, how about Neil Cox?
  14. Poor bugger. I was weaned on tetleys, and with walkers Warrington ale, thwaites, and the likes of wards available at one time, not too far away, there was always a decent pint to be had.
  15. Truth is stranger than fiction
  16. Unfortunately, it seems that you're right. Though presumably some of these twats will be cock waving on social media. Hopefully, they will be receiving a knock on the door soon.
  17. Then again he only scored once for us. Dunno where.
  18. Just googled it and it comes up with various agencies saying its happening.
  19. Can't really put my finger on it, but there is something lacking. Individually, there are some decent young players, but put them in an england shirt and it doesn't quite work. I still can't help feeling that club football, and rivalries between teams somehow inhibit the formation of a really good team. Look at Germany, yes they have stars, but somehow there leagues are understated and lower key when compared to the premier league, and its be all and end all, top of the pedestal image. Put the German players together, and they gel, sometimes start a little slowly at tournaments but usually do pretty well. England simply don't.
  20. The epilepsy/anxiety stuff I take (free prescription) is very expensive apparently. I couldn't live with myself if I was squirreling stuff away and seeing the NHS etc struggling.
  21. Tents and sand. Said last night winds could gust up to 160mph. Egg yolk proper knackered in that.
  22. Seen the report re Bradshaw. Fucking disgraceful. Society is going to pot
  23. Not going to play much today.
