  1. You nearly had your wish at Manchester Airport earlier on
  2. Jordan Ide
  3. Simon Charlton
  4. Massive disappointment so far. Still just another eight wickets for not many will see us home
  5. Noticed a few chants of we only hate man utd during Tuesdays win, presumably Bolton or city. Might start again, especially if the game's crap!I'm taking the lad in the family stand, but if Steve Smith starts again then its going to be difficult to maintain child friendly opinions
  6. Didn't he get sent off here last year for a nasty challenge? He'd have to score shit loads to make amends
  7. Open season now. Every time an Aussie leaves his crease then just blocks it back to the bowler, launch the ball straight at him. If it hits him he's out every time right?
  8. Griffiths for England. Get in!!!
  9. Might venture in for some more goat's cheese
  10. How terribly sad. Even got to organise family birthday events etc. As for black history month....

  12. So, we've gone Brazilian. Wonder if getting him was a close shave
  13. Ever used asafoetida?Once got some from a spice stall and they kept it under the counter! Truly minging yet great in pulse curries
  14. Ashes are usually sold out. However if pitches like this become more common so will the tedious cricket. Hardly going to keep interest going in the longer form
  15. Solvent ones are indeed better, but they're not as readily available and expensive. Used to have my chimenea on it too, once a few burning embers had scorched the wood it began to lose some of its charm
  16. Took mine out this winter. Be sure you definitely want it- we did our own and we have done a couple of little ones for friends. They are high maintenance and quite expensive to keep in good nick. Just completed a re stain for some one and it was £132 for the stain alone. If its gets heavy use and a tough winter, which you have up your way, you'll need to re do it every year. I have found that the water based stains are not particularly long lasting. Once assembled, I found screws could not be removed if a board needed replacing, making the job more difficult. Joists are almost impossible to treat and ours lasted around 12 years before rotting through. The groved boards gather crap and need cleaning a lot to keep up appearances, especially if a lot of trees etc near by that drop leaves in autumn. On the plus side they have a softer feel than patios and look great when, new wouldn't have another one though. Colonel mustard once advertised in the business section.
  17. Was sat outside the meeting whilst watching the young un play. Despite the open windows couldn't hear what was being said. Just glad they were done before the first thunderstorm came
  18. Seconded. Like watching an animal documentary in Africa. The sound of the hale hitting the cars like some disaster movie
  19. Did you see what happened to the invading blue tit?
  20. A magnificent fight back for Lancs. Cracking performance in the end
  21. An article in the BEN ages ago. Some chap on holiday in Egypt found BWFC engraved on a pyramid wall. Couldn't justify it, but nonetheless got a strange sense of pride
  22. Part of her new fitness regime perhaps?
  23. Thanks very much, he's chuffed with it. Went showing his mates when he got home. He's going to have a practice at the end of the road after school.
  24. Just booked three tickets for the sep. 13. Robbing sods charging administration fees per ticket
