  1. In all reality, how much of this is down purely to trump? Not fishing here as I don't pay any attention to their internal politics; but he worries me. No problem with the "make America great again" policy, I'm just concerned at how he does it. Is he playing a clever game, and acting the extreme cock purely to then compromise to a position where he really wants to be? Twitter tirades over the size of his red but on don't rest easy.
  2. So long as its not her body...
  3. Still agree with you zico. Table doesn't mean a great deal but if they're going to justify it then Cardiff have bettered us, even if its just by a few goals.
  4. Was a great game that. Both sides trying to score goals and competitive without being over the top and spoiling the game.
  5. 15278 all leave with neck ache after a long ball tennis match. 2-4 to them.
  6. Fair enough that. Just don't get one from bcc Citroen. Since they took over lythgoe the customer service is shite. My van was bought from them, one of numerous Citroens I've had. Never again.
  7. Good news that. Every day the news on the radio or TV will have an article about some group or other saying their field is underfunded. There will never be enough money. Can only comment on my experiences over the last three or four years; at one point I was seen briefly at a&e (after being brought in by ambulance). As I hadn't self harmed or hurt anyone else, I wasn't deemed poorly enough to be admitted and told there was nothing they could do at that time. I'd undergone a breakdown of sorts, and was barely able to walk let alone think straight. I remember walking around like a zombie whilst doctors and nurses ignored me. Not having a dig at them as they were busy, but it highlighted the need for a better service in that area. In the end she (chief garden designer ) found me at the entrance to the hospital. Luckily. Gps have been brilliant and mental health service has been great since.
  8. 100% agree. I do think Parky has had a really good effect on Madine, and not sure how much Madine would want to go at the moment. Though obviously money talks.
  9. Agree there. Unusually From experiences I had in a&e it was clear that mental health provision was insufficient. I would add though, that once into the system, it was generally excellent. Like everything, more money always needed, but not sure where it will come from. If corbyn was to get in, I'm not sure how the government could afford such a big expansion, given they'd be laying a lot for all the renationalisation. Under the Tories, maybe some small easing of the purse strings but can't see it being much.
  10. Used to have a c4 grand Picasso. Great ride, and comfy seats. Was very underpowered with a 1.6 engine. Would imagine they've improved that since. Worse thing was parking it on the steep section of Breightmet drive in the snow, whilst picking up a mate to go to the macron. It electronic parking brake was on, but it slid away and careered into someone's garden wall. Now it may be that any other car may have slid away from that exact spot at that time; but I never really trusted it afterwards and wouldn't touch on again. My lad was in the back in his child seat at the time, and to see him sliding away whilst I was running alongside trying to get in was not something any one would want to experience.
  11. stoke are gone for me. Doesn't seem to be any heart in their efforts
  12. might as well leave him in the championship- that is where he will be playing next season when he returns
  13. perhaps he will get a 'home' now
  14. Must admit, I'd be tempted to cash in a bit of profit, but certainly leave some in.
  15. Add another ten million if its Sunderland.
  16. Wow. Last time I had a tooth out, it was a premolar- the dentist seemed to be swinging on the pliers but in fairness he'd popped it out in no time. Forty minutes sounds rough.
  17. Unbelievably wet here. Surface water on grassed areas and little streams in the woods where there haven't been before Wet tomorrow and Friday too.
  18. Saw a picture of her in an off the shoulder number. Keep her in the house.
  19. I've had all sorts of tests and treatments for ear problems. Gunk in eustachian tubes not draining or something. Clears up in summer, but then get a cold and everything seems to block up for winter. A good shower eases everything and I can spend 5 or 10 minutes blowing shit out. Ears crackle a bit like when you've been swimming. Tried all sorts but just live with it.
  20. i think hes got a decent pass in him, but as his interview showed (someone put a link on here iirc) he prefers a more passing type game- not surprising as he was schooled at RM. dont think he can handle the physicality. wouldnt surprise me to see him go back abroad.
  21. spider- you're a man of steel. in fairness, in my experience they don't chuck them about willy nilly. When I had pneumonia and similarly for the missus, they were given out as a result of an examination, apparently the lungs sound different if you've got a bacterial infection as apposed to a chesty cough.
  22. no eggs tomorrow gonzo?
  23. i was a bit bemused by brexit being the most selfish act since winston chrurchill saved europe. I'm sure that is a typo. either way, further justifies the decision for me
  24. Agree entirely. Always feels weird; a bit like tempting fate.
  25. Still odd though, not had much of a chance. We got the west ham lad who's done ok- wonder if there's any chance of making it permanent?
