  1. Is BD sweating? Hope he put his money on
  2. Madine you beauty
  3. Dean Holden gone too.
  4. Absolutely. Just making the point that most people assuming he won't play again for us. I'm not sure sure
  5. 23k, but in no way knocking it. Chunk off the mortgage helped big time.
  6. So it is, hadn't checked the calendar! Anyway SSN is also a pinch of salt information source
  7. Be interesting to see if Clough and Vela get a 'hamstring or similar' tonight, which suddenly gets better after the 18th
  8. The Clough situation is difficult. IF his sale somehow guaranteed our survival and removed all debt then fair enough. But 2million is going to help for a month or two, then we're still fooked with an even poorer squad. Moreover it wouldn't surprise me if brizzle pull out. FWIW I'm beginning to think this might be the club forcing the hand of interested parties, accept bids because we have to, pushing them to complete asap if they want the few young talents we have still available to help their rebuilding plans
  9. Administration on Monday according to SSN. Unless one of the four parties buys the club.
  10. SSN have just said we've agreed to sell mavies to them. Is he going or not? If not then it might be worth playing him to prove a point. If he does well may get other offers. As for Clough, as he actually gone? Again,if not play him
  11. NL must be pulling his hair out. Having to play the likes of trotter and spearing. Fear an absolute drubbing tonight
  12. Don't think that would be your problem. Once you get on the m60. Would imagine the best thing is to check Google etc for any problems and decide shortly before you set off
  13. The wife had a winning ticket once, part of a syndicate. Seven other winning tickets. A ninety sixth of the jackpot!
  14. A certain amount of trust has to be placed in the vendors. That being said properly produced meat is traceable etc. Personally, I buy from butchers or direct from farms. Undoubtedly eaten halal in the past, and at least now there are notices, to allow the choice. However, as nb detailed, it doesn't sit comfortably knowing animals are destroyed in this way. Religious beliefs should not outway laws/morals.
  15. Spent a lot of time in Shropshire (and Herefordshire), cracking part of the country. Folk always seem great. Reckon agriculture plays fuck with blokes' minds- can't take your frustrations out on a spud harvester or a prized bull:-)
  16. No said in interview it was going to charity
  17. Funny reading posts about the 3-3 draw with the bar codes in the cup. Before my first game but my brother played in the brass band before the game and at half time. He regaled the match story with great enthusiasm, and was one of the reasons for my growing interest as a little kid.
  18. Spuds got lucky there. A decent game. Still think we'll be on. Eastleigh impressed and they'll get a go second time round
  19. Pick one in three up and give it to the club
  20. Absolutely mental. Keep it coming :-)
  21. If this is genuinely the case then I'd agree entirely. I'm just concerned that the journalism is making more of a shit storm than there is. The kid should not be put in such a position, especially as it might hinder the chances of investment. He should be given the option, but if he wants to stay then fuckin great. Surely going there isn't going to help his career and there are better options round the corner
  22. Got to hand it to Leicester here. Doing to spuds what hudds did to us
  23. Then not play again all season with a mystery ligament injury
  24. Being shown the door? Accepting a bid for him is hardly showing him the door. If he's been told in no uncertain terms that he has to go then that's out of order, but ultimately it's his choice
