4-1 away win for them today. Man's a genius!

This. A synergistic relationship. Clough's instinctive movement is tremendous. I agree with the idea that back to the goal isn't Ameobi's bag but this can be worked on. I actually think Walker was willing to run in behind, down the channels, and that again would possibly work well with Clough and vela. All quite promising; come on PP carry on the good work and let them shred some defences.

Manc, I'm putting it in another way- the Pennines certainly keep us moist. Thus providing a great environment for cotton spinning. Without that, our town and possibly even our club wouldn't exist as it does now. See what a win does for the positivity?

Seconded.

The football wasn't the best, but all things considered it was a decent performance built on hard work and discipline. Some better football once we'd scored. Oh and I was worried when little went off, but morais was superb in his cameo.

A bit controversial here; as much as ameobi is a hell of a threat, I do wish he'd complete some of the great stuff he does. After one of many tussles which he won, he played a good ball to Robinson but then failed to do the simple thing of going again into the box and giving himself a scoring chance. Perhaps he doesn't quite have the legs, but I just wish he could really explode into the really top player he could be. Nit picking I know but we could have an absolute wizard. Anyway; a great goal and a hugely impressive defensive show with commitment from all. Team working for each other. Started off slowly, but got better and vela came into the game after half an hour or so. Continued into second half. Walker looked sharp but only had scraps- a better understanding will former once he gets to train more with the team. Clough again good movement and quality in possession. Should have burried his chance though. A really solid back 3, dervite once again impressive. Wing backs excellent and two lads in centre midfield disciplined. There's a half decent team in there; believe in yourselves start to keep the ball a little more and there are more than enough points to be won to stay up.

Watched some of that early doors. Quite funny at times but at others I found it a bit too daft.

Absolutely. Spider touched upon it earlier. When it all gets sorted a happy medium will be agreed to the benefit of all. Eu hardball statements don't help but its grandstanding. I'm curious to see how the final picture will look and compare to what people would have been happy with when David Cameron went to get changes in the first place.

To those who go I'd agree. Not for those that don't- several in my street. My neighbour went to the Ipswich match with his brother in law (an Ipswich fan). His words were "its absolute shite..." You can imagine the rest. Results do make a massive difference (a few of us made this point elsewhere), but a better standard of entertainment and news gets about and a few lost lads might just start making a return. May not be massive but small acorns etc.

You could be right. But let's be honest you don't know that to be true, just surmising. On the other hand he could have gone to the EU and said look I'm not that fuckin arsed as I'm happy being in the EU, but can you come up with something so I can slap down the growing out movement which is threatening to destabilise the status quo. As they gave fuck all he felt pressured into giving a referendum to try and stop the out movement. It didn't work. There's not really much else to compare the two situations. The st is a legally created body, with little effect on the club because its been badly run. An opportunity exists for folk to change it from within but if it doesn't it becomes an irrelevance. It also only represents one club. As you know full well efforts had been made to get the EU to change but they offered nothing. It doesn't become an irrelevance though and still has a massive impact. Fortunately countries can extricate themselves from the set up and choose another direction. Whether it proves to be for the best remains to be seen, but the only ones having a tantrum are the extreme brexiteers who seemingly want to completely alienate us, and those remainers who don't seem to want to accept a democratic vote and criticise those who voted out with silly analogies.

Good one. I'll chuck in Ed Moses. An amazing record.

I posted something similar previously. Agree totally. Its an opportunity, and one I'd like to see tried for a few games.Brizzle are a good team and may well beat us, so wouldn't want to see a one game experiment abandoned because it didn't work. A bit of football played on a televised game could well help to put a few more bums on seats.

Irrespective of what our opinions of the board are, they (the st) can only represent the views of folk who turn up and express them. If having done that, they carry on on some different track then they really are tossers. Mounts has said many a time he's gone down, got involved and made his views known, particularly if they have gone over the top. Give him and others that go the opportunity to make a difference; an effective st can be a force for good. Just slagging folk off doesn't achieve anything, the st has its legal status, and unless there are some rules whereby they can be "removed or shut down" for improper behaviour, then only by getting involved can it be changed. As I've said plenty of times, I've no real interest in getting involved, so I'm happy enough for those that do to go along their own path. If that is in conflict with the club then that's obviously a poor do and they'll ultimately fail as they have seemingly done up to now, but no point in getting your knickers in a twist over it. Life's too short for that.

I think vela can play in midfield so long as there is movement in front of him. He works well with Clough who has a natural ability to find a bit of space. Moreover with a bit of pace and movement we might actually keep the ball a bit longer higher up the pitch. Thus giving the defensive part of the team a bit less work to do.

I always call the first warm and humid days in May riot weather days. When folk first break out from winter mode and get leathered. Could do with a couple of 32° days to dry stuff up.

Federer definitely. A combination of grace, talent and professionalism. Some of the more dangerous sports; motor racing/ski jumping require a mentality way beyond most of us. Not sure who the best formula one driver would be though.

You are indeed facts illustrating the decision to leave has had an adverse effect on some companies. Birch has illustrated that quite clearly. In fairness to the BBC they have reported from companies on both sides of the argument; some companies benefiting hugely from the change in value of the pound. If you want facts then get them. As you have said we've not left yet; the change that occurred have been on the back of the decision, and not some huge economic shift. Winners and losers; I doubt a single out voter didn't believe there would be no bumps along the road. As a nation, we have become too reliant on the service sector, and insufficient manufacturing. The link from Miami shows the EU lady explaining this. Strangely, by the same token, once out if manufacturing becomes greater, then the European model may have worked better for us. The EU missed a trick when Cameron went for changes and they came up with nothing and its come back to haunt them.

In all fairness, I did occur to me that phrase (making a living ) wasn't the best; should have made it more specific to being on here. As you were. As for extrapolation of his statement into the fedarisation of Europe wasn't what was being suggested. Clearly. Purely the fact that from a stating point of Europe being a geographical continent and nothing more than a group of countries, the gradual integration of lots of practices has tended towards it. A basic trading agreement would necessitate that to a very slight degree, and nowt wrong with that. To be perfectly honest the leave campaign would never have been anything more than a few grumbling individuals if the trading agreement had remained at a basic level. However seeing much of the country physically turning to shit because of a population crisis has to stop somewhere. That did it for me, and paying millions for the privilege.

How big is their new stadium going to be?

Didn't realise the stats were that good. I'll take a cup half full approach and say that if we could defend then might have avoided the shit that followed. We've got a better gaffer now.

Calling someone out for not agreeing. You make a living out of it. I'm perfectly happy for you to have a different opinion- but it's you who changes other folks comments or chooses to make wild misinterpretations. If desired Gaulle did make that comment I find that interesting. End of, it doesn't mean that's anything to go by when assessing the EU nor justification for leaving. More perhaps a judgement on the British people that may well have been quite acurate. But of course you chose to make my interest into something it clearly isnt. As for the direction of travel; well the whites are threatenned with relegation, we might not actually go down, but we sure as he'll aren't getting promoted. That's blinding obvious No. Clearly not. You'd choose not to believe it.

So a bloke who goes to the darts, with his mates has a few beers and enjoys the atmosphere is a creepy old man? Kinell, pornhub like many others has a range of subject matter, some of which clearly takes advantage of women being given money to do stuff that they aren't comfortable with. Thanks but I'm perfectly happy to enjoy a sporting activity with the odd scantily clad lady doing a job she isn't doing under duress. The wanderers have cheerleaders (some of who are attractive) - should they be stopped because 12000 creepy old blokes are about to knock one out all over the terraces?
