When we passed it around he looked alright- during our best spell in the first half.
When we go front to back, as we did too many times to Beckford he didn't seem to know what to do- run beyond for the flick-on/knock down or stay behind when he didn't win it. Seemed out of position and wasn't influential.
He's too light weight for the physical, attritional game, but better when we pass and move.
Pratley and Medo were great though and we'll get better.
Surely, if the kit is not available then the DRS review should not have been used.
Shouldn't have mattered though, as rightly pointed out, he clearly hit it and it was evident on the slow motion replay. When then commentators were saying there was no evidence that he hit it, well....
Not sure what the club did wrong.
The business over the testimonial was wrongly portrayed by the press, and like anyone else when their time is up, was told that he wouldn't be offered a new one.
Dunno the specifics, obviously, but I'm unsure as to what exactly the club should have done differently.
To produce a a work purely of 'legends' would be virtually impossible- it would need to be huge to reflect different opinions.
I quite like it- reflects the history of the club, with big names rubbing shoulders with journeymen and well loved characters; Campo et al, with Kevin Cyril Davies, with Cowdrill and players from the first world war era....
Works for me; it's artwork and not a popularity contest.
Great stuff
Place another 'pretend' order with them and ask for collection.
Presumably, you'll get the same driver collecting.
Enlist the assistance of a few lads if needed, grip the the bastard when he arrives and refuse to release him until he's sorted it
Muamba comments in his book- he'd told Petrov he was going to ask to leave; he even makes reference to the fact that results we were better when he played. The rest is history
Jonathon Trott is apparently not averse to 'standing up for himself'- IIRC there was a incident in the Aussie game and he was having a go at the keeper. Agree re Broad though; likes to dish the verbals but I doubt he'd back it up.
As for Warner, when he next comes out to bat, I hope they play the 'Rocky' music and wind him up before unleashing Anderson on him.
Happy and Youri make valid points.
But, if you fancy it, don't die wondering.... give it a go.
As is said above reduce debts etc. and consider what the implications may be with regard to getting mortgages/remortgages- being self employed makes it more difficult if you need one.
When I worked at a UMIST, I was a good friends with the resident locksmith. He'd served his time with a company before moving on- he always told how his gaffer insisted he must keep himself busy during quiet periods so he used to dismantle old locks and put them back together- anything to learn quicker- said it was the best thing he'd recommend to any budding locksmiths!
If you do go for it, propery management companies/estate agents always need tradesmen to look after their rental portfolio.
Good luck!
Reckon he's taken a calculated gamble with his comments- sort of 'Back me or sack me'.
Some sympathies there- be interesting to see if he walks should he not force through a change of approach
Indeed, but strangely enough they no longer grow turf, bring it from cheshire apparently.
Good for Indian stone etc.
