  1. Yeah heard rumours of such- perhaps that would be a legal way of challenging the validity of it. Had to read your post twice though; initially read alienated as eliminated!
  2. Sluffy- the point about st membership numbers and its direction is not really relevant. It was set up legally, and insufficient people were available for election to the committee (so I understand it). The only way to change that is to become a member and challenge them. Someone, somewhere may be able to change their methodology and appeal to greater numbers. You've suggested different forums joining together- great idea if you can get enough numbers to join the st and force through change. If something like this did ever happen though, it would require a clear mandate for whoever was put forward and thus an agreed strategy amongst everyone before hand. Good luck with that! Not sure if there's an alternative method; maybe a legal route if its not fit for purpose, but I wouldn't know.
  3. Its fake news again. Great this. Just waiting until one of our party leaders uses the fake news line to dismiss something.
  4. Fuck off you murderous monster. Must have cost many thousands of pounds keeping him alive- should have tortured him as soon as he was convicted until he revealed Keith Bennets resting place. Too late when they took him back years later.
  5. I know its crossing the line a bit but I'd have carrick in midfield.
  6. The legal right is the fact that they've gone thought the process of becoming a trust. The rest is just opinion, whether we like it or not. We can all moan, with good reason, but as is stated above people can change it from within by joining and putting their views across. Presumably, there will be some means by which an egm or a vote of no confidence can be tabled, but you'd have to be a member to do so. As to whether another st can be set up, I don't know but I doubt it. Personally I can't be arsed joining and going through the hassle, rightly or wrongly, so I'll just keep a distant view on it. It would never please all come what may, but I would imagine that carrying on as they are, someone will eventually challenge the board or it will gradually fade away.
  7. I know nowt really, but were you I'll on holiday or when you got back? If the latter, would you have to prove you contracted it whilst away?
  8. With corporation tax. Loads spare apparently.
  9. I can understand that!
  10. Bollocks. Not a great result today. Can't win them all I suppose.
  11. If there's a suggestion the Davies has mental health issues then its a great shame. What is for sure is that he will have been given proper support. His performances last year weren't good enough. If he was suffering then, then the manager etc were idiots for playing him. The pfa will also help him. Don't offer him a new contract though.
  12. Not going to undo the autocorrect now. Better as it is.
  13. Whilst none (or few) of us are happy with their performance, I wouldn't want to go near the role of committee member. It would be virtually impossible to get consensus amongst all fans as to what to do, so I choose not to get too worked up by their actions. It will get sorted one way or another.
  14. Veal after being ravaged by pitch invaders last game.
  15. Got talking to a lad today, only mat him recently, turns out he had a bad do recently, and he has a relative who suffers terribly at times- huddled in a corner balling his eyes out. It all sounded familiar, and yes in a way it is pathetic; almost like watching yourself in a movie being someone you don't want to be but can't do anything about it. Klasnic is on kidney dialysis because they don't work right. When the brain doesn't we don't think or function right. So what, we are allowed to feel that way, its not our fault. Just need some help, or a lot maybe. It is out there.
  16. Idea makes some sense, but occasionally I do think it needs tweaking.
  17. You're already talking to people.
  18. Each to their own mate, but why hide your meds? You've done the hard work in getting help- no different than taking statins for cholesterol. For me there's no such thing as 'mental' health, just a chemical defect in a part of the brain. Could quite easily by a kidney etc.
  19. Stunning finish and another great victory.
  20. https://www.selfhelpservices.org.uk/directory-of-services/search/The%20Sanctuary/blank/ Another useful contact. He does my head in at times but we don't want chexit.
  21. I know you didn't mean it that way, but the first four words keep making me chuckle. That would finish him.
  22. At least you acknowledge there will be a tomorrow. A good starting point. Onwards...
