  1. Team for Afghanistan? Broad, Anderson, Morgan possibly Bell send em home now. Hales to open, with Ali, Taylor back to three, Root, Butler,Bopara might as well have a go, Woakes, Jordan, Tredwell, Finn and Ballance- might as well keep the younger ones in
  2. with any luck QPR would have them....then again Twitcher's gone
  3. took the words out of my mouth. May be its too much to see him singing the national anthem, but he's the captain for fucks sake.
  4. they can have him for me. All about opinions but he doesn't come across as inspirational, quite dour. Guess all will be revealed
  5. One of the commentators made a point about how batsmen seem to do well when they first come into the squad, then fade away.. Must be something in the coaching/hierarchy. Moore's not doing well, but one day problems predate his tenure. No confidence amongst batsmen, bowlers ineffective and a captain who frankly doesn't appear to be overly bothered. Maybe his own form is costing him, but he doesn't inspire.
  6. don't think he'll really want to anymore.
  7. Good performance that. Isner is a freak, hardly looks like he's hitting the ball when he serves
  8. Shame about the injury. Good game. Just shows what might have been had England not dawdled in the middle overseas against Sri Lanka
  9. Blackpool players-all shit in the sand
  10. if you feed it with used engine oil it will get even lusher
  11. Bobby Dearden, hero. Cricket on the telly in history class
  12. We could do with a right back to let vela play in midfield. McNaughton's broke his leg and won't play again this season
  13. He will be pouting when they go down
  14. Signed Peter Siddle for the forthcoming season
  15. just been on the radio that he has got a minimum of four years. What a joke, let the bastard go and tear up his passport on the way out
  16. Bit of a gradual appearance change. Is he going to convert and fuck off himself
  17. that suggests a lack of confidence in themselves and each other. Possibly even in what they are being asked to do
  18. Saturday. No football to get in the way
  19. You can see he is really ticking in that interview. Hopefully burned his adrenaline on a punch bag or he won't have slept much
  20. Far too much emphasis on degrees these days. Originally a university place was there for the most accademically able. As it should be, and unless parents earned above a given a amount, the place was there purely on ability not wealth. Nowadays there are far too many unis. which has resulted in devaluation of a degree. Many employers now undertake additional testing to separate out better candidates. Sadly many young people have their aspirations unfairly raised by the concept of having a qualification that no longer has the credibility it once had. Leaving them saddled with debt, (this doesn't include living costs) is unfair. There are different ways into a successful career, and all these should be used. Instead there is too much emphasis on going along what seems to be the socially accepted norm. Fook all wrong with proper apprenticeships etc
  21. they posed the question of kp returning to Stuart broad earlier. A very interesting answer.
  22. according to bbc McNaughton having a fitness test on a hamstring. Feeney may also be out
