  1. Are there any financial penalties for them? Not gone into this particularly deeply, but lets say they pushed the boat out at the beginning of the season to bring in a player or two that might boost their chances of promotion, whereas others don't in order to conform and end up having a less successful season. Perhaps an over simplistic view but having not complied might turn out to be worth while in the long run.
  2. Was a Salford Royal earlier this week for an EEG. Great service and friendly staff
  3. Vic Crompton Ltd (Chorley) did a job for me once- seemed ok
  4. Had 3 bean soup a couple of times- sounds shite but actually not too shabby
  5. Great win today. Good time for Root to find form too
  6. It's bad news for anyone with shares in them. Plenty of pension schemes rely on shares from all over the place performing well and that can affect a lot of folks.
  7. It buggared up the sky signal last night
  8. interesing article that and food for thought
  9. As things stand I'd imagine we're almost as likely to be playing in the prem next season as Leicester- in our league he's got a better chance of completing a recovery mission than in a brief spell in the prem
  10. 20p entry in 1975! I can remember paying £1.80 in the early 80's to get in the manny road terrace, but thats some price rise in just a few years-was that a time of high inflation
  11. Get rid asap. Currently being checked out in case I'm developing epilepsy and they do my head in. Maybe they will do something if some poor photosensitive individual throws a wobbler and pitches off the top tier
  12. Agreed. Morgan is not setting the world alite neither
  13. Put his wife in stocks outside and people can lob stuff at her on the way in. Something for everyone then
  14. Agree entirely. They left him out in the summer and have now brought him back. If they dont fancy him, righly or wrongly, they should have the balls to drop him, tell him why and move on. If they are going to play him then he should be used accordingly. Other bowlers were knackered and were being smacked to all parts while he was twiddling his thumbs
  15. Too soon to be making judgements about safety. That said, young un started training with Elton last year, it wont be easy to watch as he makes his way through and starts playing games. Rip Phil Hughes
  16. A good effort in the end. Bit concerned about the bowling options and batting needs to be more consistent
  17. Terrible news. Rest in peace
  18. Pretty sure it was Roger Walker who physically lobbed my mate out of the library. He was a bit nowty then if my memory serves me correctly
  19. Common Lewis, stuff the kraut Great he has passed him
  20. As an act of conciliation, at the next home match at the DW Stadium, the food kiosks will not be selling hot dogs, but will be offering bagels instead
  21. Saw this on SSN this morning. A brilliant story- and tremendous that the manager takes time out for this. Club is on the up both on and off the field.
  22. A big mug here- says more about the waste of life and that humanity can sometimes win out. Was so good that didn't think of it as an advertising campaign. Doubt it will make me go out and shop loads at Sainsbury's but might just grab some chocky- it's for a good cause after all.
  23. They're not too happy are they? Can just imagine Lee Clark's face, in the unlikely event of it happening
  24. Kunt Aguero Wouldn't mind Putin it in them Russians either
