  1. No-only he can. To most it appears deliberate- as Curbishley said it was an unnatural movement. Convictions in court are beyond reasonable doubt. Don't think the FA work to such criteria. He's getting banned
  2. Surely there's a more fundamental point here. Tax evasion is currently the reason for the case. However, money was paid to him for profit on transfer dealings- this, for any manager, must represent a potential conflict of interest. Sell your best players for a healthy profit and make a wedge as part of the deal could seriously screw up your team's chances- it's immoral, and I'm amazed managers are allowed to have this in their contracts. The profit from dealings should be the clubs'. Moreover, he could buy a shit load of kids from lower division clubs with no intention of playing them, then sell them later for a profit to line his own pockets-. The tax is a separate issue. Or is this why OC has been touting Cahill for a while?
  3. They don't chafe your nose like tissues do when you've got a streamer
  4. That should be a sweet birthday now
  5. Tremendous result. 4-5-1 The new garlic bread
  6. There's something in this
  7. Anderson- what a six!
  8. Okocha running a business is Nigeria.... wasn't there a story once that he'd lost shit loads after being scammed or was that bollocks
  9. New ball soon, could make or break England's chances. If Pakistan have a reasonable total to chase on a waring pitch, 2nd inns, then Swan may come into his own
  10. Well none of our Isreali players stayed long did they
  11. I'm sure that's part of it. Doesn't stop him rolling up his sleeves and showing some passion and committment- behaving like a captain. I haven't seen much this season, but by all accounts he's not done this. He's never scored a lot but always been a shoe in; this has changed. Perhaps he could ask for a free transfer or just retire, but while he's being paid thousands a week, why would he?
  12. Sulley Muntari according to the Times- it says so on SS Text
  13. Early mid-life crisis! Wish I had his reasons for being pissed off.
  14. Let alone his decision to take the ship off course to wave at a friend on the island (so it said on a newsreport)
  15. Not into boxing so know little of his career. Always aseemed decent enough when seen on the telly. Talked about him on the radio this morning- briefly discussed his 'conversion' and his islamic aversion to all things white. Bit surprised but seems to have grown out of it- or was it all a publicity stunt ?
  16. Dunno where you live Micky, but when we looked after Harwood, we'd go around the estate on South Drive etc slinging the stuff around on blackspots for just such events Rescued a couple of artics and a number of cars in Halliwell last winter. Also rescued the fire station in the town centre a couple of years back, with a couple of van loads. Sadly though, a number of council wallers don't want to know and don't exactly adopt a community spirit- just rather sit in the van and do feck all
  17. They have specific routes. Unless she's directly on one, her best bet is to ensure the nearest grit bin is filled- sadly many of these were withdrawn because of vandalism. Ring Environmental services and enquire.
  18. They should be giving it away at the moment. The shed's rammed and we've hardly had a cold winter
  19. Interesting- do you reckon you can just bring a 'pet' and he'll eat it?
  20. Did it once- never again. We had to set annual mileage - go over and they charge you x pence per mile! When I first did it, the paperwork had a lower annual mileage than I had verbally agreed to. Went back and told them, and they said paperwork cock up- nowt to worry about. When it came to renew I'd been stitched up, the lower limit was still in place. Could't afford to give the car back with the due overpayments. Wouldn't renew agreement for new one so had to buy it. Whatever you decide; always ensure you'll have some cash to hand at the end of the period
  21. Prefer Bury market; though both are good. Paul's farm shop in Leyland truly is the dogs bollox though. Tremendous quality and good prices. Bit of a treck though.
  22. My 7 year old loves his programmes. He's poor with food- frightenned of a baked bean. But when Bear rips into a live fish or a wriggling grub, then that's feckin' great!
  23. Gardens/Grounds maintenance. Domestic/commercial Getting a web site sorted currently. Watch this space
  24. Worth a punt?
  25. Could your line of work be classed as higher risk though? Thanks for the info all
