Sorry to hear that gonzo. Just seen galgate on the local news- brings it home to see a road where you used to live submerged. Not sure there's much folk can do to help; but if you do need any help ie with transport/lugging shit about, more than happy to bring the van up. All the best.

Thanks for that. What a complicated mess. Its only ever been a level playing field between just a few nations. These numbers are meaningless until the final deal is reached, and then it will be difficult to fully understand.

That's the ability of good managers though, to recognise potential issues, manage the personalities and gradually put his mark on things. Traf's point about a lack of professionalism is quite right, but it also suggests Megson didn't understand the characters available to him. We can go on about managers like BSA, but look at our PP now- I'm not his greatest fan in terms of his tactics, but he seems to be able to command the respect of players and build a decent spirit. Rather have him than Megson any day.

Concerns aired the other day about the numbers of youngsters not coming to the game because of computer games and cost of matches. If it continues then may have repercussions down the line.

Its not just 'us' though. Talking to people in general and folk say its not worth it. Economy might be doing OK, but with bad publicity about inflation, wages and brexit, be interesting to see what subscription levels are like. Do they publish them at all?
