  1. Wondered that- if the external panels caused the spread, did is get in the flats through melted windows? Unfortunately now turning political.
  2. Think so- the idea is to get people the see what they're using with a view to reduction in energy use. Whether that will work who knows.
  3. Saw an episode of 24 hours in police custody. Series five, episode one. A bloke attacked someone with a fire extinguisher in a lift. Won't tell the whole story but was disturbing. Given the ones listed above you might be interested.
  4. But surely they'll be corbyn's supporters
  5. That's one major op he's had. A tremendous effort from the little fella; well done all.
  6. Seems mixed views. One person said not- possibly because of the ferocity. Maybe they might have given folk more time to be rescued, I guess this will come out in the wash. Mayor of London getting some stick- one Mon heckling him for not supporting JC or something. I know there's a lot of justifiable anger, but abusing his ilk isn't going to bring back those that have perished.
  7. Aye but it could be diluted 50:50.
  8. An expert on telly last night said that sprinklers required in Scotland. Only recommended in the rest of uk. Not compulsory. Yet.
  9. You'll have vegans after you.
  10. As Arlington says. Bit report on the wireless about them a little while ago. Wouldn't touch one, at least until they all speak the same language. One thing I would ask is presumably your bill will fluctuate monthly according to usage. Bills larger in winter?
  11. I didn't ask about anything I stated that no other group carries out attacks of this nature. The thread title is terror attacks; referring to what has gone on here. The statement I made is true. Only Muslim extremists carry out this stuff. What's going on over there is terrible but it is a struggle over there. Western involvement over the years may not have helped and perhaps we'd all be better off out of it. Over here, everyone has the right of protest, and so long as its peaceful and not inciteful or illegal then fine. But as has already been pointed out there will undoubtedly be hateful messages. Moreover there will be little sympathy if extremists continue to carry out attrocities in places that have no involvement in suppressing palestinians.
  12. I had to have 5 million cover for a couple of jobs I did. Would imagine a big organisation would need more, but dunno if that is the case.
  13. So that's what's in a vending machine tea!
  14. The chimney effect is understandable, though a source of fuel is also necessary.
  15. Got stuck against spinners again. Bowling formulaic.
  16. Maybe, dunno. Not sure what you're saying there though. I'm no fan of the Israel's approach at times, but I don't see what relevance that has to extreme Muslims committing acts of terror the world over.
  17. Hopefully. As for the Israel debate; they've a lot to answer for with their behaviour towards their neighbours. As do their neighbours in return. What isn't happening in large scale terrorism from Jewish, Hindu, etc extremists. That's what needs cracking.
  18. The intensity and scale of that fire is incredible. Some serious questions to be asked.
  19. I think Chamberlain was playing for france- he gave them the ball enough.
  20. An interesting observation from the giroud disallowed goal. The england players stepped up and stood still, had it been reviewed and given (assuming he'd been onside) then the england players would be saying we stopped as the decision had been made. Obviously should play to the whistle but once it has blown as in this case, then it becomes a legitimate complaint. Can of worms.
  21. He's as complete a striker as I've seen. Shearer could score from anywhere and Kane seems the same. Inside or outside, headers or either feet. His ability to hit shots firm with little backlift, and keep them low into the corners is tremendous. He can put pens away too.
  22. What's it like in a brew?
  23. Yeah, said on the news this morning decent ones would be moved- presumably that meant new ones in the main. Stockport are moving there's but are going to put a permanent memorial up somewhere. Perhaps Manchester will do the same. Not sure if 'ours' are still there- they were last Thursday; would imagine once one does it they will all start to. Really is a difficult situation, and not pleasant.
  24. Went briefly as a kid. The "shore" was deep stinking foetid muck. That Nessie is a dirty sod. Suggest you find a clean bit
  25. Having babies- perhaps they just want to get away from the scriking.
