  1. It will cost a lot to run but its also an income generator, which ka has touched upon previously. This income will form a greater proportion of income when we are in lower leagues.
  2. Not the first time. He needs to control himself, or players will learn to wind him up and he'll get a reputation.
  3. Agree with this. He stayed loyal to his players, understandably, but its backfired. Players need to look at themselves big time, but I guess that's where the very top managers work best; understanding people and knowing when to let people go. Mahrez was said to be wanting out end of last season, centre halves too slow. Their method has been sussed out and without the graft they're poor. Some of his newer players may prove to be decent in time but obviously some unrest making things difficult. He may be a victim of his own decency, but not an unsurprising decision.
  4. Each to their own, but the only thing that changed was socially for me. Didn't spend thousands though; register office and the boozer.
  5. Bit risky; obviously you'd want to protect your car, but potentially getting one on the head... A woman dead in Wolverhampton after being hit by debris.
  6. Can you open any windows?Be interesting to see what it did to the paperwork:)
  7. Doubt we'd do that with our finances. At first we thought Lennon was ace, then we couldn't afford to get shut. See where we are later in summer.
  8. Anyone preferring a bite to eat on the way home, suggest go via castleton. Years since last went but there was one pub where the landlord was a sheff u fan. He would have bets and a number of fivers were displayed on the walls with details of the bet. Can't remember the pubs name but was good food etc.
  9. He's wiser than that. I'm intrigued by a beryllium life form though.
  10. Lovely out! A chunk of a neighbours tree dropped on to the footpath, lucky no one was passing. Couple of tall poplars looking dodgy out the back. A lot of water has fallen too.
  11. Where's spider with his flying tree tale. Does make you think about driving if you don't need to. Stay safe folks
  12. Shared a house with a sheff u fan when at uni. A few years later he got in contact and I went to meet him and then went to the game. Went to his local, he walked up to the bar ordered a drink then paid for it and walked away. Was stood there feeling a right lemon, so got myself one. Got a round in myself to make a point then went the to game. Lost 3-1 and was sat with him in the home section. A shite day, was glad to get home. Never seen the cunt since.
  13. Contemplated going for a walk up great hill- did it a few years ago in strong winds but eighty mph gusts are a bit dodgy- not least the drive up Belmont road first. Just go out locally and keep a watch on the trees.
  14. Remember watching him bowl an over of yorkers just outside off stump. Can't remember the opposition but the batsman looked baffled.
  15. Not the macron then?
  16. Aye. Like going out for dinner and someone sat there with an openly visible colostomy bag.
  17. Our Doris is coming Thursday. Sounds interesting. May even be a bit of white stuff.
  18. Happen they'll go for brum's old boss.
  19. Just reminded me of a few years ago, I posted a fact that my lad had never seen a goal, and therefore asked if I should keep him away from the play offs (we didn't get there in the end). Quite a few said don't bring him! I've got a feeling that the travelling army will be rewarded next week anyway.
  20. I know mate, just seemed from what I read that beevers wasn't as dominant as used to be. Both centre halves are big lads but not the most mobile. Concerns me when opposition runners come straight through midfield and is that causing indecision etc at the back.
  21. Not being there is hard to make a judgement, but is a weak midfield destabilising the back four? Seemed that beavers got 'done' a few times.
  22. Coyle's lot winning
  23. Given the consensus that we don't play well when we have a big following, would you consider not going if it meant we would have a better chance of winning? A load of superstitious bollocks I know, but...
  24. I've just not got a man cave.
