Coyle was on the radio a while ago explaining that he didn't feel under pressure because he's in a well paid industry etc... "the bloke earning a pitance with mouths to feed etc...that's pressure" was his reply. Dead right I thought nice to hear it. Latterly he's saying he's not concerned about losing his job etc.... While I can respect his consideration for the financial plight of many fans, he should also respect the fact that football is what keeps some of them going, a spiritual buzz at a weekend. Somehow it's as if this approach has got to the players and they don't seem too worried about their futures either! As it seems obvious he's not going anywhere, and now that he's taken to naming scapegoats, he needs to chop the wasters from the team and give the kids a chance- after all we'll be relying on them next year so give them some experience.

Sayings That Get On Yer Tits

We've got to take the positives.... Try the electrode type with 240 volts flowing through it, tossers. Job descriptions... Liase with partners, user groups... CAN YOU TALK TO PEOPLE? Valuing diversity... IF YOU DON'T GO OVERBOARD ON EVERY TOM DICK AND HARRY THAT DOESN'T HAVE WHITE SKIN THEN YOU'RE A RACIST. Prioritise work load... AVOID CHAT FORUMS. The list goes on -
Hangeland will dominate Davo. No service to Klasnic. n-1 to Fulham were n is positve and large. Eagles/Cahill from a set piece.

Quality. Some were still better than our lot with 1 leg

Absolutely- Muamba at QPR, Eagles (2nd) aginst stoke- great little passes from Klasnic. Playing him and Davo, in front of a week midfield, away from home is hardly going to make him look world class; that's not his fault. Me thinks people's opinion would be very different if he were playing for a half decent team, getting many more chances per game.

Sack 'em both and save some cash!

Tell yourself you don't deserve a shite Christmas and don't want undue stress caused by watching them at this festive time Moreover, would the fuckers come and pay to watch you perform badly in you paricular career? If you feel guilty try one of them "repent.." boards round your neck and walk round the stadium shouting at everyone

Got the usual old match tickets hanging around. Had the stubb from a European game in my wallet; it came into it's own at Nat's funeral, when Franky Worthy appeared, I got him to autograph it (it was this or a tenner, and I figured he might keep the latter!). A while ago my wallet needed replacing- bought a new one, chucked away all the old receipts secreted within the old one. Suddenly, a couple of days later a had a feeling of dread- Yes, the autographed ticket had gone into the recycling too- and had been collected!

Real Trees
Tonge moor green jacket replied to little whitt's topic in Behind The Stands - 'Classics'
Micky- given that the lights arced could a plastic tree not have gone up in a similar way- or are they flame proofed (by law perhaps?) -
Each to there own like but I just can't understand why it would want to go in to that line of work. Curves for me too!

Indeed- ripped off his shirt and through it down; Phil Neal (I think) ensured it was his last action in a bolton shirt -
Fair Play To The Big Guy!
Tonge moor green jacket replied to iggy's topic in Behind The Stands - 'Classics'
The guy with the wallpaper- his voice sounds like one of them Ardman type characters on t' gas advert a while ago: "very turn off and on-able...." Anyway he surely has a box of tummy wipes at the side of his bed -
Wonder if he went and mugged a couple of old grannies after.

Seen those comments too- seems as if he's accepting relegation is a probability and staying up a bonus. Clear some debts, etc, bring in some kids.... Could accept all that if our debts were worse than he says- and if the players were showing some commitment. At least Coyle's latest post match comments ackowledged that the players weren't fighting for the cause. But can't see much of a plan to deal with it.

Smokescreen Cahill more or less issued a come and get me plea when interviewed after recent England game
-
Agreed; additionally, when he's on it's all too easy for the defence just to launch it- if Coyle wants to play football, then give the likes of n'gog and tuncay a proper run and see what happens- nowt to lose afterall!

January Loans...
Tonge moor green jacket replied to Youri McAnespie's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Owen Hargreaves- looks fit now but not getting regular games at City- maybe a useful 5 months to showcase his talents -
Cahill - Wil It Be Overturned
Tonge moor green jacket replied to Ani's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Think it might have been overturned, but Coyle has gobbed off about Riley- perhaps he should have waited until AFTER the appeal.
