All things considered, it's no wonder he goes missing from time to time. I think he shows plenty of promise, just needs a manager with more tactical and man management nouse than the previous one.

SS will have a plan and budget, generally young players will be cheaper. As for senior players still under contract; can't really see them wanting to hang around in league one. Free transfers will allow them opportunity to make up salary short falls elsewhere.

It's quite a simple scenario really. SS come in, and offer the ones they want to keep new contracts. The FL I'm sure would be happy with this as no transfer fees involved. Whether they accept new offers is a different matter. The presence of NL may have some bearing on that.
